    good job smores;o

I'm like 90% sure roar/whirlwind are affected by weight differences between Pokemon now. I saw this speculated somewhere after they had no affect on certain Pokemon.

regarding Flying Press, it hits Steel for neutral and gets stab only once iirc.

    Problem lines: Binacle/Barbaracle, Chespin/Quiladin/Chesnaught, Clauncher/Clawitzer, Braixen, Flabebe/Floette/Florges, Skiddo/Gogoat

It'd really help if someone could raise any of the problem lines up from level 1 and note what moves they learn! This includes not evolving Chespin, Clauncher, Quiladin and Braixen until sufficiently high level and bringing Pokemon to move relearner.

Got them from serebii. Potentially inaccurate but seem consistent so far

Yeah, serebii's looking pretty reliable, better than some of smogon

I'll goof around with Flying Press and unique type combos so we can see what happens. Will edit when I find things.

Flying Press vs. Leavanny = Super Effective!
Flying Press vs. Skorupi = Not Very Effective.
Flying Press vs. Drapion = Not Very Effective.
Flying Press vs. Probopass = Neutrally Effective.

Let me know if anything else needs to be tested, I found these to be the most relevant.

Leavanny, two Flying weakness, one Fighting resistance = 2x damage
Skorupi, two Fighting resistances, one Flying weakness = 1/2x damage.
Probopass, two Fighting weakness, two Flying resistances, = 1x damage

Drapion I can't figure out. It has one Fighting weakness (Dark) and one Fighting resistance (Poison). Flying is neutral to both those types. Drapion should be neutral?

Can't think of anything right now. Just keep letting me know if more stats/moves/abilities or whatever are found

Sorry, must've made a mistake in reporting. Tried it again and it is neutral.

Tell me if you want me to test against anything else.

Not sure if you have this already. Apparently gen vi held items, gotten from Smogon:

Assault Vest - An item to be held by a Pokémon. This offensive vest raises Sp. Def but prevents the use of status moves. (i.e. Non-Attacking moves)
Kee Berry - If held by a Pokémon, this Berry will increase the Pokémon's Defense stat when hit by a physical attack.
Luminous Moss - An item to be held by a Pokémon. It boosts Sp. Def if hit with a Water-type attack. It can only be used once.
Maranga Berry - If held by a Pokémon, this Berry will increase the Pokémon's Sp. Defense stat when hit by a special attack.
Pixie Plate - An item to be held by a Pokémon. It is a stone tablet that boosts the power of Fairy-type moves.
Roseli Berry - If held by a Pokémon, this Berry will lessen the damage taken from one supereffective Fairy-type attack.
Safety Goggles - An item to be held by a Pokémon. These goggles protect the holder from both weather-related damage and powder.
Snowball - An item to be held by a Pokémon. It boosts Attack if hit with an Ice-type attack. It can only be used once.
Weakness Policy - An item to be held by a Pokémon. Attack and Sp. Atk sharply increase if the holder is hit with a move it's weak to.

would it be possible/worth it to incorporate sky battles and inverse battles?

Also! this was probably mentioned, but the new TMs are Infestation, Nature Power, Confide, and Dazzling Gleam!

edit: saw a post by smores that had some ability changes. I think he missed that Overcoat protects from powder and spore moves.

speaking of which let's not forget the new immunities electric, grass, and ghost get!
oh, and steel losing resistance to ghost and dark

Inverse should be a thing. Sky battles would make flying gyms even better, so there's that. Still a cool battle type though.

Sky battles in Flying Gyms would be horrible. There'd be no Starmies, no Rhyperiors, no Abomasnows, no Metagross, etc etc etc... They're already good enough >_>

couldn't there just be a restriction on that though? i mean, you should be free to challenge a gym regardless of if you even have a flyer/levitater anyway. I just think it wouldn't be a bad idea to make them into a selectable battle style like Triple or Double etc.

also with that comes a question...would doubles/rotation/triples etc be allowed in conjunction with sky battles? (assuming they were even implemented into URPG) There aren't any instances of that in-game, but i dont see why it shouldn't be possible.

I'm not against the introduction of Sky Battles, I was just against them as a possibility for use in Gyms. Something that is that selective should be banned in competitive use. *cough*GSC*cough*

Sky Battles and Inverse Battles will be made available as a clause in the same way GBA Clause can be used to limit you to only four moves.

I doubt I'll allow them to be used in gyms.

@ChainReaction01; What exactly is wrong with GSC?

ok then we should probably start a list of what can/can't be used in a sky battle, in terms of pokemon, moves, and held items.

pretty sure iron ball would be banned under...uhh...sky clause? as well as gravity, smack down, and ground type moves in general (except Mud Sport/Sand Attack?) Actually, i'm not sure if ground attacks would be unusable or just fail. same goes for things that would negate/change levitate like gastro acid, role play or skill swap, and stuff that causes levitation like magnet rise and telepathy.

now for pokemon, would the URPG list be the same as in game or would there be exceptions that we would allow that aren't allowed in game like Delibird, Shedinja, or Volbeat?

Nothing really, that was more of a cheap joke. I just don't like how their whole shtick is no Abilities and yet Slaking's and Archeops' abilities are still in use there. Yes, I know it's for balance reasons, it's still stupid. It should be either no Abilities at all or no new Pokemon or something along those lines.

Somewhat related to the Sky Battles thing--would a charizard work if it mega-evolved into Mega Charizard X, which is neither levitates nor is a flying-type? (I think this would be the only exception, as gengar cannot participate in Sky Battles and aerodactyl retains the flying-type)

Gengar has Levitate so it should be able to? Or is it only Flying types?

Anyway I've confirmed in game that Charizard can become Mega Charizard X during a Sky-Battle.

I think she was referring to the fact that Mega Gengar gets Shadow Tag. Gengar itself is allowed in sky battles. But it's just a theory.

However, since Mega Charizard X is allowed because it can fly, even if not a flying type. I think Gengar would be allowed even after it Mega Evolves since it started that way in battle.

Oh. And to help out. Fire Pledge does not work in sky battles. Tested it personally.
