    BP

The sphere became flecks as a couple of the leaves sliced through. Their ability to confuse was gone, but there were now shards hurdling towards her. Sela took a small bit of damage from them, but nothing serious. Another couple of magical leaves made contact with Spiritomb, and he took a bit more damage than his opponent. Especially because his guard was down in order to finish it hastily.

He was impressed by her ability to so easily switch between offense and defense, though he'd never admit it out loud. Rocks were soon hurled at him, the same ones he himself had knocked around. In an effort to reduce damage taken, the pokemon reverted back to his keystone form. It ended up increasing it though. After a moment, he clambered out of the heap and.. sat there.

    Re: Individual RP: Siless

Siless was surprised to see the Spiritomb retreat into Keystone form, and even more surprised to see it battered around. The Keystone stumbled out of the pile of rocks launched at it; it seemed to have lost all energy, though it managed to dig itself out of whatever rocks it was under.

"Sela, try to clear the rocks away! I need a clear shot!" Siless began to dig out a Park Ball from his pocket; the Spiritomb was defenseless, so it seemed to be the perfect time to use it.

The Gardevoir swept the rocks back to the walls quickly with her psychokinetic powers. Within seconds, only the Keystone remained.

"Alright, here goes!" Siless launched the Park Ball with this cry; Sela gave it a push with her psychic powers to speed it along.

As the ball sailed through the air, Siless gave Sela some last-minute instructions. "If this doesn't work, we need to be ready. Have a Hypnosis prepared, and get ready to take the Park Ball."

Sela nodded; the Spiritomb was at least tired, but still powerful, and they needed to be prepared in case it could retaliate.

    NBP?

The Park Ball rammed into the Spiritomb, who continued to sit there. A flash of red light, and the pokemon wa gone. Only a ball remained. It gave a tiny wiggle. Then another one. Finally, it clicked. The Park Ball stayed still. Another flash of red light, and he exited it.
"Okay, you captured me. Now onto business." He said. "Come on out!"

"Cleh!?" Echoed through the cave. Out of the shadows, came- toddled a Cleffa. It was small and tiny, and looked terrified. The poor thing's eyes were bloodshot and swollen, and it's face was red and puffy, which amplified the deep cut on it's cheek.
"Clah! Fabel, Clah, clafabel." This one looked weak and tired. Somewhat old as well. Her left eye was half closed, and there was a scar above it. A small section of her 'wings' were completely absent. One of her ears was crooked. The Clefable's smallest finger was gone on one hand, and she seemed to walk with a limp. She caught up with the Cleffa and held it tight to her battered leg.

"She wants you to get her child out of here before she dies, so they don't have to witness their mother's death." The Spiritomb said, as the beginning of a long explaination.

    (OOC-Female, please)

The Clefable was far beyond being able to survive her wounds... The most anyone could do was make it more comfortable in its final moments..

Siless took off his jacket, revealing a black t-shirt, and wrapped it around the mother Pokémon.. The blood loss had to make her cold, and it was a small sacrifice to make in exchange for her comfort in her final moments.

"We'll take care of your little one. We won't let anything happen to her." Siless wasn't sure how much the promise comforted it, but he wasn't going to go back on it.

If we have to fight off whatever did this, so be it. We'll make sure that nothing will hurt Cleffa.

Sela picked up the little Cleffa, and a great sadness started flowing through her horn.. She didn't expect anything this horrible to happen, but she had to help out; she couldn't leave them in need, and it seemed her Trainer couldn't either.

Cleffa started crying when she was separated from her mother; she knew what was happening, but she still found it difficult. Sela held the little Pokémon to her horn in an attempt to comfort it.

"Shh.. It'll be alright,"Sela told the little one. "We won't let anything happen to you.."

"We won't let you down," Siless told the Clefable. They had to make sure the Cleffa got out safely..

The Trainer turned to his Ranger and the Spiritomb. "We need to get out of here, and fast. Whatever did this has to be close by."

"I certainly hope it has yet to come back. It happened several days back. There was a cave in, or an earthquake, or both-among other things; but that was the initial cause. I've been taking care of them, trying to nurse Clefable back to health. The reason she took so much damage was to protect her baby. Although the fact that she already wasn't in the best of health certainly didn't help." Spiritomb explained, knowing that Sela would translate his words, as he wasn't sure if the humans understood him.

