"I don't care how much it wants to battle, I don't have any moves to counter it accept for Close Combat or some of Major Yu's, my Drapions, bugs moves, but he is still very weak from his previous battle against Solrock." Ace started to retreat away from the Poochyena, showing his disinterest clearly. Flareon followed him but spun around as she heard a bark, deeper than before. A mightyena stood behind Poochyena, scowling. She scooped him up by the scruff of the neck and started walking. I laughed at the disobedient Poochyena as it was carried away.

"Shall we keep going?" I asked the relieved Ace. He nodded happily and we started walking up the hills. The grassy verges soon started to become rocky and less green than before. We decided to take a pause when we reached a clearing. There was an odd celestial pattern carve into the ground

"Fa, fa!" a Cleffa squeaked as it came into view, tilting her head at the two humans and the flaming dog.

"Good, no more Poochyena!" Ace said in joy, and he and Evelyn watched as the Mightyena disappeared with her child, making the two of them chuckle. Evelyn sighed and nuzzled up against Ace, who bent down and gave her a big hug.
"Come on, we're nearly done!" He encouraged her, and they began to follow after Jay, who was leading them up a grassy hill.

Their legs were already aching from the long period of walking they'd already done today, so Ace and Evelyn were soon out of breath as the tall green trees and the luciousd grass began to change, slowly turning into thick, hard rocks and dirt and dust. Starlight was moving overhead, though was too far ahead for Ace to have a telepathic conversation with her. But Evelyn was looking pretty tired, and Ace knew that they should come to a stop. They suddenly appeared in a clearing, with the sky clearly visible overhead and leaving the trees behind.
"Can we pause?" Ace moaned, and collapsed onto the ground.
"Flare!" Evelyn sighed, adn the two friends looked down at the ground. There was a strange pattern carved intot he dusty, dirty surface, resembling some star like patterns Ace had once seen in a book. Suddenly, without warning, a Cleffa appeared.

"It's so cute!" Ace squealed, ignoring his pain, and whiped his camera out. He began taking picturwes, the Cleffa seeming to enjoy being in the spotlight. "It may be cute, but I don't think I'll catch this girl. I'm looking for some ghost, dark or psychic types."

He took a few pictures of the little pink puffball before stowing his camera. I started to suspect he was a photographer. Cleffa jumped atzace, grabbing onto his leg. "Cle cle fa!" she wailed as she started to cry. Tiny little tears splashed to the ground.

"I think she wants the camera," I mused, "and it looks like she won't go without a fight... literally," I laughed at my own pathetic joke.

Ace just sighed as the Cleffa began clawing up his legs, trying to get towards the camera thaty was safely in his bag.
"One thing you should now about me Jay," Ace said irritably. "I hate all children that are shorter than my knees, and all Pokemon that make my Evelyn look like the size of a Lugia!"
"Flareon Reon Flare!" Evelyn hissed at the Cleffa, who was still wailing and trying to get up his leg.
"That's it Cleffa, bog off!" Ace shouted, and he shook his leg violently. Cleffa was sent flying into the sky, and Ace crossed his fingers, hoping it would go away.

Ace shook his leg quite harsh and the poor Cleffa was sent spiralling upwards. I extended and arm and caught the little puffball before placing her on the dusty ground. She glared at Ace before running away. She wasn't going very fast thanks to her stumpy legs and I tried my best not to laugh. When the Cleffa had gone we decided to continue walking along the mountanous area.

"So, have you come here for any Pokemon in particular?" I asked Ace.

We continued walking for a bit until we heard a low sounding bell chime nearby. "What was that?" I wondered but my answer came to me as a Chimecho came out from behind a rock. It looked quite sad and barely seemed to notice us.

Ace smiled warmly as the Cleffa ran away, having been succesfully kicked away, even if Jay had intervened for a more delicate fleeing.
"Good riddance!" Ace laughed, and smiled with joy as the Cleffa disappeared from sight. And with that, Ace, Evelyn and Jay began moving through the rocky section.
"Any particular Pokemon?" Ace repeated Jay's question. "To be frank, Im mainly just looking for rare ghost, psychic and dark basics to add to my collection." Ace explained.

But as he finished his sentence, there was a chiming sound. Ace and Evelyn looked around, concerned, and were surprised to see a Chimecho emerge from behind a rock, floating through the sky.
"It looks depressed." Ace whispered. "Maybe we should leave it alone, you know how depressed Pokemon can sometimes act out."
