Scamper had delivered the blow just in time. The Arbok's attack had been prevented. Not only that, the Arbok also had enough and retreated, dropping two more Star Crystals. I grabbed them and put them in the safe box.

"Great job Scamper, Im proud of you." I said to him smiling. I pulled out his Pokeball and pressed the center button. "Take a nice rest good rest buddy, I'll need you again soon." Shadow nudge on my leg as he insisted that we move on. "Guess you're cured from poison now, great to hear." I said happily. "We shall move on then." I walked on the path, continuing through the woods, hoping to find some interesting evidence that would help me solve this mission.

Not far ahead I noticed a large tree in the center of the path. It divided the path into two different paths. I was not sure which one I was going to pick, but I was sure that something was in the trunk of the tree. I was hoping it wouldn't attack us, but given the circumstances, and the luck we had tody, I was guessing that it would. I only wished I knew why.​

It wasn't long before a green, red striped chameleon made its appearance known to us. It examined us as we took a few steps back, allowing the green Pokemon to jump out of the tree. We knew we were going to have to battle this tricky Pokemon by the way it looked at us. It seemed to be in a trance of some sort, angrily hissing at us as it stepped forward. I always found these Pokemon to be extremely interesting creatures. They could bend the light around them so they could blend with their surroundings. They could also change their type to match their opponents last move, both which at times gave it the advantage and disadvantage.

The Kecleon didn't wait for use to make a move, instead, it opened its mouth, creating high pitched screams, similar to the ones Scampers had used. I covered my ears and nelt down besides Shadow so he could hear. "Use Taunt," I yelled out. "That should stop it from using those types of moves. Then, use Hidden Power on it, I got a plan." Shadow nodded, as he began making faces at the Kecleon, trying to do anything he could think of to anger the Normal type Pokemon. After that took place, he'd once again create the same whitish blue orbs from before, but less this time, making them more powerful.

Kecleon used charged forward and used Slash which did more damage that I had expected. Shadow's Hidden Power attack hit the Kecleon. The chameleon's body began to change from a deep green color to a light blue color, which meant its type had changed from Normal to Ice type. Now that that had happened, I could do some serious damage with Shadow's Flamethrower attack.

"Shadow, use Flamethrower now, full blast." I called out. Shadow grinned at me as he began to charge up a Flamethrower. He arched his head back as the flames grew bigger, then brought it down and shot it at the Kecleon.

"Great job Shadow, now finish this with Dark Pulse." I called out. The Kecleon had taken the Flamethrower as a direct hit. It hadn't knocked it out or sent it fleeing like I had hoped, but it did managed to bring its health down more or less to the point where one last attack would do the trick. If we were lucky, and percise, this attack would do the trick. The Kecleon had managed to use Ancient Power on us, luckily it didn't get the power up it needed for this battle.

Shadow stared down the Kecleon, harboring any dark thoughts he could gather in his mind. He focused them together to make them stronger. He closed his eyes as a black began to form in front of his head, growing bigger and bigger with the more dark thoughts that ran in his head. Finally, when he'd gathered enough, the black beam formed into a circle and with a quick burst, shot at he Kecleon.

The Kecleon had run off, just as I had anticipated. Shadow's attack was strong enough to drive it away, meaning once again, Shadow had done his part. My plan woked prettty well, using his ability against him. Shadow and I began walking on the path, waiting to see what else would pop up.

After walking a while down the path, I noticed a deep green glow coming from a little up ahead. It looked relaxing, but I knew to expect something to attack us with the way our luck was going. The green glow came into focus and I could see a dark green crystal with what looked like something dorment inside.

I placed my right hand on the crystal, which felt surprisingly warm. As I removed my hand a bright light flashed and a small light green Pokemon floated where the crystal had. I knew then that it was the legendary time traveling Pokemon, Celebi. At first, it didn't look as if it wanted to battle, but that quickly changed.

"Just our luck," I said to Shadow. "I know you won't let its small size trick you, be careful. Start this off with a Nasty Plot and Dark Pulse combo like earlier." Once again, Shadow began creating a devious plan to take down Celebi. He was powering himself up before he launched the ring of dark energy.

"Good job Shadow, now attack it with Flamethrower, but don't knock it out yet, try and make it stay for a while longer." I called out. Flamethrower was already a powerful move, and super-effective at that, but Celebi was a legend, so I knew it wouldn't go down with this attack. Shadow began forming flames in his mouth, but not the usual bluish, white hot flames. These were just regular red orange flames, they were pretty hot, just not as much.

I saw the Celebi had begun using Recover, I knew I had to stop it quickly or this battle would take too long. "Shadow, use Taunt, then if it charges at you, use Fire Fang." I called out. I was hoping that after Shadow taunted the Celebi with mocking jestures, that Celebi would charge at him with an attack, one that I was hoping he could counter with Fire Fang. Fire Fang was just a Bite attack with flames. Shadow would open his mouth wide, preparing to chomp down had on Celebi, then his mouth would fill with flames, often times inflicting a burn ot flinch.

I tossed out Scamper's Pokeball next to be. "Stand by for battle." I said to him.

"I guess Taunt or Fire Fang didn't work boy." I said as I saw Celebi using Calm Mind. It was raising its Special Defense and Attack. I was going to have to raise Special Attack, especially since Fire Fang didn't work either. "Alright, since neither of those two moves worked, stand down and use Rest, Scamper, you go in and use Swords Dance and Blaze Kick." Scamper nodded and moved towards the Celebi. He would then quickly form three illusion swords that would circle around him, that would raise his attacks sky high. Then he would charge at the Celebi and kick it with his blazing hot fire-flamed foot. I took out my Santa's Charm Locket, and used it.

 

OOC: No, I haven't sorry. BTW, The Celebi hit Scamper with a Thunder Wave, but it got KOed afterwards. That's why there's a PRZ on Scamper.

Scamper's attack went off well. The Celebi had retreated for some reason, perhaps it had came to its senses. Before it left, it paralyzed Scamper and dropped two Santa Suits. I brought out Mindbender's Pokeball again let her out. "Can you use Heal Bell again and cure his paralysis?" I asked my Psychic Pokemon. I knew she could, but forcing Pokemon to do things wasn't what I did. She nodded and began chanting a spell. I watched and waited to see if any other Pokemon was going to come by. So far, I only knew that the items caused the Pokemon to act a certain way, but I didn't know why. I figured I would find out soon, I just didn't know how soon.​
