Since it's summer, why not an FFA tournament?
That can be fun.

 

FFA tourney takes a lot of attention and tons of activity that I'm not 100% sure we have right now.


Assuming @Monbrey; green-lights it, and @Synthesis; still wants to run it, I think Battle Factory is our best bet at the moment. If people desperately want some alternative, feel free to keep suggestions flowing, but at this point BF looks like it will take precedence, especially since most people probably want to see the next tourney by at least the start of August.

Also, bear in mind that PWN's Birthday Extravaganza thingy is going on too with URPG Battle Section stuff along with it.

If you're interested in Battle Factory as the next tourney, feel free to drop a like on this post or comment below so that we can get a good gauge for interest.

 

I hate FFA tourneys. They're inconsistent, rely heavily on activity to compete in every FFA, require compensation for whoever refs it, and usually end up with at least one argument over a rule that got used.

I'm cool with Battle Factory being run.

Pokemon Draft

Every sits around the table, which totally exists, and gets three URPG booster packs. Each pack contains four Pokemon (say, one OU, one BL, one UU, and one RU) and three items (also arbitrarily assigned value). You pick one thing out of the seven and pass your pack to the next person. Then you fight each other, using teams of 6 Pokemon, made from your 12 Pokemon and 9 items (unless you drafted one or the other more aggressively). Pokemon have every move and ability available, because reasons.

Someone figure out how to make this a reality, kthx.

 

I think a plain old 16 person 6v6 revo (or equiv) tourney would be fun

Battle Factory was the next one that I wanted to see too!

I've been really into drafts lately since the GBA league on YouTube started their season a month or so ago, and this is the closest thing we get to that. I'd really love to see a draft (possibly with two or three "divisions" so that the pool of mons could be repeated once or twice) but I fear we don't have the activity for it.

 

I still want to see Battle Factory style, but with legends.
