She looked up and saw the pokeball crusading towards her, unsure what to do. Glancing over at the Gardevior, sh could see that her attack was barely blocked. It had pushed back the shield and slightly cracked it.
Thinking the ball was some sort of weird attack from Sela, Sableye promptly ducked into her shadow, leaving the Park Ball to roll away a couple feet.

It was still perfectly usable, if a bit scratched up. She stuck the top half of her head out of the ground to make sure the coast was clear. Fortunatly, it was, so the purple pokemon rose out the rest of the way. Now somewhat less confused, Sableye picked up some fist size stones from the ground, and began to juggle them. Once three were going round and round, she began preparing to throw them at her opponent.

    Re: Individual RP: Siless

Siless watched the Park Ball roll past where the Sableye stood; it seemed that the ghost-type wasn't as confused as he thought, as it avoided the capture attempt completely. The Trainer grabbed another Park Ball from his pocket, keeping it ready for when the Sableye would be easier to capture. He started circling around the Ghost-type's back; the Park Ball he had used earlier was still usable, and he may be able to use it instead of, or in addition to, the new one.

Sela saw her trainer try to sneak past the Sableye; possibly to get the ball, possibly to get a better angle on another capture attempt. Either way, she wasn't going to get a vocal order from her trainer; she decided to assist him in the task he set forth for himself by keeping the attention of the Sableye.

The ghost was juggling three rocks; it seemed that she was preparing to throw them at the Gardevoir. Sela responded by trying to peer into the future to see exactly when the ghost would throw them; her eyes began to glow a bright blue with the Future Sight attack.

Sela knew her visions, if successful, were in control of her body when the move activated, so her counterattack would have to be planned out for exactly when her visions ended. Quickly, she formed two strategies dependent on where exactly she showed up; if she was close enough to the Sableye, she's slam the ground with a Psychic attack to launch dirt and rocks at the ghost, and if not, she could launch a quick Thunderbolt. Either way, she figured, the Sableye would be focused too much on her new offensive to notice the Trainer behind the ghost.

(OOC-This run made me realize how difficult it is to write when working around another's post, and trying to make things happen without forcing them. 'Tis fun)

Sableye lept into the air with grace, just as Sela had seen in her vision. The rocks were thrown, one after the other towards the Gardevior. She dogded with Teleport and avoided the projectiles. Where she landed, Sela notice the purple ghost in the air above her.

Charging up electricity, her arms crackled. With the opponent airborn, logically, Thunderbolt would hurt a lot more than usual. The bolt of electicity struck down upon Sableye with ferocity. She was slammed into the ground hard enough that further damage was done. Sableye was now struggling to stand up.

"I didn't see that one coming..." She thought as she continued to try to move.

    Re: Individual RP: Siless

As soon as Sableye leaped for the barrage of rocks, Siless ran quickly to the used Park Ball, intending to pick it up but stopping as a bright flash of light came from the direction of the battling Pokémon. The Trainer turned to see the Ghost-type plummeting, surrounded by electrical residue from the Thunderbolt that Sela had struck with. The Sableye struck the ground hard, and Siless knew it was the best time to try a capture; well, that it was a lot better than his first attempt. He threw the ball in his hand at the downed Sableye and picked up the used ball; he was going to be prepared in case the capture failed.

Sela saw the ball sailing for the Ghost in front of her. As one last precaution, she shot a low-powered Hypnosis ring at the Sableye; it was formed quickly, but it probably wouldn't put her to sleep if she had any will to fight remaining, but it would still make her drowsy, making it more difficult for her to escape the capture. With this done, the Gardevoir let out a Wish, hoping to nurse her wounds before she had to fight again; this battle hard worn her out more than the previous ones combined, since she wasn't able to maintain her extra energy source.

    BP?

The ball whoosed through the air and hit her before she could react, the Hypnosis passing by the Park Ball on the ground. Sableye wiggled a bit- therefore the pokeball did as well.

    ONCE,
    TWICE,
    THRICE,
    CLICK!!!

The ball glowed briefly and snapped shut. She continued to squirm inside the orb still. Spiritomb floated over and tapped the button with his keystone, releasing the Sableye from custody.
"Are you okay?" He asked her kindly.
"More or less." The female ghost answered.

Serenity walked over to Siless to offer her congratulations.
"Awesome! You caught another pokemon." She crossed her arms. "That makes three, you know. Do you wish to leave now? Because, while you're still allowed to catch pokemon, you can only keep three." The girl scratched her shoulder and looked up at the sky, where stars were just beginning to show themselves.

Sela began to glow, as the Wish took it's affect, and the more severe of her injuries healed, leaving mostly minor scratches, bruises, and bumps. She glanced over at the two ghosts, chatting about who knows what, and smiled. Though somewhat exausted from the activities, is was the good kind of tired- the kind where you get a good feeling inside from a good day's work.

