"Taco, start this off with Rain Dance, it might help Jay as well. Then use Ice Beam to create an Ice Wall in front of you. It might make a good defense but be careful if it smashes, you could be hurt."

Taco nodded and focused some of his power to his large light green hands. Taco produced a large water orb and continued to rub his hands over the ball. Then with ease, he launched the orb into the air and it disappeared amongst the clouds. Within seconds the light projected by the sun started to diminish. A large black rain cloud hung over Joe and Jay. The rain started to fall down and trickled down the black jumper of Joe's.

Baltoy on the other hand had other ideas and started to use the rain as an advantage and started to lower it's body into the soft wet mud. It started to rotate it's arms and spun around like a Spinner Top. The spinning Baltoy slipped and skidded and started to produce a thick mud substance flying towards Taco. The mud splattered all of Taco and did a bit of damage. It stopped spinning and returned to the original position of hovering over the ground.

Taco looked a bit angry and now was cautious. He opened his mouth and produced a thin white beam in front of him. The white beam collided with the sloppy ground and created an ice cold barrier. Joe hoped that this would reduce the power of all attacks coming at him, however the down point was that ice could shatter leaving Taco worst off.

Down on the opposite end of the field, Baltoy suddenly started shine like the stars in the night sky. Joe suddenly realized what move this was and started to become a bit anxious. The move Cosmic Power, increased the Special Defense and Defense of a Pokemon, a move not to be taken light heartily.

Joe was now faced with a difficult problem. During Jay's battle Abra used the move Trick Room which meant slower Pokemon move before quicker Pokemon. It didn't help when Ludicolo's ability is Swift Swim which doubles speed in the rain. Also the fact that Baltoy had a higher special defense. Joe looked up and put the thoughts behind and ordered his Pokemon

"Taco, use Ice Ball. A mix of Ice Beam and Energy Ball. Fire an Energy Ball towards Baltoy however fire an Ice Beam to surround the ball, more like a coat. Then be prepared for anything to strike."

Taco, Joe's Ludicolo started off by doing an ancient dancing style in order to try and produce rainy weather. Ass odd as it sounded, it was oddly effective and within seconds dark thick clouds came into view and within seconds rain was pouring over the four battling Pokemon. Afterwards, Ludicolo began to shoot out a thin beam of ice at the mucky ground below-- presumably a rather weak Ice Beam attack. I was wondering what the point of it was until I saw Joe's plan start to come together. The cool ice started to freeze the slushy muck and create a temporary barrier.

Galvantula began to make high-pitched squeaks and I realised then how impractical that was. Everyone was forced to cover their ears to take the ringing noise, and what's even more unfortunate was that it hit Ludicolo aswell.

In the meantime Baltoy had started to take advantage of being mostly ignored and I saw his body start to glow a dark grey colour and I watched as he closed his eyes and focused on his Cosmic Power attack. As I watched the ancient Pokemon even seemed to broaden out a little and I knew the attack was working. If it was let to setup like this, we could be in big trouble.

"That can't be good," I muttered. Abra started to do some odd hand gestures as the Thunder Wave struck him head on, sending blue sparks shooting all along his odd alien-like body. He started to create a barrier and within seconds I could feel myself slowing down and I knew from previous battles what this was. "Trick Room," I grumbled. Suddenly, an idea hit me. Okay, Spidey. That Baltoy is looking to be rather tricky so use Spider Web to stick it to that rock over there. Then, it Abra with a boosted Electro Ball. It should be really powerful thanks to the much faster Abra in Trick Room," I said with a sly smile.

Galvantula gave me a nod to show that he agreed with me and he raised his two forelegs and brought them close together. They moved back and forth rapidly, given the impression of a knitting spider. Within just a few seconds I could see the net forming and I nodded to show it was the best time to fire at the pre-occupied Ground type Pokemon. After he hurled the sticky net at Baltoy, I could see him began to make a small ball of cackling blue electricity from his anntenae. The sphere slowly began to increase in size until it was at quite a large size, then, without warning, it shot towards Abra at a dangerously fast speed. Trick Room only helped speed up the attack.

"Alright Powerglide. Now use Silver Wind and hit the Abra again. We almost got it where we want it." Cameron watched his Togekiss closely perform its attacks.

Rising above the ground, it looked at Abra and readied itself to flap its wings strong enough to create powerful gusts covered with silver sparks of light. When it began to flap its wings, crescent-shaped silver pieces of gust made its way swiftly towards Abra, creating a small dust cloud that covered Abra in its sleep.

"Well that was fun now was it?" Alpha said while watching the other battle in front of him--Cameron and his Abra was behind Alpha.

Defenseless, the yellow Psi Pokemon slept peacefully, making itself vulnerable to attacks.

"Okay Powerglide, use Shadow Ball now." I called out. "I'm going to throw this Parkball at it. This should be all we need." I reached into my bag and pulled out a green and brown Parkball. It wasn't the strongest Pokeball the Park had to offer, but it was more than enough to do the job I needed here.

Powerglide circled the Abra twice. After she found a good stop to strike, she began charging a ball of black energy. The ball grew bigger and bigger each second. I could see sparks of electricty come off the ball. When it was about the size of a volleyball, she launched it at the sleeping Psi Pokemon. As soon as the attack was going to hit, I threw my Parkball at the Abra. I watched the ball soar across the field, just seconds behind the Shadow Ball.

    Ranger Ataro

    ---

All of these were in a rush. One second, I received a call from Headquarters that a replacement was urgently required at Meteor Valley, and the next moment, I had already gotten to this area. Apparently, the ranger had something important cropped up last minute, and the trainers were in the middle of a battle. Still, I hoped I didn't miss anything though. After all, battles were my favorite part of the Park.

Once I reached the battle field, I had noticed that it was a double tag battle. The trainers I was in charged of owned the Ludicolo and Galvantula, while the Pokemon that were opposite of them were most probably the wild Pokemon. There was an Abra, which had managed to duplicate several copies of itself across field, made possible by the usage of Double Team, although it seemed to be quite uncomfortable with occasional electrical surges through its body. Beside it, was a Baltoy, whom had glitters and stars sparkling around it, as well as a thin veiled layer of protective surface slowly enveloping it. I recognized that defensive move as Cosmic Power.

I looked at the trainer on the right whom seemed lost, and conflicted in thoughts. After a while, he raised his head back up and gave his commands to his Pokemon. "Taco, use Ice Ball. A mix of Ice Beam and Energy Ball. Fire an Energy Ball towards Baltoy however fire an Ice Beam to surround the ball, more like a coat. Then be prepared for anything to strike," he said.

From the nickname of the Pokemon, I had recognized the trainer as Joe, the trainer that owns the Ludicolo, nicknamed Taco. From my experieces, I knew Ice Ball was a legit move, being a specialty of the Walrein family. The attack was basically a ball of ice, but each consecutive time it is used, the ball grows bigger, and thus stronger as well. Joe was probably trying an alternative version of Ice Ball, since Ludicolo can't learn it, but by using Ice Beam and Energy Ball instead, it was a replicate attack.

At the same time, the trainer on Joe's left started to voice out his command as well. "Okay, Spidey. That Baltoy is looking to be rather tricky so use Spider Web to stick it to that rock over there. Then, hit Abra with a boosted Electro Ball. It should be really powerful thanks to the much faster Abra in Trick Room," Jay said, while smiling deviously.

From my perspective, it was quite a good combination between the two trainers. By using Spider Web, it would be able to render Baltoy immobile, while getting hit by the Ice Ball. This is all possible because of the twisted dimensions from the effects of Trick Room. However ... they needed to remember that Abra and Baltoy were naturally slower than their Pokemon and thus, are now faster during the effects of Trick Room.

