It seemed like in every battle, Scamper was getting hurt with some kind of status problem. I was going to have to call him back and get that taken care of. Mindbender hadn't been in a battle for a while now, so using her would be good since she still had a lot of energy left.

"Scamper, come back." I said, tossing him a Full Heal. "Mindbender, you go in there and start us off with a Calm Mind, then go into a Thunderbolt attack. Focus on hitting him with a good amount of your power." Mindbender moved forward and the top part of her head began to glow a deep relaxing blue color. She was preparing herself to attack the Aerodactyl with electricity. After Calm Mind was completed, she would create sparks around her body and then launch a bolt of electricity out of her body and into the flying pterodactyl. ​

Mindbender and Aerodactyl exchanged attacks, she landed her Thunderbolt, and he landed his Crunch attack. Immediately after preforming his Crunch attack, he flew up high into the sky. Judging by the way the hail was falling, it didn't seem like a good idea to be flying at the moment. I was going to have Mindbender Protect herself and then use Thunderbolt off the rebound.

"Okay, now use Protect, and as soon as he moves back from the hit, give him a nice, strong Thunderbolt attack to finish this off." I told Mindbender. She began preparing a small shield of green energy that was going to surround her and take the attack. Then after the Aerodactyl attacked, she would let loose another Thunderbolt attack, hopefully doing what damage we needed to win this.​

IC: "Nice job, now let's get out of here before he decides to come back." I said, as we headed down the path moving pretty fast. They didn't need to heal anything right now, they had a good amount of energy left. I found it kind of funny that the Spearow put up much more of a fight that the Aerodactyl did. The hail appeared calming down a bit, but it was still falling down. I saw another white glowing orb that had teleported me earlier, but I stayed away from this one. I didn't want to get teleported again, at least not until I had investigated this area a bit more.​

Pokemon just kept popping up, some more angrier than others. This Pidgeotto that showed up appeared to be in the middle of the angry scale of the Pokemon I've seen today. These Pokemon were just out of control, attacking for no reason at all. I knew what I had to do though.

"Alright Mindbender, you're up again." I said, deciding to start off the battle slow. "Use Icy Wind to slow down the Pidgeotto." She nodded and began taking in the cold air around her through several small breaths. After a couple of moments, she blew out and released a beam of wind with shining blue bits of snow towards the Flying type Pokemon.​

Pidgeotto returned the Icy Wind with a Whirlwind, which pushed Gardevoir back and somehow brought Shadow forward. This was rather odd, but I decided to go with it. "Okay, since you're out Shadow, use Flamethrower and scorch that bird. That's all I want you to do for now." I said. I just wanted to use a move that would do a decent amount of damage to it, I knew it wouldn't knock it out, or make it want to leave for that matter.

Shadow arched his head back and brought up the flames he had stored within. The flames stopped at his mouth, but he continued charging the attack. Finally, when he felt it was big and hot enough, he released the red hot fire in a stream of flames towards the Bird Pokemon.​

"Alright Shadow, that was good." I said. So far nothing bad was happening. "Now I just want you to finish this battle off with Sludge Bomb." This move was what I should have used from the start. It had a better chance of poisoning the Pidgeotto, and the battle might have been done a lot faster.

When he used Sludge Bomb, Shadow would fire a stream of brown sludge from his mouth. It would explode once it hit the bird. It was a pretty strong move that delivered a pretty dangerous effect if activated.​

The Pidgeotto had enough and flew away. Shadow looked pretty beat up from all the battling he had done. I quickly gave him a Max Potion to heal him back to full health. Now that that was done, we could move on and see what else we'd find. I had a feeling the end was pretty near. We had already come far, but I didn't feel that we'd learned anything other than they were angry and they dropped items.​

We continued walking on the path. I had just noticed that perhaps I shouldn't be on this path. Perhaps I should've went my own way rather than sticking to this path with wild, angry Pokemon always attacking us. I got snapped back from my train of thought when I saw a whitish yellow glow up ahead. It was quite large. I didn't know what it was. It didn't look like the transport orb I had seen earlier, so I slowly approached it. As I did, I noticed an outline begin to appear. It looked sort of like a Stantler, but much, much bigger. It was only then that I realized when I said I felt the end was near, I didn't know how right I was.

I knew what that figure was. "Oh God, help me." I cried out in surprise, only to remember that God couldn't help me against himself. A large white, deer shaped Pokemon stood before me. I bowed my head in its presence. It was truly an honor to stand in front of this Pokemon, the God of all Pokemon, Arceus. I had just wish it were under better circumstances and that I was not about to be attacked.

Strange thoughts began going through my head. What was I going to do? How could I possibly fend this off? More importantly, what was so powerful that it would even effect the God of Pokemon? I had all these questions, but no answers. I knew I didn't have a choice but to fight it, there was no way I could out run this Pokemon even if I had the fastest Pokemon in the world.

"Okay Scamper, you're up first." I called out. "I know you don't want to battle Arceus out of respect, but we don't have a choice here. Something is wrong with him and he won't be all there, so we may just have a chance in calming him down and fending him off." Scamper looked at me and nodded, he knew I was right. "Okay, right now its in normal form, so start this battle off with an Aura Sphere, don't hold back. Protect yourself at all costs." I called out.

Aura Sphere was Scamper's signature move, and was strong as hell, or at least I hoped it was in this case. Scamper would cuff his two hands together and focus the aura he had inside of him into a blue energy ball. Then he would fire the blue ball of energy towards the Arceus. I wasn't expecting it to do much damage, but it was going to start off this battle. ​

Aura Sphere was a success, but the Arceus was too fast for us. He grabbed Scamper and jumped up high in the air, slamming him down hard into the ground. He had used Seismic Toss, a fighting move that was super effective on Scamper. I noticed that the God of all Pokemon had changed his color to brown, which meant he had changed his type from Normal, to Ground. I was going to use this to my advantage. I knew that Ground type were weak to Grass, Ice, and Water type moves. The only move that Scamper's knew that would do a lot of damage was Ice Punch, but I was going to have to power it up with Swords Dance.

"Okay Scamper, use Swords Dance and then go in with Ice Punch using the speed of Quick Attack." I called out. I was scared to find out what would happen if the Arceus began getting back his senses.

Scamper would create illusionary swords around his body. They would circle around rapidly as he raised his attack. Then he'd freeze his fists and launch himself into a Quick Attack. Right before he reached the God, he'd swing his fists back, and back forward at an incredible force.​

"Excellent job Scamper, now I want you to use Aura Sphere again at full blast. I want you to be careful not to get knocked out. Use Protect if you have too." I said, pulling out the second Santa's Charm Locket that I had. This Legendary god Pokemon was going to have to be brought back to his senses. It wasn't everyday you get to battle the god of Pokemon. I could feel his power surging from his body. He roared loudly, if only Arceus was in his right state of mind I could ask him all the questions I had, but those would have to wait until another time.

All I needed was to keep Scamper conscious and not have Arceus knock him out while he preformed his signature move. Scampers formed two small blue balls of energy and fired them at Arceus. ​
