General Park Discussion/Feedback/Questions

Hey everyone, gmandiddy is having some troubles with his Internet so he asked me to let people know that's why he hasn't been online. He said he should have it up tomorrow hopefully, and maybe the weekend at the latest. If it's past the weekend and it's still not working, he said feel free to ask for a new Ranger.

Do not send me VMs. I can't see them due to the update in combination with shitty computerness. Just tag me in a post in the most related Chat thread. I'm really pissed too.

Kay. You didn't check your aim, so I just wanted my question answered before I started your post, or else I'm going to wait. Didn't know you couldn't see VMs. Please don't rage at me. I didn't know how else to get ahold of you, and in case you didn't go on aim a lot, that was the best solution. I'm trying to be nice and friendly and asking you stuff to make the run go smoothly.

 

^^; Sorry. Now that I read it that post does sound pretty abrasive. I was just trying to be clear. I'm definitely not going to rage at anyone (including you).
There's a slim chance that I'll have access to AIM tonight. The thing is, when I have access to AIM, I have a computer that can allow me to view VMs, so VMing would be obsolete. -_- I really hate my computer. and I'm really frustrated.

A little bit. I just wanted to know if you're going through as a Trainer character or as your Ranger character (or if both are the same, you didn't specify on your Sign Up sheet, which also needs updating iirc). I don't want to talk about run specifics in here because that's not what the thread is for. I know you're frustrated, but I can't help that. I'll try to put things in OOC blocks in the posts if I need to talk to you I guess.

Yeah, they're the same person. I will definitely update my post. With respect to further questions, I can actually see PMs now. So if you want to do that way, it's avaliable. I personally don't mind tagging and responding, but clogging up this thread just because of one person's stupid computer problems seems unnecessary. If you don't mind doing OOC blocks, then I don't mind. I just know wome people that really don't like them. I'm fine with any mode of functional communication.

-Attention all Park Staff and Trainers-

This is a reminder to everyone that MCR must be met before a Trainer can attempt to capture a Pokémon. They have to reach the minimum character count no matter what capture rate the calculator says. The calculator shouldn't be used until MCR is met. This is so capturing Pokémon through the Park is fair. It must be worked for.

Lol, okay. So what's the use of the "No" option (MIn Char? Yes/No) in the Cap Rate calc? XD

 

I didn't make the Calculator, don't ask me. -shrugs- If we get an updated version ([email protected]ChainReaction01hint), this can be fixed. This should be a no-brainer I guess though. No capture until MCR is met. Otherwise people don't put the appropriate amount of work into it that they should to make it fair/on par with other modes of catching mons.

 

Yeah but I feel thats the whole idea. You dont put in the apropriate work for it then your taking a major chance that 25% capture rate wont work
