The dice were pretty wild this time around, with a lot of interesting misses and a pretty pivotal crit. Overall, Julio attempted some clever maneuvers, but favorable dicebot conditions in crits, misses, and picks helped Mako to carry a solid win.

Randoms shenanigans. Jolteon was able to Baton Pass a Growth onto Gengar, which led to a few-mon sweep before Espeon put a stop to it. After that it was mostly just a lot of straightforward back-and-forthing, with Evan lacking the EMs to make up the gap. also what is the head smash/shell smash meme

Helds plus randoms equals really interesting fireworks. Julio and A-Muk built up a good lead at the beginning, but Electivire set up just enough to turn the tides. Mega Alakazam was the nail in the coffin, and Julio forfeited when he ended up without any proper responses to it.

To illustrate how well the battlers did: this took four straight hours and nobody took long stretches of time to send. A few 'mons, like A-Muk and Serperior, barely got a few seconds' worth of battling in; others, like Hawlucha and Lapras, took center stage. Good plays with Dragonite and a few endgame stumbles from Julio allowed Weir to turn the battle in his favor.

Julio's Mismagius set up a sweep pretty early. Jack's Greninja put a stop to that fast, but when Julio rolled his own Greninja, the sweeping came right back. There was some trading at the end, but Julio had already won an advantage and Jack's last remaining 'mons weren't really equipped to deal with the frog.

Truly, a meme-tastic battle. The whole thing started as Salamence vs Salamence; Gardevoir got hold of Protean with Trace; Primarina and Greninja spent like three turns accomplishing literally nothing thanks to some wild PAR/ACC rolls. Chandelure set up and started cleaning the instant it got in.

Julio wins and gets $5,000.
SE loses and gets $2,500.

Baby fights, with some bulky Water-type vs bulky Water-type action. Did you know that Weedle, a Poison-type with poisonous spines all over it, doesn't get the Poison Point ability? Because it, for whatever reason, doesn't.

There were a lot of pauses in here so I don’t remember what happened terribly well. Metagross got a Meteor Mash boost and did some decent damage, but Spiritomb brought an end to it. Muk tried to wall in the eleventh hour, but lacked the moves to deal with Weavile and got death by a thousand cuts. Probopass and Minior were all that were left and got the business end of a Starmie for their troubles.
