I dunno if this is known / obvious, but they have the prevos' level up moves in the threads for the fully evolved Pokemon. Maybe that's why you're missing them?

Also, the reason they look kind of patchy is because as soon as they get them they take them straight to the move relearner so they have a lot of "<level". It looks sort of confusing when you look at the replies because a lot of people are contributing things at once, but the OP's are usually clear once they get updated. Also, for the URPG purposes I don't think it really matters what levels Pokemon learn their moves so I don't think that should dissuade.

No offense, but I don't think the URPG at all has the capability to complete a project like this

Those stats seem a little odd - I was under the impression that it was a straight swap (ie 399 <-> 199) but I may be wrong anyway. Blade Form looks more like what each stat could be with a positive nature, since they're all +10% on the Shield Form stats.

Other than that, lists like these are exactly what we need. I'll post some Google Docs soon that people can edit movesets into - anybody that wants to help can research OR get data from sites that appear to have reliable info already. Either is fine. It will help to have everything in one place for myself and Ataro to reference.

Right now, I'm trying to collect all the TMs so I can confirm compatibility with all the Pokemon.

I have a really stupid question...Was there not a guide book released for this gen? I'm sure a guide book wouldn't help too terribly much but at least it would list out a lot of the new things - TM list and attack list. I think they've stopped making a guides complete with Pokedex with full move pools and what not. Thought I'd ask.

I'm pretty sure there is a strategy guide. They attempted to sell me it when I bought the game lol.

If someone wanted to help with getting data collected for XY what would be the best means of doing so? Like is there a template or something for the ultradex that one could like knock a Pokemon off or something?

Also we need to do like ref encyclopedia stuff too right? Is there any type of template for moves or anything? Like can we just use the current set for the new moves?

EDIT: Actually now that I look a lot of the new abilities have already been added to refpedia, so what else needs to be done?

That was me last night. I've left some patchy spots and assumptions in brackets, like Strong Jaw is probably a 20% increase as per Iron Fist, but I didn't have an exact figure.
That was based on a list from Bulbapedia. All this discussion and collaboration is only useful if it actually gets implemented, so I figured I would.

I'll do the new moves at some point today, using the existing format.

If anybody has more reliable information than whats in our Refpedia, go ahead and post it here or let me know.

As for the Ultradex, that's @Ataro;'s project, so it's up to him how he wants that done.

Currently it would be really helpful to have a complete list of any old Pokemon with BST changes, and any old moves with mechanics changed (ie Flamethrower etc is 90 Power)

@Monbrey ;I'm fairly certain that Strong Jaw is a 50% increase, to match Tough Claws and Mega Launcher. It also makes Tyrantrum a lot more useable.

    E: Yeah:

For Pokemon with BST changes, something like Pokemon/HP/ATT/DEF/SPA/SPD/SPE is perfect. I can copy-paste that into the calc's read file.

Moves and Abilities, just something like "Flamethrower power from 95 to 90" is fine. Or "Oblivious now also blocks Taunt". Anything that's interpretable.

Huh, cool. If only it learned more than Bite and Crunch level up. I'll edit those in. Are Fairy Aura and Dark Aura also 50%?[

Here's a really random question, I ask it here instead of the general thread because it might affect the calc:

How does Flying Press with Hawlucha work STAB-wise? Like, does it get a x2.25 bonus cos its a Fighting and Flying move being used by a Fighting and Flying Pokemon? For that matter, how does it work in general, like if Flying Press is used on a pure Steel type (Registeel, I'm blanking atm) does it deal neutral damage because Steel resists Flying but is weak to Fighting?

    EDIT:

Also, all sound based moves bypass Substitute, not sure if that should go in all of the sound moves, or under substitute, but ya.

Also, Roar/ Whirlwind goes through Protect/ Detect now (with above not sure where to put)

Water Sport / Mud Sport now last 5 turns NOT expiring when the pokemon switches out.

Sleep counter also does not reset if pokemon is switched out(similar to pre gen v mechanics)

    Proof for Defog

A Picture of the Pokemon Guide confirming that Crits now do 1.5x damage

Knock Off seems to do 1.5x damage if it knocks off an item

Should I edit this post if I find new things or make a new post?

Seems to be that it does neutral damage in that case. Also if used on a ghost type the Pokemon is immune,

I wont edit move changes in yet, for the sake of Gen V accuracy. That can be last.

So what DOES prevent Roar/Whirlwind now? Just stuff like Ingrain?

Can't answer for the STAB question, but I know for Steel, Rock, and Bug types, it does neutral damage, so effectiveness cancels each other out.