I continued to watch, as Ludicolo almost fired its attack first but was suddenly slowed down instead. The image of the movement was almost indescribable; it seemed as if Ludicolo was being restrained at the very last moment. During the gap of time, Abra suddenly moved ahead of time and managed to strike first. I watched carefully as it made its attack, but just as it was giving off a glow of flash, it was suddenly stopped short by the sudden electrocution from the paralysis. However, that was not the end of it. Abra's clones put themselves to work, as they carried out their owner's attack, all of them disappearing into invisible particles all of a sudden. It was Teleport.

As the Abra clones continue to vanish and appear at various positions of the battle field randomly, Baltoy started to speed towards the Ludicolo and Galvantula at an amazing speed. Due to the distance to reach them though, it seemed to have allowed the electric spider to perform its attack and it quickly shot out a sticky substance from its mouth. The attack was similar to that of a String Shot, except that once it was exposed into the air, it exploded into a huge web instead and was flung towards the incoming Baltoy. At this moment however, just as Baltoy was about to be captured by the Spider Web, a teleporting clone suddenly appeared in front of Baltoy and vanished along with Baltoy. The Spider Web missed its target and was flung onto a nearby rock instead.

The Abra clones and Baltoy were completely in synchronization now, as they zapped around the battle field at invincible speed, while heading towards the Ludicolo. Just as its trainer commanded, the Ludicolo quickly got to work by trying to aim an Energy Ball at its target. I assumed the move after that was an Ice Beam, so that it would propel the Energy Ball even further, while freezing it in the process, thus creating Ice Ball. However, Ludicolo seemed to hesitate for a long while. It was completely unable to mark its target down. As it continued to hesitate, the Baltoy had already teleported ahead of them and started to spin its body all of a sudden. From the spinning, a thick purple stream of liquid starts to spill out from Baltoy itself and they were splattered onto both the Ludicolo and Galvantula instead. Once the Toxic attack touched the skin of those two Pokemon, the liquid dissolved into their body immediately as they started to flinch from the sudden pain of being badly poisoned.

Baltoy didn't stop spinning though. It continued to spiral itself, and this time, a magenta psychic wave was released instead. The waves blasted themselves towards the trainer's Pokemon, whom were too shocked to move. However, upon noticing closer, the attack didn't seem to do any damage. Though, they now had a thin veiled layer of surface that coated their body. I wasn't quite sure what that attack was, but judging from Baltoy's attack pattern so far, there was a good chance that it had just used Heal Block.

It teleported away with the help of the Abra clones, but Galvantula was already onto its next attack. The electric spider formed a small ball of yellow electricity that cackled nonstop, and fired it towards the Abra without any warning. Abra on the other hand, was like a sitting duck, because it was still trying to regain its composure from the paralysis earlier. As the attack blasted its way through the field at an astonishing speed, probably heightened by the properties of Electro Ball itself and Trick Room, a decoy appeared suddenly and took the hit for the original Abra. Once the attack connected, the decoy was obliterated completely. Abra struggled to get up, but it seemed to had a bigger difficulty to even move now. Although the decoy had managed to appear in time to cushion the hit for the original Abra, the Electro Ball still seemed to have hit Abra partially, smashing it on its knees, as they were visibly badly bruised now. At the very same time, the teleporting figures of Abra seemed to move slower, while crouching down lower at the same time, grabbing onto their knee with their forehands in pain.

In order to regain control of the battle, they would have to find a way to fight off or withstand the effects of Toxic, while also getting rid of Abra's Double Team at the same time. I had really hoped they had some kind of strategy in mind.

Alpha began to shuffle nervously and I saw him glance at his wrist watch once or twice. Then he withdrew a small black mobile phone and began to input digits using his fingers. He started to say something to us, but the Baltoy started making hissing noises and I was forced to avert my attention back t the battle. It looked as though Joe hadn't even noticed Alpha say a thing and he was saying something to His Ludicolo-- presumably ordering an attack.

"Taco, use Ice Ball. A mix of Ice Beam and Energy Ball. Fire an Energy Ball towards Baltoy however fire an Ice Beam to surround the ball, more like a coat. Then be prepared for anything to strike," Joe said. Ludicolo gave a little jingle with its backside and I couldn't help but cringe as the crazy brochacho created a bright green ball of energy before itself, then, shooting powerful beams of ice at it, slowly freezing over the shape until all that remained was a large ball of levitating ice.

    "Sweet..." I muttered.

Now it was Galvantula's turn to shine. As he began to attack I stared oddly at the large electrric spider. It seemed to be rooted to the spot-- not moving at all for some reason. No, wait, he was moving, but thanks to that Trick Room he was moving so slow he could hardly do anything. This was bad news. I spared a quick glance at the slowest opponent, Baltoy. Thanks to Trick Room this slow ancient rock would become insanely fast, as with Abra, albeit to a lesser extent. Baltoy started off by glowing a dark hue and within seconds thousands of mini baltoys had appeared alongside it. Simultaneously, they all began to spin and charge around in erratic directions and I started to get a bit antsy. Then I saw the Abra do likewise just as Galvantula's ball of sticky webbing shot forward. It was heading straight towards the head Abra, but a nasty clone teleported in the way and got struck by it.

    "Crap!"

Next came Galvantula's Electric Ball but it too was blocked by a clone, except luckily enough for me it sent sparks flying off in all directions giving me a broad smile. "Excellent," I said desperate;y as the sparks hit another Abra who cringed with paralysis. Aha! This must be the real one because the clones aren't paralysed.

"Okay, Galvantula, let's try use our Super Effective attacks... Start thing off with a Bug Buzz, the loud attack should be able to hit those annoying clones no matter where they go and hopefully Ludicolo's mud barrier from earlier is still intact and will protect him. Afterwards, I want you to use Sucker Punch on that Abra. Because this is an additional priority move it will allow you to strike first and smack that no-good Psychic type hard, regardless of Trick Room. Think you can manage that, buddy?"

Galvantula's ears pricked an I saw his mouth turn into a slight line as he sucked on his gums, preparing the Bug Buzz attack. I warned Joe and our new ranger, whom I hadn't noticed until just then, and advised them to be prepared to block their ears. I could tell that galvantula sure was angry from earlier so perhaps his attacks would be even stronger.

    BP #4 (Bumblebee)
    Ranger Ataro

    ---

Suddenly, I recalled that I also had another message that I had acknowledged. There was another trainer called Bumblebee, whom also had the same ranger. I agreed to take over this trainer as well since they were in the same area pretty much. Regardless, it was pretty awkward for me to jump from one side to another back and forth, when these trainers seemed to have some disagreements with each other, or so I had noticed. However, a funny thought struck me. I decided to use a hologram of myself to ranger Bumblebee's expedition instead.

I had a couple of options to choose from. I could use my Ditto to Transform into myself. Sure, that would be hard, but we could always give it a shot. Alternatively, I can use my Snorlax to become Bumblebee's ranger. That was not only funny, but creative. After all, my Snorlax had actually took English classes before and was able to speak a couple of simple words. If it couldn't speak a certain word, it could write instead. My Snorlax was pretty unique and bizarre in the sense that he studied extensively on human languages. Perhaps it was the influences from me, and he wanted to communicate better with me, that he started picking up the language. Though, he still preferred to speak Pokemon language rather than human language.

I took out Snorlax's Pokeball and released it. With a burst of red flash, the silhouette of a large Pokemon appeared and once the light was gone, it revealed a jolly-looking Snorlax. It jumped slightly and landed with a soft bounce, then calling out its name to acknowledge me. "Listen Snorlax, I need your help. There is another trainer to the right of us," I said, while pointing towards a trainer that was commanding his Togekiss. "You have took English classes before so I think you would be fine. You don't have to do anything much, but simply guide our trainer along the courses of the Park, as well as watch out for any of his behavior. If anything important does crop up, simply call for me using this cellphone," I said, as I took out a spare cellphone from my messenger bag to pass it over to him.