"Are you sure we can trust them?" The dying pokemon asked her friend/caretaker.
"They care for their pokemon very much. And their pokemon return that feeling." He assured her.

    BWAAASH!!!

The ground shook violently, and Stalactites crashed to the ground. A noise could be heard, that sounded like a pokemon crying in agony.
"That's the sound that I heard earlier!" Serenity shouted over the noise.

"If it has yet to come back, then what it needs to do is rest... If it's an earthquake and a cave-in that dealt the damage, should she rest here? Other than a few stalactites, it's the most stable room in the cave we came across, and we may end up hurting more than helping if we try to bring her out..."

A cry of pain pierced through the room; it was almost certainly a Pokémon, but the echoing of the cave as well as the pure pain of the cry prevented Siless from identifying it.

"We should find it; we may be able to help out." Siless once again released his Ludicolo from his Pokéball. "If the aftershocks cause another cave-in, Teddson should be able to direct it away from everyone with Nature Power. If that blocks the path, he can use it again to dig a path out, right, Teddy?"

"Ludi! Ludi!" the Ludicolo shouted in affirmation; it was good that Teddson was full of confidence, as he needed it for the task set for him.

"Sela, can you tell where that cry came from?" If the Gardevoir could sense the pain, they would have an idea of where to go from here.

    BP?

The noise bounced off the walls, ceiling, and floor far too much to tell it's origin. Sela was able to tell that it was in pain though.
"I think it might be banging itself up against the walls, judging by the sound and vibrations. As the noise comes immediately after or at the same time as the cry." Serenity yelled over the thunder of the rocks falling.
"So, I assume it's of the rock, steel, ground, or maybe fighting type. It's unlikely that anything else would be capable of such a thing.

"CLAAAAAAAGH!!!" Cleffa screeched. She hated all the racket and being seperated from her mother. The 'earthquakes' began to worsen, as did the distressed sound. This gave reason to believe that it was getting closer.
Serenity didn't look to thrilled with the earsplitting cry either, made worse by her strong hearing.

"So something's causing these quakes... and whatever it is, it sounds like it's in pain.."

"CLAAAAAAGH!" The Cleffa startled the Gardevoir holding her; she most likely didn't want to be seperated from her mother, but the noises were likely causing her a headache as well. Sela held the Pokémon close to her and began to use a Charm; the 'attack' calmed other young Pokémon, and even if it didn't work as well as she intended, the visuals of the attack, hearts dancing around the target, may entertain the young Cleffa.

Siless thought he should help Sela out, but the Gardevoir motioned for him, making it known that she wanted to try to take care of the Cleffa herself; with the Cleffa's mother badly hurt, it seemed that her own motherly instincts were kicking in.

"Your mother needs to rest, little one. I... We can protect you.. until she's better.. But she needs to rest until she's better.. and we need to find whatever's causing these quakes so she can rest safely.."

Siless knew what had to be done if the Cleffa decided to come along; it'd be dangerous to have her out if it came with the group. He pulled out a Parkball, sensing what Sela was trying to do.

    "Would you come with us?"

    NBP?

"Ih- if mommy and mishter Speewitome th-think I should..." Cleffa whimpered. The cut on her cheek stung from her salty tears. Meanwhile, Sapphire had snuck off quietly into the shadows of the cave, in order to help bury the dead. Clefable couldn't take the shaking and died. However, a faint smile was left imprinted on her face, as she knew that her child would be safe.

The Empoleon was fashioning a coffin of ice and fallen rocks around what appeared to be a dozing pokemon. She knew the body would be thoroughly protected. Lastly, a dazzling flower was constructed out of ice, which she placed delicately on top of the memorial.

Cleffa reached out her little, stubby arm to touch the mysterious ball. With a nod of approval from the Spiritomb, she pressed the button as the ghost type motioned to do. A minor beam of red light, and the pink pokemon was no longer in Sela's arms. It instantly clicked shut.

A magnificent crash echoed through, creating an upheaval of dust and debri. The pained pokemon found them.

