Christmas RP Event: Keion

Using Dig, Suicune came underwater, ramming towards the unexpecting Lanturn. Lanturn went outside the water, banged itself on cold ice as it fell at the cold waters of the lake once more.

Suddenly, Suicune went all offensive, well kinda. From the ground underneath the lake, the Aurora Pokemon sprang from its dig attack and bashed Lanturn. It was so strong that Lanturn flew ten feet high, or less, and back to the surface of the water. Having experienced that kind of thing in a swimming pool, her trainer knew how painful it was for his Pokemon. Even then, having her Discharge out of control must've took a lot of energy from the Lanturn.

"This battle seems too biased!" Cenon complained, as if somebody else outside his world was controlling the whole battle. "Suicune is just too strong!" As he ranted, something fell out of his bag. The Santa's Beard that he had bought some time lay in the ice cold snow on the ground. As he grabbed it to put it back to his bag, something told him that it would be an important thing in this battle. He noticed Suicune react to the strange item, so his hunch was right.

Wearing the beard and a Santa's Hat, he decided to lighten up his mood. "Look, I'm Santa!" he told his Pokemon. Upon noticing Lanturn would need an order instead, he tried to make himself serious again. "Use Take Down, Lanturn!"

The Light Pokemon jumped from the water, trying as much as she could to endure the pain she just experienced, and positioned herself above Suicune. Just before she would go plummeting towards the legendary Suicune, a familiar voice began ringing in her ears and gave a quick follow-up command to the blue dolphin-like Pokemon.

"Try to use Thunder, now!"

Confused by the sudden addition of the move, Lanturn still tried to do as she was told. Summoning a large thunder from the sky would take a lot of energy from her, but if it would mean to defeat Suicune, she would gladly do it. Letting out a high-pitched shrill, a large bolt of electricity dropped from the sky and into Suicune. With Lanturn about to hit the Aurora Pokemon, the Thunder attack also pierced through her and into their target. If she was lucky, the Thunder could paralyze Suicune before she tackled it with her Take Down.

Suicune ran away after being hit by Lanturn for the last time. What the Light Pokemon did was really going to be dangerous for a Pokemon to do against a more powerful one, just like Suicune. Luckily, the Legendary Pokemon just fled from the scene as it was hit rather than retaliating once again, just like any wild Pokemon. Perhaps, Suicune was more of the peaceful type of Pokemon one can encounter in the Park.

Just as the Aurora Pokemon fled, a box fell from the purple fur on its back. The parcel fell into the depths of the lake. This was probably one of the Christmas items that wild Pokemon from the park drop. Voluntarily, Lanturn swam through the deep cold water and, in a matter of minutes, swam back to the surface and gave the box to her trainer.

"Thanks," Cenon said, happy for his Pokemon's effort. "You're getting a long rest after this," he assured his Lanturn, taking her battles against many powerful wild Pokemon in account. Grabbing Lanturn's Pokeball from his pocket, he shot the red laser towards her and returned her to her Pokeball. Meanwhile, he got the package, unwrapped it and found two red Santa's Suits in it. How lucky he was, as he remembered these items were worth more points.

He tried to wear one of the suits, and to his surprise, it was a fit! Now with a complete Santa Costume, complete with a beard, a hat and the present bag, he ventured towards the Meteor Valley, where his next stop is. Since the area he would be going to is more dangerous, he needed to get more prepared in the Valley. Since none of his Pokemon can dominate over type-advantages in the said are, the road would be rougher for him.

A Cresselia quickly appeared in front of us, as if she just teleported to her location, and blocked the way of the trainer Cenon. Though it was a different location now, something tells the trainer that a long battle was soon to happen again. Cresselia, like Suicune, is a Legendary Pokemon known to withstand attacks with their respectable Special Defenses. Since most of the moves known by the Pokemon he brought, Cenon would definitely take a hard time chasing it away.

Cenon placed his hand on his pocket and shuffled the Pokeballs in it. Without any clue of whom he'd picked with this kind of style of choosing a Pokemon, he grabbed one of the balls and threw it in midair. "Go... someone!"

Out from the ball came a blue-colored canine with parts of yellow in its fur. An innocent puppy face faced Cenon as he hasn't realized the situation. It took the Manectric some moments before it recognized the Legendary Pokemon Cresselia. As soon as it saw the wild Pokemon, it changed its stance and faced the Psychic-type with an aggressive look. Sparks came out of its fur while growls can be heard between his breaths.

"Right, Manectric," Cenon murmured as he tried to remember one of the Electric-type's moves. "Start with a Thunder Wave followed by Charge. We want things to go smooth."

Thunder Wave is known to be one of the weakest Electric-type moves. Though weak, it can still be one of the most strategic moves one can harness. With the move only taking a few charges of electricity to perform, Thunder Wave was launched without even a matter of minutes. The small thread of electricity coming from the canine's mane flowed all the way to the Legendary Pokemon Cresselia.

Soon after he launched the attack, sparks gathered around the Manectric's mane. Since their species was known for generating electricity through running, the canine exhibited its Charge by speeding around the battlefield. Luckily, it could also confuse Cresselia. Thunderclouds soon formed above the battlefield, one of the amazing facts about Manectric. Though the accumulation of thunderclouds was slow because of the large area the Manectric was running around, at least it has a steady development.

The Thunder Wave Manectric had shot towards Cresselia scattered into nothing as it was blocked by the Legendary Pokemon. Cleverly using its abilities as a Psychic-type, it made a protective shield around herself, which soaked up most of the Thunder Wave before it hit her. To counter Manectric, she focused on the said canine and lifted him up quickly. Without any delay, Cresselia flung Manectric towards a nearby tree.