He nodded attentively and took the phone from me. He didn't seem to mind the chore, but in fact, looked quite excited. Snorlax had been with me for quite some time now, and he had always seemed to be interested in the things that humans do. Especially ... eating. I watched as he turned around and walked towards Cameron confidently, while I continued to look on worriedly. I had only hoped nothing major cropped up.

    ---

    BP #4 (Bumblebee)
    Ranger Snorlax

Heh, it was finally my turn to try out this job. I'm almost definite all of the other Pokemon will envy me for being able to take on such a responsibility. From what Ataro had told me, this trainer went by the name of Cameron. Hmm ... sounds like a camera. I continued to walk towards my trainer. Once I had finally reached the seemingly short but actually long distance, I quickly sat down and started panting. I didn't even do anything yet, and I was already this tired. Heck, I could even stop for a quick lunch... Wait no, I shouldn't disappoint Ataro since he has given me such a great responsibility.

"Okay Powerglide, use Shadow Ball now," called out Cameron. "I'm going to throw this Parkball at it. This should be all we need."

After saying that, to which I started to wonder what sort of possible name could be Powerglide, he reached into his bag and pulled out a green and brown sphere. It was a Park Ball. I then got my answer as I saw the Togekiss starting to circle the Abra twice. Seriously ... what an awful name. Thank goodness Ataro didn't like naming his Pokemon. After a while, the Togekiss began charging a ball of black energy, as if she had finally found a good time to strike. I was completely skeptical. What a dumb Togekiss. The Abra was asleep, and she still had to think about a good spot to attack. Dumb trainer too, probably. Once the Shadow Ball was charged enough, she threw the ball towards the Abra.

At the same time, the trainer had flung his Park Ball at the Abra, probably hoping to capture the Abra immediately after it is hit with Shadow Ball, to prevent any chances of it escaping or trying to recover somehow. The hollow orb of energy blasted itself towards Abra, while the wild Pokemon sat there like a sitting duck. What a useless Abra. I could take a Shadow Ball to my face and not even flinch at all. Well I suppose, the Abra didn't even flinch. I watched as the Park Ball struck Abra and enveloped it within. The Pokemon didn't seem to put up much of a struggle as it locked in just one shake. I stood up and walked over to the Park Ball and picked it up. I swore this must have been looked like I was hungry and trying to swallow the Park Ball.

Once I took it up, I looked over to Cameron whom was noticeably too shocked for words. I smiled and pointed over towards Ataro, whom was on the field towards our far left. While he turned and looked, I walked over and started shaking his hands earnestly.

"Taco, use Ice Ball. A mix of Ice Beam and Energy Ball. Fire an Energy Ball towards Baltoy however fire an Ice Beam to surround the ball, more like a coat. Then be prepared for anything to strike," Joe ordered his Ludicolo.

Ludicolo quickly opened his mouth and started to produce a large green ball when suddenly strained by an unknown force. Joe quickly glanced around until he remembered that there was a Trick Room up, an invisible room that makes slower Pokemon move faster than quicker Pokemon. It didn't look like Ludicolo was going to move any time soon.

On the other side of the field, Joe noticed one of the small Abra's glow in a white coat. However just as the small Abra was about to move a sudden jolt of electricity surged through it's body. However the other copies of Abra continued with the move of the owner. Suddenly all of the Abra copies disappeared out of sight.

However moments later the Abra Clones started to reappear in different place, scatter across the battle ground. That wasn't Joe's problem. Whilst Joe was focusing on Abra Clones disappearing, Baltoy started to spin around and direct his attack towards Ludicolo. However Galvantula fired a large silk web towards the spinning Baltoy. Just as the large Silk Web was about it hit, a small Abra appeared right before the Baltoy. It was obviously a decoy Abra. After nearly getting hit, Baltoy span around and returned to it's normal position.

Ludicolo now tried to force his attack through however had some difficulty. Taco looked very hesitant when to fire off the attack, and when your opponent is moving at the speed like Baltoy, it is going to be hard to hit. Finally Ludicolo managed to fire off the Energy Ball towards the direction of Baltoy. However Baltoy quickly teleported to evade the powerful Energy Ball and started to spin around. Joe looked on and wondered what this attack was, however as soon as he saw a dark purple liquid being splattered towards Taco and Galvantula feet. That was a move called Toxic.

Joe had an urge to heal Taco right away however as soon as he got close to Taco, Baltoy continued to spin around producing a white scent that gently floated towards the two Pokemon. The sent dissolved into their bodies and a feint light cream coat covered them. That was Heal Block, now Joe couldn't heal Taco.

A lot of ideas went spinning through Joe's mind. One, repeat the same move, maybe this time you will get lucky. Two, get closer to Baltoy so the move cannot miss. Three, use a new Pokemon and finally finish this battle.

As those ideas floated through Joe's mind, Jay was having a bit of trouble with Abra. Then Joe had an burst of an idea.

"Taco, I want you to get close to Baltoy and use Ice Ball again, then when you done that use Surf and freeze it with Ice Beam, should form a great shield for a while"

I looked down at the Parkball that was now laying motionless. I wasn't too shocked that I captured it since the Abra wasn't that strong, but I did want more of a battle. However, what I was shocked about was that a gigantic Snorlax was standing where Ragna once stood. What kind of Park is this. If they let a Snorlax take me through, maybe I could get away with taking more than three Pokemon. Or I could easily escape and go on my own run solo, there was no way this Snorlax could catch up to me. Though, something about this Snorlax made me think that this run was about to get interesting.

Snorlax extended his large paw towards me, waiting for me to shake it. I was kind of nervous that he'd squeeze my hand off, but I didn't want to be rude, so I shook his paw. Surprisingly, he didn't squeeze hard at all. In fact, his skin was so soft I wanted to just keep rubbing it. I had half a mind to just steal this Snorlax and use his hands as pillows.

"Well, since you're now my Ranger," I said, pausing. I was still shocked that he was my ranger, but I continued. "...where shall we go now? I will put in this Zorua disk again, it has to work. Also, can you carry me?" While I waited for a response, I put in and played the Zorua disk and looked around for any signs of one. If my luck was as good as I thought, one would be coming very soon. If not, something bad was going to happen to this area.

    Ranger Snorlax

As I waited for him to shake my hand, I noticed there was the faintest look of skepticism in him. He seemed to have doubted my abilities as a professional ranger. For goodness sake, I've actually went through a ranger test conducted by professionals. Seriously, humans. Well, or should I say I accompanied Ataro on the ranger test. It's the same anyway. If he is going to underestimate me at any point, I would have him pay anyway. That thought was quite amusing actually.

Eventually, he raised his hand nervously to shake mine, as if afraid that I'd hurt him or something. Once we made contact, I tried to take back my arm but he kept holding onto my paws instead. What in the world? This guy is the most stupid and bizarre trainer ever. I forcefully took back my arm, showing a slight bit of displeasure in his awkward attitude.

"Well, since you're now my Ranger," he said, pausing. He seemed to have been too shocked for words still, but managed to choke out, "... where shall we go now? I will put in this Zorua disk again, it has to work. Also, can you carry me?"

Once he finished, he proceeded to take out something from his backpack. I had recognized it as a Voice Disk. An item created to dupe Pokemon into appearing. He then played the disk and it started to sound a deafening cry. I couldn't recognize the owner of the cry but managed to spot the word 'Zorua' scribbled on the disk. He then started looking around wildly, as if trying to spot for a Zorua just like that.

The first thing that came to my thought was how annoying this trainer was. He seemed to have doubted my capabilities, and actually asked me to carry him. Heck, I don't even know him that well yet. I wasn't about to agree that easily, and decided to speak to his Togekiss instead.

    "Hey Powerglide! Over here!"