Dust enveloped the room; whatever caused this couldn't be seen. A large amount of rocks rained down from the downed wall; Ludicolo drew upon the power of the cave, the Nature Power sliding the rocks to the other walls instead of at the group.

"Sela, rest up a bit. Let Teddson handle it; the last battle took a lot out of you." The Gardevoir backed up to the ranger at this point; Siless considered returning Sela to her ball, but she seemed to want to cheer Teddson on.

"Alright, Teddy! It's up to us!"

"Ludi-COLO!" The Grass-Type stood strong, certain that whatever stood behind the cloud of dust could be held off. "Colo... Colo... Colo!" Teddson started chanting; the rhythm helped him fight, it seemed, and he was getting ready for a large battle.

    BP?

As the dust settled, a large metallic blue pokemon was revealed. It was a Metang. Closer inspection showed that one of it's arms seemed to be twice as long as the other one. That arm was being waved around so violently, a closer look was not possible.

"GRAAAAAAGH!!!" It cried out, as it slammed it's lengthy appendage into the ground, causing yet another small quake. Afterwards, the Metang's arm stayed still for a mere moment, but long enough for the problem to be identified. A Beldum was attatched to it's arm. The pokemon's claws on the end of it's body were stuck to the claws of the larger's arm. Dispite both pokemon being super-smart, being trapped on one another made all logic fly out the door.

As the Metang slammed it's arm into the cave floor, one could see a Beldum stuck to its claws. "Is this what's been in pain...?"

"Sela! We need your help! The Beldum's stuck on the Metang!"

The Gardevoir jumped onto the field from where Serenity stood. She was ready for battle, even though she was just told to rest moments prior.

Right now, the priority was to make unstuck the two Pokémon. If they wanted to battle after, the Trainer had no choice but to oblige.. leaving them mad in the cave would be as destructive as leaving them attached.

"Sela! Hold the Beldum down with your Psychic! Teddson, use your Astonish to try and scare them apart!"

The Gardevoir began to glow a bright blue in an attempt to hold down the smaller Pokémon. The Ludicolo, meanwhile, took on a dark glow as his lips and eyes seemed to grow an abnormally large amount. A loud shout emerged from the Ludicolo, creating a dark shockwave that made its way to the Metang and Beldum in an attempt to make them flinch. Hopefully, the flinching would make them retract their claws, and the knockback of the shockwave would seperate the two Pokémon. Still, if this didn't work, Siless wouldn't be disappointed. There was still more ways to separate the two Pokémon, and he just needed to come up with those ways...

"No wonder they've been causing so much trouble." Serenity voiced. "Although I must wonder how on earth they got like that in the first place." She added, doubting that their claws were the only things causing it. Her pokemon were putting the finishing touches on the grave, and Spiritomb had floated over to help out. They were carving pictures of some of the Clefable's favorite things into the wall.

The Psychic 'attack' angered them, and even caused a bit of damage. The two Metagross pre-vos shrieked in agony, and continued to squirm, which only seemed to be making things worse. Unfortunately, Astonish did nothing through their rage. They began hurdling towards Sela, launching a two-pokemon Take Down.

    "Sela! Protect yourself!"

The Gardevoir put up a shield, putting most of its energy towards the front, where the team of Metang and Beldum would strike.

"The Take Down may end up breaking through the shield, Sela," Siless warned the protecting Pokémon. "Be careful out there, alright?"

"I'll be fine; it's better that I take the Take Down then the walls here. Even Teddson hitting them into the wall would be better than them striking it themselves."

Siless nodded, though he wasn't sure if his Gardevoir could see it while maintaining her shield. He turned his attention to the Ludicolo. "Teddson! Once the Take Down hits the shield, charge into them with a Waterfall! When you've knocked them away, try to force them apart with a Hydro Pump!"

Flinching didn't seem to work to separate the two Pokémon, so Siless had decided that the next step was brute force. Even if the two stayed together, they'd be weaker and wet; he considered that it might be easier to slip the pair apart in that state.

