General Park Discussion/Feedback/Questions

A lot of people have been asking this recently, both Trainers and Rangers alike. It's being considered by the higher-ups; please be patient while everything is figured out.

 

Gmandiddy told me I should request a new ranger for my run since he has been semi inactive for ranger duties and is going to be for some time longer, so that being said anyone interested in finishing up my run?

Uh I'm pretty sure Gliscorman agreed to take over which would make this post irrelevant, but I'll leave it here so he can post for clarification

Yeah, sorry Mud. I've claimed Ebail's run. I'll get the new rolls shortly, along with a post.

 

BW Abilities have been added to the ParkPedia! I've also edited Lighteningrod and Storm Drain's entries, though there are more like Sturdy I have to edit. Also, someone check Zen Mode and make sure I got everything; I'm not entirely familiar w/ that Ability and neither Serebii nor Veekun are clear on what stats go up and what ones go down.

I need to update the Pedia @ PE2K w/ this info when I get a chance...I also need to work on the moves list. Hopefully it'll be up by my next days off (Tuesday and Wednesday). If someone wants to start working on it, you're more than welcome to ^^.

 

Okay, so quite a few of you have been waiting on this for a while. The new and improved Ranger Quiz is finally up! It's been edited to further test your knowledge and include some of the new implementations.

So, if you feel like joining the Ranger family, the first stage is filling in this quiz and sending it to either Bumblebee or me. YOU SHOULD TOTALLY SEND IT TO ME THOUGH BECAUSE I'LL DO IT SUPER FAST AND BEE IS OFTEN BUSY AND OTHER COMPLETELY SEE-THROUGH REASONS.

But yeah, it's found in exactly the same place as the last one. Have fun attempting it, and PM it to me when you're done (or Bee, I guess).

Do you need the 'Recommended HMs' for each area, apart from ones that are 'required'?

 

no. over all it's up to the ranger to decide whether or not it will affect the run. it can do anything from making the run a bit longer , to making pokemon a lot harder to catch. or it could do nothing

hey uh, Timpeni VMed me saying I should probably get a new ranger for my ongoing run. Could someone else please take it over?

 

Edited Cursed Body so that any attack may trigger it, not just Physical ones.

Also, if Trainers are becoming more scarce, I'm more than open to axing the one-week rule for a while to see how it works out. We'll consider that rule rescinded as of now. I'll keep an eye on how busy Rangers get over the next few weeks and make sure people aren't getting rarer Pokemon too quickly, but it shouldn't be much of a problem. Mainly the rule was put into place at the beginning of the Park's opening because we had a much smaller number of Rangers. Since the ranks have expanded there shouldn't be a problem letting Trainers come back as often as they like.

 

Yeah, our Rangers list has expanded much since the last time and some of our Rangers couldn't get any Trainers to 'do their job'. This could also mean the more active Rangers could hog on to more Trainers now via AIM and whatnot, so I ask humbly, Guys, if you have about 3 Runs in your hand, try not to take anymore and give chances to newer Rangers who are often left with no Runs

If not I'll be forced to give you a RP Run full of Maggyo. That is all.

If you mean by "we" as in a good number of people, I'm sure we can possibly try and make that an Event.
