Individual RP: stone reaper

OOC: Try and avoid to say your move hit, like you did with Mud Slap. It is the role of the Ranger to determine if it hits or not. If you have any questions, just ask.


It was a quiet day in the office and the sounds of scribbles filled the small office at the end of the corridor. Scribble, Scribble, pause; Scribble, Scribble Pause. A young man walked down the corridor and poked his head into the office. "Hey Alex, I thought you would have gone by now," the young man said, watching as Alex buried his head further into his paper files.

"Gone?" Alex questioned and lifted his head up and stared into the eyes of the man. The man looked threatened and said, "Yes, The boss sent you and email, something about taking over a run at Mt. Deckbi. Alex quickly swiped the papers off his desk and started to fiddle with the computer screen. A small notification filled the home page and it redirected Alex to his mail when he clicked on the link.

"Alex, It had come to my attention you have been in your office for a while now, and I have assigned you to a run in Mt. Deckbi. I have sent a Pidove with the information to the outpost. Internet is easily hackable and valuable information can be handed out to the wrong people, Thanks for taking over the run Alex."


Alex looked bewildered, and confused by what he read. The boss had already assumed by the end of the email that Alex would take it, strange. Alex picked up his bag and made his way towards Mt. Deckbi's Outpost.

Alex, having rented a Park Jeep, drove towards Mt. Deckbi, scaling the rocky roads that escalated around the mountain. Everything looked find when all of a sudden, Alex drove over a small dangerous hole in the ground. The Jeep bounced and all of a sudden started feel like it was sinking. Alex popped his head over the side and noticed that the tire was torn, and now shreadings of tire were trailing behind. He quickly stopped the Jeep and hopped out, examining the tire. Great, I'll have to call out the squad for this


After Alex called out the Back-Up Squad, and decided to carry on the journey on foot. He started to walk down the path when he noticed a battle going on between a large Mudskipper-like Pokemon and a small crocodile Pokemon. Alex sat down and watched the battle take it's course, when he suddenly noticed a trainer standing beside the Swampert. Was this his trainer?

Swampert suddenly dug his large hands into the ground and started to throw mud around the terrain. The mud smacked onto the small Sandile, however it also made the terrain more slippery. Alex started to wonder that if Swampert used a water move, it would be a lot harder to stay on its own feet, rather than battle.

Swampert then opened his mouth and aimed a bolt of water towards the Crocodile Pokemon, however Sandile saw this attack coming and quickly dug underground. The water combined with the mud and created a slippery surface. Alex's worry came true. Sandile bounced in and out of the ground like a dolphin in the sea, creating a lot of small holes. It was creating an escape route to avoid attacks. Alex watched as it finally dived into one of the holes and stayed down there. Swampert looked confused and then all of a sudden, small sand tornado's bursted up from the ground. Sandile had concentrated the move Sandstorm into the holes, to inflict damage to Swampert. The small sand twisters collided into the large water Pokemon. Swampert braced the storm and planted its feet into the ground, standing strong. Sandile bounced back and so, the sandstorms faded.

Alex walked up to the trainer and introduced himself, certain he was his trainer, "Hello, I am Alex Fisher, and I will be your ranger. That is one trixy Sandile."

Swampert, was doing great out there but when I turned to my side and my Ranger was gone. I didn’t know were he had when to So I just continued, with the battle. Swampert’s Mud-Slap attack hit Sandile but Water Gun missed, the pokemon Sandile had seen the attack coming. Then dug underground as fast as in could Water Gun had missed the Pokemon, but made a slippery surface walking around would be hard to do. Then just as that thought popped, into my head Sandile started to jump up and down, out of the ground making holes to escape into when a attack come its way. Then the Sandle used Sand Storm attack. Small twisters came up out of the ground, it looked like the Sand Storm had inflict, damage on Swampert but Swampert was a ground type Pokemon. So I didn't worry about it then out the corner of my eye I spotted some one walking over to me.

"Hello, I am Alex Fisher, and I will be your ranger. That is one trixy Sandile."

“Nice to meet you, i’m Tiberius Dreamsmasher. So Ranger Shay left me thought he did. Well we should get on with the battle then I can introduce my self the right way”

This little Pokemon was smart, but I was smarter then it. Just because it had made lots of holes in the ground to escape into didn't mean I could not hit it. This was a great time to use a EarthQuake attack, it would weaken Sandile and slow it down this would give me time to think about how to take it down without Koing; it.