I called out to the Togekiss, whom turned around and looked at me. She seemed rather peaceful and serene, while bowing down to acknowledge me. I wanted to annoy my trainer and I knew just the way to do it.

"Are you tired? Want to take a break by settling down on my head? I can ride you along," I asked politely. Somehow, I started to blush from what I said. There was something about that sentence that just sounded really bizarre.

She nodded elegantly and proceeded to glide over and settled down on my head instead. I then pretended to ignore Cameron as I walked away with Togekiss; resting on my head. I figured it was okay, since I was still doing my job as Ataro asked anyway, which was leading my trainer around the Park. As we walked on, I tried to peep at Cameron by seeing what was he doing. I was really amused at this trainer and it was funny what I was doing to him as well. I started to chuckle deviously, while Togekiss remained nonchalant about the whole incident. I assumed she was just a really calm Pokemon and wasn't affected by emotions easily, since I did read from his data from Ataro that Togekiss' nature was Calm. That probably had some level of relevance.

Suddenly, I heard a mumble from behind my back. Togekiss had taken flight as well. I quickly spun around with my huge body weight and saw my stupid trainer had apparently angered a Deino. I noticed that the Deino's feet was bruised red; Cameron must have stepped on its tail somehow. Deino continued to approach Cameron, while looking pissed off. Meanwhile, Togekiss had already gotten in front of Cameron; she was determined to protect her trainer. I managed to get behind Cameron, so that I could watch the entire battle happening. Pretty mean, but I had fun doing it.

Just as I was about to watch a Deino versus Togekiss battle, I quickly tapped on Cameron's shoulders with my paws to warn him. ... Deino was not alone. As the entire wall started to shatter, the hole that Deino originally came out from, started to enlarge from the sudden shatter. This was followed with a huge crashing sound and a thick dust cloud started to cloud the area. Once the dust cleared, Dweilous and Hydreigon was revealed, standing in front of Deino.

"Great, you just annoyed Hydreigon's family, dimwit!"

Ranger Snorlax looked at me weird as if I were crazy. He didn't even answer my question. Instead, he had the nerve to let Powerglide rest on him instead of me. I backed up angrily, about to throw a fit when I noticed I had stepped on something. I lifted my foot and saw another black foot underneath.

"Oh shit..." I thought to myself, "this can't be good." I slowly turned around and saw a small black Dragon Pokemon. This particular type of Pokemon, and its family members, weren't quite known to be friendly Pokemon. In fact, they were known to be quite destrutive. Then, I remembered something that was going to save me from this Pokemon, it was blind. This Pokemon couldn't see anything, and I was going to use that to my advantage.

The small Deino launched forward, biting like crazy as I quickly ran out of the way. "If we're quite enough, we can get out of here without it noticing." I whispered to Snorlax, Shadow and Powerglide. I turned my back to the Dark-Dragon Pokemon and began to walk away. It was then that I heard a loud shattering sound and new it couldn't be anything good. Snorlax tapped me on the shoulder and pointed behind me. I already knew what I was up against. Slowly, I turned around and saw Zweilous and Hydreigon. This Pokemon was known to be extremely violent so I knew we wouldn't get out of this that easily. Then, I had an idea... an idea to get onto Snorlax. I started screaming.

"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!" I cried out. I ran behind Snorlax and started climbing on his back. "What the flip are we going to do. You're the Ranger, do something. Save me" I shouted, making sure I was tightly secured on his back. I wasn't the least bit scared, but I had to play it off so I could ride Snorlax.

"Fine, don't do anything." I said to Snorlax. "I can see good from up here. You have a nice view. We should go over there next." Hydreigon was just angered more when it saw that I was ignoring it. "Oh, right." I pulled out three Pokedolls and tossed them in front of the three Dragon Pokemon. I aslo quickly took out my camera and snapped a photo of the trio.

"Shadow, use Smog attack." I called out. "Make it so that they can't see us escape. Then make a run for it Snorlax, giddyup." I didn't turn off my Zorua disk in hopes that one would come our way.

I shifted my concentration back to the battle. I trusted Snorlax enough with the responsibility anyway. The trainers seemed to have taken in stride of the pessimistic battle scenario quite nicely, as they remained optimistic. Jay gave his command first, and asked his Galvantula to strike with a Bug Buzz instead. He made a good point; the attack was a sound-based attack which would affect everyone on the field. That would be able to get rid of the clones effectively. He also commanded his Pokemon to strike with Sucker Punch. While it is a good move choice for striking first on priority, it was also relatively risky since it would fail if Abra didn't use an attacking move instead.

At the same time, Joe suddenly flinched, as if a thought had struck him. He quickly ordered his Pokemon once he snapped out of his thoughts, "Taco, I want you to get close to Baltoy and use Ice Ball again, then when you've done that, use Surf and freeze it with Ice Beam, should form a great shield for a while."

I was a little confused about his choice of moves however. What made him so sure the wild Pokemon wanted to stay? If he had managed to get the shield up, heck, the wild Pokemon might think it's their perfect chance to escape instead. A little weird, but it's possible. Then again, all of the Pokemon that had appeared in the Park before showed no signs of trying to escape. In fact, it was mostly the trainers that were trying to run away from there instead. Amusing, but true. While they were battling, I took into consideration of Jay's advice and decided to call upon my Kangaskhan instead.

I walked up towards the trainers and said, "I will have my Kangaskhan protect us from the effects of that Bug Buzz," and released a Pokeball into the air. My Kangaskhan appeared and I told her to perform a Safeguard attack, to which she obeyed and started glowing in a neon green color. As she continued to give off that light, a barrier-like material started to develop from within Kangaskhan. Soon, it expanded huge enough that it looked like a semi-circular globe, which protected us from any sound-based moves that would potentially cause us any discomfort.

I studied the field movement again, as the original invisible dimensional room started to appear once again, but only for a short moment before the Pokemon moves. Instead of Ludicolo moving first, then followed by Galvantula, the Trick Room reversed the dimensions and allowed the slower Pokemons to move first. Abra struggled to move, and it managed to fight off the paralysis this time. It seemed to have preferred attacking from a distance, as it once again struck its opponent without getting in close. However, its opponent didn't seem to think so. Followings its trainer's command, the Ludicolo ran towards the Pokemon on Abra's side, Baltoy, and started to fire the same green attack yet again, Energy Ball. Once the ball was completely formed, it remained inside Ludicolo's mouth as an icy blue form started to take shape behind the neon green orb. At the same time, Abra's eyes started to glow in a light blue color.

Almost immediately, Ludicolo was surrounded by the exact same blue color, except it seemed to have hurt Ludicolo instead. That wasn't the end of it, as Ludicolo started to get lifted off the ground. Even though Abra might be small-sized, its psychic powers were not a joke. The power of its mental strength was witnessed by us, as it lifted the Ludicolo high into the air without any sign of difficulty at all. Taking advantage of the situation, Baltoy started to follow up Abra's Psychic with a Psybeam. The attack blasted out from Baltoy's sudden spinning and a multicolored beam was fired towards Galvantula.

However, Galvantula was one step ahead of Baltoy and had already released its attack. From the twitching of its ear, it produced a seemingly deafening blast of sound-based attack, which was so strong that it was almost visible to the naked eye itself. It resembled green sound waves, like those that you would be able to visualize on a book. The attack blasted the Psybeam back, except almost. The beam-like attack from Baltoy managed to get obliterated in the Bug Buzz, but a stream of it still managed to get through and struck Galvantula by its right ear. It didn't seemed to have affect Galvantula as much as it seemed though, because Baltoy was on the other half of the receiving end. It flew back from the impact of the Bug Buzz, especially by a super effective attack even.