"You did a great job, Sela," Siless praised his Gardevoir. The Pokémon had fought hard, and was visibly exhausted (though considerably less so thanks to the Wish); Siless knew that she had fought hard. "You worked hard today. You should rest up some more."

"Yeah.. We should let those two get more acquainted before we go anywhere, don't you think?" the Gardevoir responded, motioning to the conversing ghosts. "We should probably start heading back to the ranger outpost soon, though. We spent too much time in the caves, and it's getting late."

Siless voiced his Pokémon's concerns to their ranger; she could most likely make a more informed decision than the rest of the group on how to proceed.

"Gar, de, gar." Came from the distance, echoing through the Valley. Near some bushes next to the valley wall was a humanoid figure garbed in white and green. In its arms was a smaller shape of the same color. It appeared to be rocking the small one to sleep, and singing a lullaby.

"Is that... what I think it is?" Serenity quietly asked Siless. The sky continued to darken, so it made sense that it was time for little ones to go to bed. A gentle breeze cam through and caused the dress-thing of the distant pokemon to ruffle lightly.

"Voir... Gardeh. Deh." It continued to sing beautifully.

    (OOC-Female please.)

"I believe it is," Siless responded to his Ranger as quietly as he could. He didn't want to interrupt the scene that was in front of them. This was the first time he saw a Gardevoir in the wild, and it appeared to be a parent, as well. "We should probably keep our distance so that we don't interrupt it. This.. this is great to be able to see, though.." Siless found himself not wanting to leave, but he didn't want to interrupt the scene before them. "If we're quiet enough, we shouldn't disturb its child. We should go so that we're not bothering them..."

Sela was engrossed in the scene as well; it was the first time she saw a wild Gardevoir as well. Still, she could feel Siless's need to leave the pair alone instead of going to learn more; this wasn't their place to interrupt.

After a few minutes of quiest gazeing at the beautiful sight, the other Gardevior glowed white and vanished from their vision.
"That was..." Serenity paused. "Undescribable." She smiled. Try as she did, the girl could not find the right words for the view before them.

The sky was becoming less orange by the minute, and the number of stars visable was rapidly increasing. "Ready to head back now?" She looked over at Siless, wondering if he was nearly as drowsy as she was. Serenity let out a tiny yawn and glanced back at the Ghost/Dark types talking about rocks and gems. This made her giggle, and she made no effort to surpress it.

Siless looked to the sky; it was quickly darkening, and more small lights started to fill the sky in the sun's place.

I wonder if Sela wishes on one of these stars...

"Ready to head back now?" the Trainer heard from his Ranger. He only then realized how late it had become.

"Yeah, we should probably get going. It's getting late." Just as the words escaped the Trainer's mouth, the second Pokéball on his belt started shaking. "Heh. I think Teddson's getting restless. Do you think we might be able to find something that wants to battle on the way back?"

    BP?

"GRRRRRRAAAAAAAGGGGHHH!!!!" Echoed violently through the valley.

A massive gray, black, red, and gold pokemon descended down on the group. Surely it was about fifteen feet tall as it towered over them. Their surroundings grew strange as the pokemon drew closer. Gravity seemed slightly distorted- as did small parts of the rest of the world around them.

Serenity began to wonder if it was an illusion as she noticed rocks floating, and pieces of the sky on the ground. Why the Renegade pokemon had shown up she could not imagine. "What the-?" She muttered while she gazed up at the Ghost/Dragon. Never before had the girl seen a legendary pokemon so close up

"LUDIH! LUUUUUDIIIIICOOOOLLLLLOOOOOO!!!" Teddson let out his battle cry as he exited his pokeball. The dancing pokemon hadn't had a good battle the whole trip, so he was quite determined to battle the monster before him. Even though that particular beast happened to be Giratina.

A towering ghost-type stood before them; the legendary Giratina. Siless was not expecting such a Pokémon to appear in his trip, or even to ever show up to him. He wasn't sure whether it was hostile, or just lost control of its powers, or even if it just sensed the Ludicolo's restlessness and came out for a friendly match; either way, they were in for a tough battle.

"Alright, Teddson. Take every advantage you can get. Start off with a Rain Dance to gain speed and power, and follow up by comboing with Astonish and Waterfall!"

The Ludicolo began immediately; after shuffling a few steps, a distorted drizzle rained down on the battlefield, making the Ludicolo blur as his Swift Swim started to kick in. Both the rain and the beat of the dance helped Teddson get in top form; the rhythmic Water-type found it easy to make the swift beat that called for the rain, and the beat itself gave the Carefree Pokémon a small burst of energy.

Teddson continued with its combo; his beak and eyes seemed to bulge out while his "hat" grew to an enormous size, casting a large shadow over the Pokémon. The Ludicolo let out an intimidating shout, creating a large shock-wave that traveled through the air, bringing up dust with it. As soon as he let out the shout, Teddson returned his features to normal and began to charge at the Giratina, cloaking itself in water in the process. The blurred Pokémon passed through his own sonic shock-wave in an attempt to strike the Legendary Ghost-type hard.

