Things were going pretty well for Gray and his wanton Will-o-Wisps until Tyranitar got a word in edgewise against Arcanine. From there, Weir pulled off a couple of clutch usages of Power-up Punch and used Dragonite's raw power and Ambipom's weirdly broad moveset to clinch the victory.

Babyfights that went into a load of walling. Mawile did a surprising amount with Stockpile on its side. Once Sou figured out that she could use any and all EMs her Pokemon know, she countermoved pretty hard and used a bunch of defensive moves to boost her chances. K'sariya ended up with no answer to Sou's Gyarados and called it off.

Sou wins and gets $5,000.
K'sariya forfeits and gets $2,500.

Stealth Rock and Sticky Web made for an absolutely brutal combination that messed Luck up pretty good. Luck's Pokemon did their best, but between Jake's hazards and the Invitational making Rest + Sleep Talk walling an extremely viable strategy, it was for naught.

No special rule for babby's first FFA! Invitational rules make Sleep Talk the reffing equivalent of hard-mode. Everyone wanted to Rest for precious hit points constantly, so most KOs were the result of paper-thin defenses or brutal dogpiling. A proliferation of Psychic-types, combined with an early-game reaping of late sends and a Swords Dance setup, allowed the unlikely Parasect to become the victor.

Did you guys know that Spewpa gets, like, no moves? It's true, it really does have an alarming dearth of moves. Cyndaquil was untouched when Pidgeotto got to it and Fenris didn't get the chance to make up the gap, especially with a THMUNDER PUMBNCH [sic] paralyzing it.

This was gonna be a 6v6, but Clefable got an insanely good setup and Fenris didn't have a counter for it. Fenris tried to turn the trick with Attract while Clefable was confused, but it didn't take.

A pretty even and straightforward match; the main shake-ups were Jake rolling Pokemon that were absolutely abysmal for the situations he was in. SE lost Pokemon faster, but not by much, and none of Jake's Pokemon were able to escape Togekiss's superior flinchhaxing might.