Due to the wide range of the attack, Abra was visibly affected by it as well as the clones all started to disappear immediately as the deafening sound traveled across the field. Abra wasn't affected by it however; it seemed that the clones had managed to soak up the attack completely before they disappeared. It continued to restrain Ludicolo with its Psychic, preventing it from doing any attack other than struggle desperately in midair. Galvantula was not taking any of this anymore however. It seemed to have broke through the effects of Trick Room just for a bit and struck Abra by vanishing and appearing suddenly, with its claws that had dark energy charged up within.

Abra lost its concentration immediately, and the Psychic aura disappeared quickly, which left Ludicolo falling down desperately. It pummeled itself onto the ground, but still managed to get up, albeit visibly taking a good amount of damage already. The attack that it had charged up earlier vanished from the sudden crash as well, but it didn't hesitate to perform its next attack. Like what its trainer commanded, it quickly took advantage of the situation that its opponents were unable to attack since they had been just attacked, and raised its arms up. As if magically, a huge wave of Surf started to crash down towards the battle field violently. Just as it was about to hit the Abra and Baltoy, it turned into a humongous ice sculpture instead, as if frozen in time. While seemingly useless, it was a good form of shield for both sides. I was still confused however, because that simply meant both sides couldn't attack each other at all. I wondered what my trainers had in mind.

Once they finished attacking, I noticed that Ludicolo and Galvantula started flinching in pain again, while their faces were not looking good at all. The effects of Toxic is slowly taking its toll on them. I started to reflect on how Ludicolo's attacks didn't manage to hit Abra. It was actually a form of relief. Judging from the Abra's current state of health, if that Ice Ball really did connect and manage to strike Abra, it might have been a potential finishing move instead, which I'm sure Jay doesn't want that to happen.

    Ranger Snorlax

    ---

"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!" He cried out like a bitch. What a stupid person. He started running away like some little coward and actually started climbing behind me without my permission. I would have threw him miles away with my strong body strength if we weren't supposed to hurt out trainers. He started whining like some bitch, which reminded me of a certain trainer named Near, "What the flip are we going to do. You're the Ranger, do something. Save me!" He continued to scream meekly, but somehow settled himself comfortably on my shoulder. ... Something tells me he is pretending.

"Fine, don't do anything," he said suddenly, before I could even respond anything. "I can see good from up here. You have a nice view. We should go over there next," he continued to say, as if he was ignoring the Hydreigon.

Not cool. Not cool at all. I knew Hydreigon were incredibly violent Pokemon and they were not good to be trifled with at all. It seemed even more mad now; it must have thought that Cameron was taunting it. "Oh, right!" Cameron suddenly exclaimed, and pulled out three Pokedolls while still on my shoulder, and tossed them in front of the three Dragon Pokemon. Then, I heard a camera snap sound as I saw a camera flash was made, which seemed to have angered the Deino family even more. Though, once they saw the Pokedoll, they were immediately distracted like fools - I never understood how they were so gullible.

Instead of running away like most wild Pokemon with the Pokedoll, they decided to stay. I started to worry; did the Pokedolls not work? I wasn't sure if this stupid trainer had the capabilities to handle all three of them, and I surely don't want to fight them on an empty stomach. Suddenly, as if they heard my thought, they started to gnaw on the Pokedoll like starved cannibals. They ripped their teeths into the Pokedoll and started tearing it apart; they were too distracted to even notice us.

"Shadow, use Smog attack," Cameron called out. "Make it so that they can't see us escape. Then make a run for it Snorlax, giddyup," he commanded me. I was starting to get annoyed. Not only was this trainer bitchy, he was such a bossy little prick. Not to mention stupid. The wild Pokemon were much too distracted to notice us, why did he even have to use Smog still? Oh well, a backup I guess. I looked on boringly as his Houndoom let loose a gas attack which camouflaged everything in sight, while I walked off with him on my shoulder slowly. Whatever he wanted me to do, I made sure to do the exact opposite. Heck, I would have just shuffle him down my shoulder, but for the safety of the trainers that I'm in charged of, I guess.

As we continued walking around in Meteor Valleys, I started to think this trainer was not that bad after all. He seemed as if he was cowardly, but he was actually a pretty skillful Park adventurer. He seemed to know the tips and tricks to work around the Park and all of that. Still, I liked annoying this guy. It was funny to see him mad. Suddenly, I heard the sound of water crashing down onto the ground. Could it be a waterfall? We were reaching a bent, and we would soon find out. As we walked around the bent, it was exactly what I had expected. There it was, a huge waterfall. The area here was nothing more than a small room, and it seemed the only way to continue from here would be to scale the waterfalls.

I remembered seeing a Slowbro on Cameron's data, so I had a feeling that he would use the Slowbro's ability to scale it instead. However, I had no idea how he was going to bring me along. I was not fat. I do not think I am fat. I like to think I am just large, or rather, I'm really just big-built. I started to frown at the thought of people calling me fat, but it was probably me being too sensitive. I decided to annoy my trainer even more by taking a break at this place. It was quite a good place to meditate in fact, or at least take a nap. I shuffled Cameron down with my other arm, as he fell onto the ground with a resounding thud, while I took my rest on the ground by settling myself down against the cave wall.

Just as I was about to ready myself against Cameron's whining again, we were interrupted by the sudden appearance of a Pokemon. The fox-like Pokemon appeared, it was almost the complete opposite of me in terms of size and color. It had a dark slate-gray skin tone and was ridiculously small, unlike me whom was much larger and more powerful. I looked at Cameron with my dopey eyes, and grunted lazily. The Voice Disk had worked, much to my disappointment. Suddenly, the Zorua's eyes started to glow light blue, and it jumped into the air while spinning its body. Geez, what a show off.

After that, its body started to glow in a pink hue and white light enveloped it. Once the light cleared, a Snorlax was revealed. A Snorlax. A complete replica of me. It had used its special ability, Illusion. I continued to enjoy myself with the serene sound of water crashing down, while the echoes resonated against the caves' walls. An exciting battle was about to start.

Ataro walked up towards us and released a Pokeball. "I will have my Kangaskhan protect us from the effects of that Bug Buzz," he said, as he hurled the regular red-and-white ball into the air and there was a flash of bright red light. A broad shape began to materialise before him and I recognised the maternal Pokemon, Kangaskhan.

"Kanga!" the large mothering Pokemon roared and I saw her body quiver a little as a lime green sphere erupted from her mouth and steadily began to expand, engulfing all four of us within seconds. Safegaurd was a pretty cool move and could really help us out later on; if only I had thought of it, I thought with a smile. Joe gave a feeble cough to clear his throat and then he turned his attention towards his Ludicolo. "Taco, I want you to get close to Baltoy and use Ice Ball again, then when you've done that, use Surf and freeze it with Ice Beam, should form a great shield for a while."

Ludicolo's mouth tore open and I could see a dark pulsing ball of energy begin to form. And, as I stood there swuinting, I could see a thin blue ball appearing and merging with it behind the first green ball. Ludicolo was moving rather slow thanks to Trick Room so I decided it was best to take this opportunity to look at Abra and I gulped. Its chestnut-coloured eyes had soon turned into a faint purple hue. This same colour swallowed up the Ludicolo and to my surprise, forced the dancing Pokemon into the air, suspended in motion. I sure was surprised at what this Abra was capable of and this made me want it even more. I could sense the opportunity to try and capture this Psychic Pokemon drawing closer. Hopefully I could seize this opportunity.