She put up a Protect just as the pokemon crashed into her, or rather, the shield. Bouncing back onto the ground, the Ludicolo readied his attack. The angry steel types were quickly doused with water from Teddson. It temporarily stunned them however. They levitated in place, quite unhappy with being wet. Sela took a deep breath and used Psychic on them, using uttmost care.

Using her abilities, the Gardevoir untangled them as they struggled. After they cried in pain from the 'treatment' they both half-colapsed on the ground- exhausted.

"What do you wanna do with them? Leave them alone, or try to get away?" Serenity asked Siless. At the same time, she wondered how they would get out, as the way they came had become partially destroyed. Spiritomb seemed to be thinking the same thing as he floated by to investigate the hole the Beldum and the Metang had created.

    Re: Individual RP: Siless

"Let's try to leave. They probably won't be a problem now that they're separated." Siless motioned to the large opening the pair of Pokémon had come through, noting that the Spiritomb seemed to be examining it. "If the Pokémon made their way in through there, there's got to be a way through, right?"

The Trainer worked his way past the two weakened Steel-types, making sure to watch for any activity; if they got up while the group was still there, they may go back to attacking. The Ludicolo followed close behind, while the Gardevoir came last.

"Are we up for it?" the Trainer asked the rest of the group. He stood in the large, makeshift 'doorway' to further into the caverns, and hopefully out. He didn't advance in; he was determined to keep watch on the two Pokémon while the rest of the group was in the room, and he and his Pokémon were the ones that had to react if they stirred and started to cause trouble again.

    NBP?

Serenity and all the pokemon followed, leaving the wild ones behind. Spiritomb floated to the front to check everything for safety, and for a while, all was smooth.
After a few minutes of walking, they came to a fork. One path sloped down, the other stayed horizontal. The horizontal route had two blinking yellow eyes glowing in the distance at least three feet off the ground.

Out of the shadows came a golden-eyed Absol. It tilted it's head curiously. Slowly, it came closer, silent as could be. Trodding forward, the white-furred pokemon looked up at us, unsure what to make of us.
"Any intrest in an Absol?" Serenity quietly asked Siless.

    Re: Individual RP: Siless

(OOC-Doesn't really matter to me, but female, I guess)

"I'd like one, but we need to work on getting out of here."

Siless admired the Pokémon, but he felt it was too much for him to handle on top of the Spiritomb.. He knew his Pokémon could take it on in battle, but he himself felt too exhausted to be able to keep up the high-scale battling that these Pokémon required. He wouldn't mind if it tagged along for a while, however. He could always come back if it was still here at a later park run, and if it wasn't, then it must have a good trainer by then.

    "Should we go on?"

Siless was conflicted on what path to take; the path sloping down would probably lead further into the cave, but the horizontal path may just lead to the Absol's home.

Sela could sense her Trainer's concerns and voiced them to the wild Absol. "Excuse us, but could you tell us how to get out of these caverns? There was a cave-in on the path that led us here.."

    BP?

The Absol stared at the humans with glowing eyes, curious as to what was going on. After a moment, she lifted uo her paw and pointed in the direction of the way she had come.
"So, this way then." Serenity said. She walked to the tunnel, but the pokemon sidestepped and blocked her passage.
"Um... I don't think she's done with us yet..."
Sapphire and Amethyst went over and tried to reason with the pokemon, but with no avail. Absol simply continued to blink at them, as if she wanted something.
"What now?" The ranger asked her trainer.

    Re: Individual RP: Siless

"I'm sorry, but we'd like to get out of here as soon as possible," Siless told the Absol. The Dark-type Pokémon didn't seem hostile to him, though. He thought there may be another reason for it to block the group besides wanting a battle. The Pokémon was known for being able to predict disasters; it may be blocking the group to prevent them from stumbling into one, or it may be trying to direct them to help with one that would occur in the near future.

"Is there anything you want us to do?" the Trainer asked the Absol. His Gardevoir spoke to the Pokémon as well, trying to persuade it of her Trainer's noble intentions. She thought that it couldn't hurt to help persuade the Absol; it didn't know the Trainer approaching it very well, and having another vouch for him may help. (Teddson partook in no helping whatsoever; instead, he chanted to himself, dancing to imaginary music while the other two made their case to the Absol).
