He quickly formed a mouthful of flames in his mouth and fired a stream of fire towards Dialga. I wasn't sure how the legend would respond, but Shadow had to be ready to throw up the protective shield if a powerful move came his way.​

"Alright Shadow, give him one last Flamethrower, but use it at full Blast. If he attacks you, use Sucker Punch to finish him off." I shouted. I noticed the ripples in the sky were growing bigger. I wasn't quite sure, but I had a feeling Dialga was about to go through the distortion hole in the sky. "Watch out Shadow, he might go out with a bang."

Shadow moved forward, bring up more flames from inside of his body towards the surface. As he did, he was keeping an eye on Dialga for any sudden movements so he could strike hard with Sucker Punch is the Legend attacked.​

Just as I had expected, Dialga jumped through the space ripple in the sky. A bright flash blinded me but when it cleared, the sky was clear again. A small object fell down from the place that Dialga disappeared. As it hit the ground, I saw that it was a suit that the other Legends had dropped. I picked it up and put it with the others I had collected. "Let's go that way now. See what's over there." We walked towards the foot of the mountain, unsure if we wanted to go up or around this mountain. "Should we go up?" I asked Shadow. He let out a low bark as he pointed with his tail towards the side of the mountain. "Alright, that's the way we'll go then." ​

We were halfway around the mountain when I noticed it was not snowing on the area we were at. I looked around and most of the snow at this particular area had melted, it shouldn't have come to be much of a surprise since this was a volcano, but it was just this area that was melted. I looked around, but couldn't find any Fire Pokemon or lava. When I looked into the sky all I saw was a series of small rainbows connected between the clouds. It was a beautiful sight, I was kind of disappointed that I hadn't brought my camera, but even more disappointed when I heard a loud squawking sound coming from above. I looked up and saw the magnificent rainbow-colored Legend, Ho-oh coming towards us.

"If this were any other day, I'd be thrilled. This can't be good." I said to Shadow as Ho-oh approached us, the same angry look that the others had on. "Mindbender, you're up. Standby for battle." The green and black Psychic Pokemon emerged from her holding container. She looked at me and then up to the Legend.

"Let's wait and see if it attacks." I called out to Mindbender. "If it does then use Calm Mind, then quickly go into attack position and use Thunderbolt." Mindbender moved forward towards the Ho-oh, carefully as she began clearing her mind. I could see sparks of electricity forming around her body as she waited for the Ho-oh to make the first move.

Ho-oh preformed its notorious Sacred Fire move that was both awesome, yet terrifying. I wasn't sure if Mindbender would survive another attack, but I didn't want to risk it. I was going to have to have her use Wish and follow it up with a Psychic attack, it was the only move I knew that Mindbender could do with ease.

"Use Wish Mindbender, protect yourself with Psychic. Try and redirect any incoming attacks to Ho-oh. It's extremely powerful, but you can do it." I yelled out loud. The flames from the legendary rainbow bird Pokemon had began to die down. I looked back at Shadow. I wanted to put him in to battle, but I knew Mindbender wanted to do this. It was extremely risky, but I had faith in her. She began chanting a calming spell that caused her body to glow white. I knew that was Wish and that it was the first stage of that attack. She had to wait a while for her health to recharge. While she did, she began gathering items around her such as rocks and small tree branches that rotated around her. Those were to protect her from any incoming attacks, or at least lessen the damage. They were also there for her to launch at Ho-oh.​

"Okay, no sense in putting you in the risk of fainting, stand over here next to me. Scamper you're in." I said, tossing his Pokeball in front of me. It was extremely risky putting him in, probably even more so than Mindbender since Fire-type moves were super effective against him. I had to believe that he could do it, otherwise he would probably be knocked out.

"Scamper, combine Extremespeed with Thunderpunch. I want you to attack Ho-oh at full power. Don't hold back, he's not in his right state of mind right now and he won't hold back in attacking you." Scamper looked over to at Ho-oh and nodded. He knew what he had to do. He sprinted forward at full speed, bringing both of his fists back as the gathered energy from within his body. He was going to slam his fists into the rainbow bird at full speed. ​
