hello, I need some help regarding the national park RP.

I have figured out how the individual RPs work. However it will be awhile until I can do that, because they are quite expensive.

My question is with the main RP. I cant seem to find out what Im curious about.

Does the main RP work the same way as the individual RPs, can you only go into areas and catch pokemon when a ranger is with you? Or can you go into another area with a fellow character and catch pokemon. Also, is it free or does it cost as much money as the individuals do.
Finally any pokemon caught in the main RP can be used as pokes in all of the URPG correct?

    Thankyou to anyone who answers!!
I hope I was clear in my questions.

As far as I know, the Main RP is simply an area where multiple Trainer/Ranger pairs can carry out runsat the same time. In this way, Trainers and Rangers can interact with each other if they are in the same area of the park.

Yes, all Pokemon caught in the park an be used in the URPG, but only AFTER to complete your run through the park.

The Main RP works identically to Individual RPs, including the general purpose of RPing to catch pokemon with a ranger and the cost. The only difference is that, in the main RP, trainers may have to deal with other trainers actions (or more general occurances) that are also in the main RP. If a wildfire starts in the woods, for example, most everyone there would be involved in the main RP, and it may even change what Pokemon appear in other areas for a short time.

I could take you through, but only if no one else wants to claim... (like Professor Yew, one who hasn't any runs yet--I think)
Could you provide me with a link to your RP thread?

EDIT: Oh, you're in the Main RP. No problem! So, does any one else want to claim? If not, I'll totally get this... Just giving others a chance, you know.

thankyou everyone for clarification. Also, does it cost money to enter into a run in the main RP like in the individual ones? If so, dang, I need to save up a lot. :\

Yes, of course it does. If the Main RP's entrance fee was free, then everyone would be crowding their way in the Front Gate already. ;) Yes, the Park does require you to save up around 4K of cash--$3500 for the entrance fee, plus the money you need to buy some park items, maybe even HMs if you want. (I put in 4K 'cause that would be the least amount, buying just one Parkball...)

Speaking as a long-time Trainer, I advise on 10k before entering the Park. 4k for entry + extra mon, 4k for some balls + medicines, and 2k just in case you need to buy some Poke Dolls to run from strong Wilds. I'd also strongly suggest you buy a Digital Camera - it pays for itself inside of a couple runs easily.

Also, Muddy, go for it. No one else has claimed yet.

can a vespiquen be caught by a Superball?

because I don't know if I should consider it as a stage 2 as it's fully evolved, or a stage 1 as it's only evolved once

Vespiqueen can be caught by a Superball, only 3rd Stage Pokemon can be caught by a Hyper Ball. It can also be caught by Park Ball. I am sure someone will explain much better, but that's the jist of things

Third stage Pokemon; Pokémon in the final state of a three stage evolution, for example Blastoise, Charizard and Venusaur, can only be caught by Hyper Balls.

Second stage Pokemon; Pokémon in the middle state of a three stage evolution i.e. Wartortle, Charmeleon and Ivysaur, or Pokémon in the final state of a two stage evolution, i.e. Vespiquen, Xatu or Cradily. All of these can be caught by Super Balls or Hyper Balls.

And then all others are stage one and thus catchable with any ball. I think anyway. The mart is somewhat confusing with regards to the encyclopedia. Unless I am wrong.

This problem comes up once every now and then. It works like this:

If it hasn't evolved, it is a Stage One Pokemon. Park Balls, Super Balls, and Hyper Balls will work on it. Examples: Caterpie, Happiny, Natu, Miltank.

If it has evolved once, it is a Stage Two Pokemon. Park Balls, Super Balls, and Hyper Balls will work on it. Examples: Whiscash, Charmeleon, Scizor, Porygon2.

If it has evolved twice, it is a Stage Three Pokemon. Only Hyper Balls will work on it. Examples: Beedrill, Meganium, Roserade, Dragonite.

Well, if this is true then I believe that HikaruIzumi is owed a Kirlia. After managing to build up the character count to a really high level, I found out that she couldn't catch it with Park Balls, so that encounter had to end with the Kirlia ateleporting "in fear" of a Poochyena. T17 and DoH confirmed this so this is sort of contradicting :X

Just sayin' that Bee corrected Chainy's post, not just quoting it for da truth. So read it carefully.

What DoH and I have said are true. But you/Chainy misunderstood the whole thing about Basic/1st Stage/2nd Stage. But yes, Bee cleared it out in his post. Give her the Kirlia by all means since she has earned it.

Kirlia is 1st Stage which is Super/Hyperball and she had a Parkball so what you two said first is correct.

This should be editted into the Encyclopedia, will save a lot of confusion. Also into the Mart.
Edit - by "this" I mean the full explanation of how to capture each Pokémon stage
