Infernape was a horror show. It got a Swords Dance in and Close Combat/Acrobatics'd everything in sight. Purely stalled out a bit, but a well-timed TOX from Roselia pushed it over the edge.

And you guys thought Box rules were dead.

Ash's Pokemon were able to get some pretty fatal set-ups; Gardevoir got a Calm Mind and it took on Mummy, which hindered Ambipom's attacks afterward. Cradily got a Rock Polish and Swords Dance in and swept.

Fenris loses and gets $2,500.

Dicebot is not allowed to ever die on me again, ever. Togekiss was sweeping, but it got paralyzed and beefed it pretty hard. Fenris managed to end it by switching Pikachu in and letting it unleash its fiery beats upon Pichu.

It's all fun and games until Mega Gyarados enters a mock-Psychic Gym and gets three separate Dragon Dances in. There's not much to say here; it Mega-Evo'd to trip up Meowstic's Prankster and then Crunched through SE's team without much fuss.

Basics got everyone thirsty for blood before things kicked off. SE knew when to swap and brought in A-Ninetales to do some Blizzard sweeping. Fenris tried to take advantage of the hail, but Roserade outsped Walrein for the KO.

Fenris tried to set up with Will-o-Wisp like any good Ghost-type user but Weir flipped the script by sending in Houndoom, which set the tone for the rest of the battle. What Houndoom couldn't kill with its boost, Mamoswine countered.

Basics! Mako played a fun trick by switching Houndour into a Fire-type attack and used his newfound power to topple Cyndaquil, but Dewpider and its buckwild Water Bubble ability allowed it to turn the tides. Murkrow came in and set up; Mako saw no further path to victory.

Challenger SinnohEevee (Greninja, Arcanine, Salamence, Clefable, Mime Jr., Meowstic) vs Fortree Gym Leader Ash K. (Togekiss, Charizard, Murkrow, ???, ???, ???)

Togekiss tried some stunts and Murkrow put in solid work, but Mega Charizard-X was the star player for sure. Taking Salamence's Intimidate and its hits like a champ, Megazard set up, outspeeding and OHKOing a couple of Pokemon. SinnohEevee tried to make up the gap, but Murkrow and a Resting Megazard solidly outmaneuvered SE's Clefable and Arcanine.

Ash K. defends and gets $5,500.
SinnohEevee loses and gets $2,500.
I get $4,000.