A bright pink beam shot past my face and hit the trapped Ludicolo. "Oh hells no," I said, spying the manipulative Baltoy. "Galvantula, take the opportunity to strike that Baltoy with your Bug Buzz! Then, if you can, try and hit Abra." Galvantula began to make loud chirping noises-- well I could only assume that's what he was doing as the Safegaurd was blocking out almost all sound for us. I could only hear what the humans were saying now because they were inside the bubble aswell. As I looked, I could've sword that I seen green waves, almost invisible to the naked eye, shoot forward and the Baltoy was sent knocking backwards. "Yes!" I cheered. "Now, Sucker Punch on the Abra!" I commanded. Although Galvantula was now really slow, Sucker Punch made him rather speedy momentarily and he disappeared and appeared right above Abra. He dropped down onto the small Psychic and gave it two quick slashes with its dark glowing paws. Then, it teleported back to near me and I gave him a quick pat on the head.

"Abra sure looks really weak now,2 I noted. Galvantula winced a little and I released the poison must really be affecting him now. "Come on back, Spidey. You did excellently." There was a purple ray of light, that engulfed the spider Pokemon and sucked him inside his very own Pokeball. I placed it in my pocket and withdrew another ball, this one was a Hyper Ball. "Hopefully Abra wants to join us," I said crossing my fingers and tossing the ball. It sailed through the air towards the little humanoid. "Come on.."

We had successfully escaped the Deino family. For a second I wasn't sure if those Pokedolls had worked or not, which was odd since they usually did. Perhaps these Pokémon were just extremely brutal that they had no affect on them. Whatever the reason was, I was glad they didn't see us escape because I knew they surely wouldn't have just let us walked freely, not after what I did to Deino. I didn't mean to, and I felt bad for not apologizing to it. I had a Hydreigon back at home, and although he wasn't my nicest Pokémon, I had trained him to be a bit more sociable. I still had to watch out when he was around other people, though he wouldn’t do anything without something having being done to him first. I looked back to make sure they weren’t following us, and sighed with relief when I didn’t see them following us. I just sighed as we continued walking. Not long after leaving those Dragon Pokémon, we came across a waterfall. I had heard of one being here, but I didn’t think it was true. Snorlax rudely tossed my off of his shoulders, causing me to fall on the ground hard. I didn’t get mad though since I was the one who rudely jumped on his shoulders. I kind of wanted to do it again, but he looked tired so I refrained myself from climbing on again, despite how exciting it was.

Before I could say anything to him, I heard a familiar cry coming from behind me. My heart started racing as I turned around to face the Pokémon that let out that cry. A cute small black fox-like Pokémon stood before us. This is just what I had been waiting for. Its dark slate grey skin began glowing as it spun several times in the air. I knew what it was doing; I had studied this Pokémon for quite some time. Its small body, in comparison to Snorlax, began growing incredibly fast. Although I couldn’t see the transformation happening, I still amazed me how it was able to create illusions like that. When the light faded we saw that it had transformed completely into Snorlax. It was the same size, color, even had the same features which I found to be incredibly amazing. The things I could do with this Zorua started crossing my mind, but I pushed them aside as I remembered how I was playing this. I was going to apply a status condition first before going in for the capture. I had to make sure this was a success.

“Alright Powerglide, this is what we came here for.” I said, being more serious now. I finally had my chance to capture this Pokémon, and I was sure not going to mess this up. “Okay, we’re going with a status inflicting combo. Number five should work well here. I want you to use Extremespeed on it. It may look large, but it’s not. It’s just an illusion. It still has the same defenses and it can only use the moves it knows. I’m not sure how strong its real defenses are, but it’s okay because you’re not using that to get damage on it. I want you to use Thunder Wave right in front of you then protect yourself with Safeguard. Once Safeguard is up go though the Thunder Wave attack and slam into Zorua. If you do it the way we practiced, you won’t get paralyzed. It should gain paralysis right as you make impact. However, as soon as you do be prepared for another transformation because these things sure are tricky as hell.” Powerglide wasn’t that good with physical moves. She could use them, but she wasn’t that well trained in physical moves as she was with special attack moves so they weren’t that strong. Shadow moved over and sat next to Snorlax as he watched the battle about to begin.

Powerglide looked at the Zorualax, waiting for it to make a move. Zorualax appeared to be doing the same thing. It looked at both Powerglide and me. “Fine then, we’ll start this off. Do it Powerglide!” Power glide created a small ball of electricity in front of her. The small greenish electric ball floated in front of her as she began the next step, which was to get Safeguard up and running. With her doing that, my plan could finally be put into action. She was pretty good at performing moves like this, so I didn’t worry about it failing. I knew it could fail, but I had confidence that she’d do her best, after all, this wasn’t the first time she was using this combination.

She crossed her wings and her body began shining a lime green color. She then proceeded by spinning rapidly in circles, forming two light lime-green vortexes as the green energy began to sparkle off her body. I wasn’t going to be able to see if anything worked because of how fast she was going to be going, but I had confidence she would do fine. In an instant, she flew straight into the Thunder Wave she had created. If it worked properly, the Thunder Wave would stick to the Safeguard while she shot at Zorua. The moment she made contact, the electrical energy would shot into Zorua, paralyzing it. With Safeguard in play, she wouldn’t have to worry about getting paralyzed as well… but that was only if Safeguard was in play. If not, then we were going to have a bit of a problem; though she did learn Heal Bell. I watched as the electric blur zoomed past me and Snorlax.

"Alright Powerglide, this is what we came here for," Cameron said. Unlike before, there was something different in his attitude. Instead of the earlier jovial and seemingly foolish person that I saw, I noticed this trainer in a new light. Just as I had thought, there was another side to him. I became perked up all of a sudden; this was going to be an eyeopener. "Okay, we’re going with a status inflicting combo. Number five should work well here. I want you to use Extremespeed on it. It may look large, but it's not. It’s just an illusion. It still has the same defenses and it can only use the moves it knows. I'm not sure how strong its real defenses are, but it's okay because you're not using that to get damage on it. I want you to use Thunder Wave right in front of you then protect yourself with Safeguard. Once Safeguard is up go though the Thunder Wave attack and slam into Zorua. If you do it the way we practiced, you won’t get paralyzed. It should gain paralysis right as you make impact. However, as soon as you do be prepared for another transformation because these things sure are tricky as hell."

When I heard the command, I became a little worried for them. That sounded like a really complex combo. If it was me, I'd just go straight out with my Mega Punch. My brute force is my specialty. I decided to converse with Cameron's Houndoom sitting beside me, since it was pretty weird of me to ignore another Pokemon's presence when I was a Pokemon myself.

"Hey Shadowpanther, think your friend can handle that combo? That sounded way too complex..." I said, while looking at the intimidating-looking Pokemon.

To my surprise, he replied in a gentle voice; a complete opposite of his fierce facade. "Yeah probably. From the time I've knew Powerglide, she was always excellent at performing just about any complex combos Cameron might dish out. Probably had to do with her nature, just like how I could perform complex combos as well, without much difficulty."

"Oh. At least that's a good thing. If it was me, I'd just Mega Punch my way through..." I started to mumble in some sort of a reply. The Houndoom started to chuckle, and I heard the sound of a Houndoom's laughter for the very first time. It was very unusual ... for a Houndoom.

The Togekiss and Zorua seemed to be in a staring standoff - both of them weren't moving, as if they were waiting for the other half to make the first move first. The silence was broken by Cameron's pitchy voice, "Fine then, we'll start this off. Do it Powerglide!". A small orb of electricity started generating in front of Togekiss, and it continued to float in that position, as if Togekiss was controlling it with her powers. She displayed her impressive prowess to carry out multiple combos and started multitasking, by crossing her wings and two lime green vortexes started to form from the emerald green energy that was sparkling from her body.

In a zip of flash, she took off and charged towards the orb of Thunder Wave, while a glossy coat of Safeguard surrounded her body. As she charged into the orb and emerged out from it, the electrical coils of waves seemed to have paralyzed the Togekiss, as the electric sparks started to cackle loudly around it. However, upon noticing closer, that was not it at all. The electricity cackled around it, as if trapped by some form of static electricity towards the emerald green coating. The Togekiss' wasn't affected by the Thunder Wave at all. She charged herself towards the Zorua. If the improvised attack did manage to connect, not only would Zorua be paralyzed, it would also be hurt from the impact of Togekiss slamming onto it. The crucial thing here was, would it hit?

