Along with what Akinai said, abandoned runs are first priority, since they were in the Park first. Also be sure to check PWN. I don't want to see any new runs taken before Smores' run is picked up.

Dedenne's Rank is now Uncommon instead of Common.

This does not affect any in-progress runs. No lists need to be rerolled, and if a Trainer encounters a Dedenne, it can be the rank it was originally rolled with.

Hi, I see you've already posted your entrance form in the Main RP Front Gate, so now you'll have to wait for a ranger to pick up your run. Once someone has claimed your run, you can start posting in the Meteor Valley thread (your ranger will be the one to post first/start the run, though, so wait for him/her to post in the thread, then you post in response to his/her post, and so on.) We take runs kinda on a "first-come-first-served" basis btw, and as there are runs still waiting to be taken on the other forums, it miiight be a while before one of us can claim yours. ^_^; Please be patient and we'll try to get to yours as soon as possible.

Before someone takes you through the park, you need to post in either the Individual RP or Main RP Front Gates where you select an area, pay the fee, and list what items and Pokemon you're bringing in. Since you weren't a member of the URPG last time you posted there, you will need to post again. You may only use items you have bought at the Park Shop and Pokemon you have in your URPG stats--that includes EMs. You can only use ones you own. Then, like Muddy said, you wait for a Ranger to take your run and then post to start it. Then you respond to it and vice versa. You can use this time now to update your Front Gate sheet:

Currently, you have 3x Park Balls that haven't been purchased listed. Your money has probably been modified as well. Doublade's level ups could also be edited, though it's not necessary to list level up moves on the application if you don't want to. Likewise, I suggest evolving Doublade into Aegislash if you haven't already since runs can be hard on unevolved Pokemon with no healing items. I also suggest getting a second Pokemon first since the entry fee covers bringing two Pokemon with you.

Please direct further questions here to this thread or to a Ranger in person and not in the RP threads themselves--we like to keep the actual runs free of clutter and this thread was designed for questions.

This has been brought up a couple of times, so Chainy and I discussed it, and a new rule is going into effect immediately.

Rangers can determine the quality of pictures taken and slash pay as needed, up to 50% of the picture's value. This is equivalent to ending up with a blurry/corrupted picture, etc, roleplay wise. Keep in mind, post quality is considered over the entire run and not just individual posts. Make sure you guys put as much effort into picture posts as you do the rest of them.

Question: I'm pretty darn sure my run ended, 'cause I didn't post for so long, so did I successfully obtain the one Pokemon I caught? By the by, I changed mah username, it was MarioMiner.

Not posting doesnt end your run; it only ends when your ranger or an elite ranger closes it. You can't claim your captured pokemon until one of them does so, but you have to request it to be done. You could also continue your run and catch some more pokemon if you wish. hope this helps =]

 

The Park Encyclopedia has been rewritten, so expect that to be updated over the course of today--if you find some links lead to different places or there are some pages missing, this is why.

There is also a new Start-up Guide paired up with the rules to help people clearly understand what they need to do to go on a run.

There will be more edits to pages as the day progresses.

 

Requesting a new ranger, gonna need remaining encounters rerolled though I fear.

Oh. that's awkward. But yeah, I'm trying to grab a Shellos. I want the mighty water/ground Gastrodon.

 

Gastrodon is a pretty cool Pokemon. Any specific reason you'd want one?

 

I've been considering gathering up some ground types. I like them.

 

All Park info has been moved to the Info Hub. This includes location lists, guides, the pedia, and some Ranger information.

Please also note that Abandoned runs have been moved to the front page and is only one thread.

Escape attempts and Claims are also just one thread for all types of runs and are located in the Ranger Logs subforum. Please specify which type of run these are when you post.