“Okay,Swampert use your EarthQuake attack”

Swampert looked at me then flashed me a evil Smile. My Swampert she like to make pain, and this next attack was going to make a lot of pain. Swampert jumped into the air. If you look close you can see her feet light up. This was her using her earth power she slammed into the ground with, full force. a small shock wave moved through the ground. Then the ground began to shake a little then it was like the ground had awaken. It opened up making small fissures in it. I lost my balance and fell right on my butt.

OCC: I don’t think you read this part specifically, so I’ll bold it. Please refrain from saying if a move hit, for example here it was Earthquake. You can go around saying, ‘He watched as Swampert started to sink its feet into the ground, preparing to unleash a powerful ground move upon Sandile.’


“Okay, Swampert use your Earthquake attack” Tiberius called.

Swampert nodded and planted its feet into the ground. The ground caved in, sealing the large feet. Swampert gave out a loud cry and suddenly created a large fissure, from where his feet where placed. The fissure was small, however on a second cry from Swampert, started to rub against each other. The overwhelming power swept Sandile off its feet, crashing into a nearby boulder. Alex staggered across to a small tree and held on for his life.

The tremors continued and Alex suddenly remembered something important. It was a ranger’s job to ensure that the environment around the park remains safe. Alex quickly shouted out to Tiberius; however the sound of the earthquake muffled his words. There was only one thing left to do.

“Lapillus, I need your assistance,” Alex said and he released a small red and white ball from his hand. From the white bright flash appeared a huge boulder Pokemon, and planted its feet into the ground, to prevent the earthquake from moving him around.

“Lapillus, use Rock Slide down into the fissure, to stop the Earthquake,” Alex shouted towards Lapillus. The Gigalith quickly summoned a row of rocks out in front of him and with little fuss, sent the rocks trailing towards the fissure. The rocks slammed into place and the tremors slowly ended.

Alex walked up to Tiberius and said, “Please remember where you are, if you want to use a move like Earthquake, try and concentrate it, so it doesn’t spread to the remaining surroundings. Once Alex had finished speaking, he turned around and stared at the empty space where Sandile crashed against the boulder. Instead of the Sandile, was a small hole leading into the ground beneath them.

The Earthquake had work, but I Destroyed some more of the park again.

“Sorry, about that Alex guess I got carried away in my own world again. I’ll be more careful about what move I use next time. So I don’t cause a lot of damage to the environment.

Now, the question was what move do i use to finish off Sandle, so I can capture it. Earthquake had closed all of the holes, Sandile had made and any left would do no good since Ranger Alex had his Pokemon use Rock Slide attack. Now that Sandile is weak it is time to end this battle, Swampert’s Hydro Pump attack would be a nice move to end it with, but it might KO; it. So that move was out, a Whirlpool attack could to so damage it was not that strong of a move, but could be the move I need to end this battle. I really wanted to use Whirlpool but there was one move that could send, Sandile into the next world with out KOing; it. Hammer Arm attack as long as Swampert didn’t use, all of her power attacking it this would end the battle for me.

“Okay, Swampert use your Hammer Arm attack on Sandile now. And Swampert try not to make it fanit!”.

Swampert, took off as fast as she could. Her arm began to glow she was readying the attack. She got about half way there when I took out my Parkball. then through it in the air. After this I had one parkball left, but if things went my way I would not have to use it.

 

“Okay, Swampert use your Hammer Arm attack on Sandile now. And Swampert try not to make it fanit!” Tiberius announced.

Swampert roared out loud, geared up and ready to attack. The Swampert raised its front two stumpy legs in the air. It clenched the legs together, into a small compact fist like shape. The clenched legs slowly glowed in a bright white light. Swampert roared again as it slammed down its clenched legs onto the small Crocodile Pokemon. Sandile went flying threw the air, colliding into small boulders and tree’s on the way. It crash landed into the gravel and slide across the ground. Tiberius kissed his Parkball and threw it towards the grounded Pokemon. The ball bounced open and a red laser sucked in Sandile. The ball rolled around on the floor, from left to right, until suddenly. Click!

Alex reached down and picked up the Parkball and stuffed it in his rucksack. He was about to congratulate Tiberius when suddenly Tiberius said, “Thanks Alex, however I have to go now. Is it possible you could escort me out of the park?”

Alex smiled and simply led Tiberius down a small path. The Ranger HQ lay at the bottom of the trail.