I watched on, as Togekiss was reaching Zorua within matters of seconds. However, although I started to worry a little for the Zorua, it didn't seemed to be in any state of panic or confusion. It took a strut-like pose, stretching out its forefront legs, and started pointing towards Cameron's Togekiss with 'my' paws and kept on laughing in the process. Oh my... This looked like Taunt. As expected, the usually calm and level-headed Togekiss started to quiver with anger. She was no longer the calm Togekiss that I knew. With an immense rage, she started to curse at the Zorua in the most unfathomable vulgar words and decided to attack head on instead; ignoring her trainer's commands in the process. She decided for herself that she would speed up and blast herself towards the Zorua with a Double Edge instead.

I had no idea if that was what Zorua had wanted. Sure, Togekiss was no longer using Thunder Wave, but Double Edge could be even much more painful. Just as Togekiss was about to crash itself onto the Zorua, the Zorua flashed in a glow of white and multiple copies of itself were suddenly created. Great, I thought, there were more than two of us Snorlax now on the field. The Snorlax copies spreaded themselves through the battle field, and it was impossible to tell which of them was the real one. Well, the real one being in the sense of a Snorlax. I folded my arms, a bit annoyed at the situation, as I started to hear Houndoom's giggles beside me again.

I returned my attention back to the Togekiss, whom had simply crashed through the illusionary copy and sent herself crashing towards the ground. Not only was she hurt from the original effects of Double Edge, she seemed like she had took an extra beating from the impact of the crash landing. This was not looking good.

As I had expected, the Zorua was waiting for us to move first. Powerglide had preformed the combo perfectly, which wasn’t a surprise to me. She was used to performing such complicated moves like this. I was one who always liked to create different convoluted strategies. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn’t, but I never used a complicated move like the one I asked Powerglide to use unless I was positive it would work. I watched as she closed in on the Zorua, the electric blur just sped quickly almost too fast to see. Then, the Zorua did something I should have seen coming. It began taunting Powerglide. At first I didn’t think we had anything to worry about because she was moving way to fast, but then she began slowing down and her body began glowing a bright white. She was using Double Edge. One, she was not strong in using physical moves, and two, the move caused recoil damage.

Zorua then proceeded in using Double Team. As if Taunt was not enough. Powerglide slammed right though an illusion, hurting herself in the process. Any smart Trainer would know to recall their Pokémon when they were under these circumstances. Chances of her listening to me while under the influence of Taunt were slim. I wasn’t much of a risk taker, so I knew I had to recall her before she did something I didn’t want her to do, or worse, before she hurt herself even more.

“Stand down Powerglide!” I said calmly. I didn’t give her a chance to say anything because I knew she’d be angry and try to talk me into letting her battle still. Having her use whatever moves she wanted, like Double Edge was just not going to cut it. I had to give her some time to cool off. I thought carefully about who I was going to bring out next. Mindbender was as strong as they come, but her typing wasn’t good in this battle. Yeah, she could easily take this Zorua, but I didn’t want to risk it. If I was going to use her, it was going to be in the end when I could use her Hypnosis attack to put Zorua to sleep. Terrorsaur was the strongest Pokémon I brought with me, using him in this battle would be overkill. He wasn’t one known to go easy on an opponent, and I couldn’t have him accidently knocking the Illusion Pokémon. Kickback was just like Mindbender, only not as strong yet. Because he wasn’t as strong, that gave me a reason to use him. I didn’t have to worry about him knocking out the little guy. He knew some fighting moves that could do some good damage to Zorua. He also knew moves like Thunder Wave, Toxic, and Yawn, so using him was a pretty smart choice. The last one on my team, and the most logical choice for me to send in was Cybershock. He could easily adapt to the environment and change his type if the time came. He could also easily get rid of the clones Zorua set on the field. Now that I had thought about it, my mind was set, Cybershock was up next.

“Alright Cybershock, you’re up.” I said, tossing his Pokéball in front of me. A small, duck-shaped Pokémon, about three feet tall floated in front of me, scanning the Zorua and its clones. Cybershock’s black and red body began glowing as it interpreted what was going on and an easy strategy to take out the clones. Once it found a move to use, it made several beeping sounds.

“Yup, that’s what I wanted you to do.” I said smiling. I liked when he already knew what I wanted him to do. Since he had a processor inside of him, he could easily think of a plan on moment’s notice. “Use Agility and hit them with Discharge.” I wasn’t sure if it would get the real Zorua, but it would at least take down most of the clones. Cybershock quickly began spinning in a circle at an incredibly fast speed. All you could see was a fast blur. It looked as if Agility were working, but I wasn’t sure. I did know however, that he could use the friction from this to easily charge up and fire Discharge when he was ready. I could only watch and wait to see the outcome. Cybershock definitely could get the job done. He wasn’t one to fall for a Taunt easily, but with this Zorua, you never know.

"Stand down Powerglide!" Cameron said calmly. He didn't allowed his Togekiss any chances to reply so as to prevent the likely disobedience and rebuttal, and somehow forced it out of battle by calling in another Pokemon instead. Cameron seemed to be in deep thoughts now, probably thinking about who he should send next. After a while, he tossed his Pokeball and said, "Alright Cybershock, you're up."

I knew what a Porygon-Z was capable of. After all, Ataro had one of his own as well. These Pokemon were perhaps one of the most intelligent species out there and even though they looked devoid of emotion, it is actually because they're lost in thoughts all the time, counting statistics and numerical formulas. As if to confirm its intelligence, the minute it entered battle, it started studying the Zorua with a focused gaze. Zorua tilted its head, apparently confused at what its foe was doing, but I knew better. It was already scanning for all of the mathematical formula and data that were somehow visible and relevant to it, but these were simply preparations so that it knew what was the exact perfect move choice. After a few seconds, it suddenly started to resonate a resounding beeping sound.

"Yup, that’s what I wanted you to do," Cameron said suddenly. This was when I started to think that Cameron was such a show off. Porygon-Z wasn't a Psychic-type and by no means had any possibility of sharing a telepathy connection with Cameron, so such thought sharing was almost virtually impossible. It was possibly just him trying to sound smart or something. I started to grin deviously from the thought. "Use Agility and hit them with Discharge," he said.

Though, that was a good choice of move. Discharge, being a wide range move, was one of the best choices to use during such situations, as I've read in a certain book written by some guy called Oak or something. The Porygon-Z started to spin itself in a circular motion rapidly; heightening its speed with Agilty.

The moment Zorua saw this, it quickly began pointing towards Porygon-Z and started laughing tauntingly yet again. I looked at Cameron's Porygon-Z, wondering if that Taunt did get through. However, it didn't seemed to be affected by the Taunt at all and continued spinning at an even faster speed. I suddenly remembered that Porygon-Z also had a Calm nature, and such Pokemon aren't easily Taunted by their opponents. The only possibility that I could think of for Togekiss being Taunted would be that she was distracted while performing such a complex combo, thus falling easier to the Taunt. Upon noticing that its Taunt didn't seem to work, it began running towards Zorua. I had no idea what it was planning to do. I suspected that Porygon-Z was too preoccupied as well to suddenly reanalyze the Zorua's movement, as it continued to carry out its trainer's commands.

I was snapped out of my thoughts, when the field lighted a blinding flash of lemon yellow sparks. Porygon-Z had fired its Discharge and like an electricity generator that had just lost control, it released a wild burst of electricity everywhere. The Discharge shattered all of the clones on the field without matters of seconds, and the original Snorlax illusion disappeared without a trace, leaving nothing but a single Zorua running towards Porygon-Z. By the time the Discharge had reached the real Zorua, after shattering through all of the Snorlax clones and the Snorlax illusion, the power of the Discharge was greatly reduced and Zorua took minimal damage from it. The attack had great productivity in the end however, as Porygon-Z now had a clear shot target.