The Giratina watched patiently as Teddson danced and ran about. When he began to use Astonish, the ghost was unphased by the stretching, twisting, etc. It was after all, a Giratina.

SMACK! The Astonish may not have scared the ruler of the distortion world, but it distracted them long enough for Teddson's attack. After the hit, Giratina faded from sight in a flurry of shadow. There was a good chance that Shadow Force was being used- an attack known only by the Ghost/Dragon.

It could reappear at any moment, at any place. One of the few moves that would always smash through Protect as if it were a cheap paper plate. Not to mention the strongest Ghost type move in existance if Serenity was not mistaken. A purple mist lingered in the air, most likely a side-effect of Shadow Force.

Siless wasn't sure what to make of this situation; the opposing Pokémon had just used its most powerful move, rendering it invulnerable to damage until it attacked with a powerful, shield-shattering blow. Still, he had to help prepare for when Teddson could strike again.

"Alright Teddson, keep your eye out for when it reappears. When it does, interrupt it with a Zen Headbutt!"

It wasn't much, but it was the best idea Siless could come up with; it was about the only thing available to him that had the slightest, minuscule chance of jarring the ghostly-dragon enough to stop the attack. The Ludicolo's sombrero glowed; Teddson was confident he could get the strike in before he got hit.

Out of nowhere came Giratina, right behind the Ludicolo. Along with the Shadow Force, the magnificent pokemon used Shadow Claw at the same time, sending Teddson sliding far from gently onto the ground. The Giratina stood there proudly with a posture that clearly said- "You are not worthy."

A light blue swirling orb began to form at Giratina's face, growing bigger by the second. It appeared to be an Aura Sphere. A very powerful one. Since when is it a good idea to use a dancing pinapple thing against the ruler of an entire dimension? At least that's how Serenity saw it. The ordeal as a whole seemed far less ridiculous than trying to scare it though.

They needed to escape, though there was hardly a chance with Giratina's power and dimensional control; their best chance was too just make it unappealing for the Legendary Pokémon to fight.

"Teddson, focus on dodging his attacks, and calling up rain whenever it stops."

Swift Swim would help with the Pokémon's agility, which in turn would help it's evasion, if it was aware of the attack at least. The Ludicolo seemed less restless than he did before; he probably used most of the extra energy in his initial attacks, and now he was ready to battle like normal. As normal as one could get, staring down a powerful Legendary Pokémon, at least.

The Aura Sphere faded away into oblivion. Giratina looked into the night sky and a giant disc appeared. It looked like a perfectly spherical pond surface floating in mid-air. Twinkling stars were reflected on it, making it appear nearly invisible but for the ripples.

Legs shrunk into the body they came from, and the Renegade pokemon glowed and took to the sky. Giratina had undergone a transformation right before their eyes. Surly this experience would be something to brag about. Into the portal it went, back to the distorion world. Slowly but surely, the enviroment untwisted and the portal colapsed into itself.

Serenity, who was standing under a large rainbow umbrella with her Fire type, was in awe. Eventually, she managed to speak.
"Perhaps we should head to the outpost now?" The girl pointed in the direction of where they had entered the valley.

    Re: Individual RP: Siless

Teddson felt disappointed that his battle ended so abruptly. Still, he considered himself lucky; had the Pokémon that just left instead battled with all of its strength, he'd probably be a fruity smear on the dimensionally-distorted ground. The Ludicolo jumped back into his ball; it was best to go back, out of the way, now that the Legendary Pokémon had left.

Siless shook at the events that just occured. "..I think.." he panted, "we should probably.. be leaving about now. Let's get to the outpost."

The Trainer began to walk in the direction of the outpost; he was still visibly shaken from the experience. All he wanted to do was to take his new captures and get headed home, where the Giratina most likely wouldn't follow.

    NBP

The exit to Meteor Valley was just up ahead, with the ranger post right next to it. It had been a long day full of adventure.
"Well, I have some paperwork to do on todays events." Serenity smiled meekly at Siless. Stars were twinkling brightly in the night sky, now that the clouds had cleared, and the air was cool and refreshing.
"I hope you accomplished all that you wanted to today, and that I did a good job escorting you through. Although, you are in one piece, so that's good." The young ranger shrugged, followed by a yawn.

Spiritomb was telling Sableye how impressed he was with her battle strategy, and what a good juggler she was. The female ghost blushed and giggled, assuring him that his battle was probably just as good. It sounded like they had drifted to the topic of sparring sometime in the near future.

Serenity felt incredibly proud, as her first job as a ranger was a success. Wind blew through her red-brown hair and whipped it around a tad. She stood waiting and ready to say her goodbyes to Sela and her trainer. Tomarrow, she would be taking someone else through Meteor Valley, and the girl wondered if it could possibly be as exciting, fun, and thrilling as her run with Siless.

    But a girl can hope.