Suddenly, as the Zorua was running, a crimson red telekinesis wave started to appear above its head. It spread towards Porygon-Z and once it touched the target, the waves about Zorua blinked into an even darker shade of red. Just as I expected it to slam itself towards the Porygon-Z by the way it was running, it suddenly did a huge back leap and a white flash enveloped it again. This time, it transformed into the exact same Porygon-Z replica instead. Once it landed back onto the ground, its eyes immediately shone in a luminous blue and a blood-red aura surrounded its duck-like body. It raised its tail high into the air, and the aura around the tail started to get especially concentrated. With a sudden movement of the whip of its tail, the ground starting quaking violently; an intense shock wave was created.

The bright pink and crimson glowing forcefield of energy started to expand from the original aura, and soon, it became a humongous forcefield of violent energy quakes. Without warning, the Zorua blasted the attack, seemingly Night Daze, a signature move of the Zorua species, towards Porygon-Z. Porygon-Z on the other hand seemed to have had anticipate the movement and tried to move to the side to dodge it, but was struck by the wide range of the Night Daze nonetheless. It didn't seemed to have expected the power of the Night Daze to be so devastating. I studied the particular pattern of a red bulls-eye-like wave that appeared and vanish above the Porygon-Z's head occasionally, and realized that Zorua had the exact same thing about it.

I originally didn't recognize what attack that was, the attack that was performed before Illusion was used, but I think I had a rough idea now. I recognized that bulls-eye image; Psych Up. That meant that Zorua had copied Porygon-Z's Download boost, which would explain the magnified intensity of the Night Daze. I looked at the Porygon-Z, whom was obviously more hurt than Zorua at this point. I then looked back at Zorua, whom had transformed into a Porygon-Z. I still didn't get the point of the second illusion. Did Zorua not know that Porygon-Z had already anticipated that ability with its intelligence? Then again, I was not surprised. I was after all, a spectator and I had information of Cameron's team, thus my knowledge was probably more than any of those two added up.

“That was great Cybershock, keep it up,” I called out. Cybershock never ceased to amaze me. I didn’t wait for him to analyze the field this time, though knowing him, he probably already did. “Okay now we’ll start attacking. Start off with Lock-On. Once you’re locked, use Hidden Power, but combine Thunder Wave with it.” All I wanted him to do was create the small brown orbs of energy and attach a small coat of the electrical energy used in Thunder Wave on top. It wasn’t that hard, so someone like Cybershock could definitely pull something like this off without any complications. What I wondered now was what exactly the Zorua was going to do. This thing was tricky as hell, which was one of the reasons I wanted it. I could use a Pokémon of his type to my advantage in a battle. All it needed was a little bit of training; it could even learn a couple of new tricks in the process. With its attitude, I knew training it was going to be difficult, but I've had harder Pokemon to train before so I knew I could do it.

Zorua had now created another illusion. This time it disguised itself as a PorygonZ, the same species as Cybershock. I couldn’t think of a good enough reason for it to use an illusion again, but it did. Perhaps it thought we were stupid and it could still trick us, but that trick was old. Maybe it was the one that was stupid. Or maybe it just didn't think that time, who knows. The good and also bad thing about Zorua’s illusion was that it still kept the same moves. It couldn’t use any of Cybershock’s moves unless it already knew it. Right now, that was a relief, but it would be kind of cool if it could use its opponent’s moves. That would make it so much better that it already was. All I had to do was attack it a little and wait for my chance to capture it. If I timed it right, and this attack worked well, it would be very soon.

Cybershock did not take his eyes off of Zorua. He had been quickly analyzing my plan for the best way to execute it. When he was done, he shot a red beam of light towards Zorua. If that hit, the next move he used would be a success, no matter how many illusions Zorua brought up. After he did that, he would begin creating small brown balls of energy in front of him. At least eight or nine would be created. The size of the balls varied between the sizes of a golf ball, and the size of a baseball. It could be bigger, but that was the usual size range. Once those were created he’d top off the attack my attaching a small electrical charge on the balls. The small charge would then explode on contact, causing the paralysis if used right. That, along with the Hidden Power would do a reasonable amount to damage if everything went as planned. Cybershock’s Hidden Power was Fighting so it would be super effective, plus his special attack was slightly boosted so we had a gain there as well. We didn't really need the boost though because his special attack was already crazy high. If his lock-on landed on Zorua, the next two attacks would hit it and hard hopefully.

"That was great Cybershock, keep it up. Okay, now we'll start attacking. Start off with Lock-On. Once you're locked, use Hidden Power, but combine Thunder Wave with it," instructed Cameron.

Unlike before, Porygon-Z didn't attack immediately after the trainer's commands. It seemed as if it was analyzing a perfect way to execute the plank and within the next few seconds, its eyes started to glow in a crimson red hue. A red beam was released from its irises and it shot towards Zorua. The Zorua stood there motionlessly, oblivious of what had happened. Once Lock-On was connected however, the next attack would hit its target like a torpedo missile, there was virtually no chances of missing.

The Zorua decided to ignore the attack, assuming that the red beam had no effect, and started rushing itself towards the real Porygon-Z. Its speed was so fast that it seemed as if it was vanishing from one spot, then reappearing in another spot. However, it was useless. The Hidden Power pellets were fired towards the Zorua. At first, they seemed to travel in a straight direction, completely missing their target. However, as they flew across, a red beam suddenly materialized and tracked the movements of the Zorua, as well as guiding the attack towards it. Like a magnet, the pellets were stuck to the trace of red line, and they were suddenly forced forward at an even faster rate.

Thunder Wave has struck. The Porygon-Z released a weak coil of electricity that were used to paralyze targets, and not only used it to give the pellets a speed and power boost, it only charged up the pellets. The electricity cackled around the pellets, just like how they cackled around Togekiss's wings earlier. This was a similar attack. Zorua unfortunately, had no chances to dodge at all. While running forward, it was pummeled immediately by the impact of the Hidden Power, an attack that had random typing when used by different Pokemon, but it sure did look like it did a lot of damage, and then the Thunder Wave around the pellets quickly affected it. The electricity conducted through its fur and the Porygon-Z illusion was already broken earlier by the Hidden Power. Zorua continued running forward however, albeit at a much slower speed.

Once it reached a close enough distance, it sliced through the wind right in front of Porygon-Z. From the slicing action, a mysterious force of dark energy seemed to emerged from it and obliterated Porygon-Z immediately. It was Punishment; a move that would deal more damage the more stat boosts a Pokemon had; a perfect move to use against Porygon-Z now.

Both Pokemon looked incredibly tired now, as they started panting continuously. Porygon-Z started sweating, which was definitely weird. From what I heard from my friend, Porygon-Z itself, they'd only sweat if some kind of malfunction happened within their body. The malfunction could be of several causes, such as tiredness or perhaps it just took damage that proved critical or fatal because it hit a certain weak spot. I studied the Porygon-Z appearance and there were no visible deep cuts ... wait. Isn't that a cut? I stood up suddenly, and eyed the almost camouflaged wound on the Porygon-Z right.

There it was, a slit was visible on the Pokemon's body. The sudden slice of action might have proved fatal for Porygon-Z as these species's defenses were naturally lower. Its body was also noticeably softer than its pre-evolutions, especially when compared to the rigid Porygon. The cut revealed a bit of the cybernetic material within the Pokemon's body. While it didn't seem to affect Porygon-Z's battling condition much, I had a feeling the effect was simply delayed and would only surface later. I remained motionless, a little tensed up, as I waited for Cameron's next choice of actions.