Manectric staggered from the Confusion attack of Cresselia before he was able to fully stand on all four legs again. He shook his head, clearing away any debris that fell on his face, and stared back to the Legendary Pokemon. By any chances, a raindrop fell to the Manectric's nose. The canine looked up and saw the thunderclouds he had been trying to form started to accumulate at last. This only meant one thing for his trainer.

"Good job there, Manectric," Cenon cheered on. "Continue that rain with Rain Dance, and finish it with Thunder!"

Manectric howled, and suddenly, the rain was pouring down from the thunderclouds. Cenon quickly ran towards one of the trees on the side of the narrow valley. As the rain began pouring louder, Manectric summed up the Charge he used earlier and shot it up in the sky, where his thunderclouds are. Crackles of electricity was soon heard, and a large bolt struck Cresselia from the sky and to the Legendary Pokemon. Surely, it had more power than Thunder Wave to break through the Safeguard.

The large bolt of electricity had hit the Cresselia accurately. Charged with Manectric's move of the same term, Charge, that attack would definitely deal so much pain to the Legendary Pokemon. As Cresselia took the move, she did something else to increase her performance at the battle. As she endured the attack, she closed her eyes and showed signs of calming her mind. As she opened her eyes, a white glow flashed, though nothing happened. Ignoring this, Cenon still continued battling.

The rain that Manectric had made with Rain Dance changed in such a quick time. Icy cold snowflakes began to fall from the sky, replacing the water droplets that fell earlier. Perhaps, the cold temperature quickly froze the rainclouds above their head. Stepping out from the tree he had been taking cover from, Cenon took out his hand and caught a snowflake. As the snowflake melted in his hand, an idea popped in his mind.

"Manectric!" Cenon shouted to get the attention of his Pokemon, "Use Flamethrower straight to Cresselia!"

Flames charged at the yellow-furred canine's mouth as he prepared for the Flamethrower. Without wasting any more moments for Cresselia to attack, Manectric blew a stream of fire to his enemy. Snow around them melted at the moment Flamethrower had touched them. The snow around Cresselia also turned into water, soaking the pink Psychic-type.

"You're doing good, Manectric. Now, Discharge!"

Blue electricity charged from the Manectric's mane. The electricity traveled from Manectric from his body and into the, now melted, snow. Since water conducts electricity, the Discharge traveled from the water all the way to the soaked Cresselia. Manectric pumped the power of his Discharge even more, hoping it would hurt the Legendary Pokemon more.

A barrage of Psychic attacks had just hit Manectric right after Cresselia tried to resist against his attack. With the use of a wall, her Light Screen filtered some damage from the canine's combo, though it still injured Manectric. Anyways, Cresselia's eyes glowed as she lifted Manectric with the use of her telekinesis. Just then, a large blast of psychic energy appeared from nowhere and exploded on impact with Manectric.

With the sudden succession of attacks, there was no doubt that it made a huge damage on the poor Manectric. Even so, at least it stood its ground against something as powerful as Cresselia. The canine panted as he stared at the floating Lunar Pokemon. Surely, it did a lot of damage to him, but in exchange, he made Cresselia as tired as him. One more move could finally drive off this Pokemon so that they could move on to the next post.

"Let's finish this," Cenon told his Manectric. "Rush through that Light Screen with Quick Attack and Bite!"

Manectric bunched his hind legs before he sprinted towards the Lunar Pokemon. With the speed faster than his natural running speed, Manectric bolted like a flash until he had hit the Light Screen, thus breaking it. As shards of the broken Light Screen gave cover to him, Manectric proceeded on making a quick swift Bite to Cresselia to the nearest possible place.

"Go Manectric!"

As Manectric dived straight through Cresselia's Light Screen, he wasted no time to chomp down on one of her ring-like wings. As his teeth tried to tore through Cresselia's appandages, the Lunar Pokemon emitted a blinding light, causing all of them creatures around her, including Manectric and his trainer, to be stunned. As their sight returned to normal, nothing but a package was left in the scene.

Cenon walked up to it and inspected the package. It appears as it was the same item as Suicune had dropped. As he picked it up, he noticed another package on a nearby bush. With the two packages of Santa's Suit, he placed it inside his Present Bag and continued to walk towards the end of the valley. He looked around him, careful not to meet powerful Pokemon, and went on his way.

"Come on, Manectric," he encouraged. "Let's try to reach the lake here in Meteor Valley. A little side trip won't hurt."

As Cenon walked about the Meteor Valley holding his map, a rustle on the nearby bush made him stop. Even Manectric took the sound as a danger and quickly made a low growl. Soon, sounds of a small bell filled their ears before the wild Pokemon showed itself. A Chingling jumped out of the bushes and gave Manectric an aggressive look, as if it wanted to battle.

"This doesn't seem much of a threat than our last encounters," Cenon observed. "Okay, Manectric, try to Bite it!"

Manectric bunched his legs before he pounced over the small Psychic Pokemon. As he jumped, he showed his sharp teeth to Chingling, giving the Bell Pokemon something more to fear. Also, his larger size gave the Chingling a small chance to escape him. As he landed over the Bell Pokemon, he sunk his teeth body, delivering pain to the mentioned Pokemon.

"You're doing good, Manectric. Follow that with Ice Fang."

Manectric nodded upon hearing the order. With his fangs still in Chingling's body, he generated cold in his teeth. This would soon give damage to Chingling from the inside.

While Manectric was busy biting on Chingling, the Bell Pokemon did some trick of its own. With Manectric near on its mouth, the Psychic-type made some teasing noise, as if it was taunting the canine. As Taunt finished, it quickly lifted Manectric with the use of Confusion and threw him away from itself, with the reason of keeping her health in tact.

Manectric was pushed by Chingling's Confusion away from it and sent it crashing into a bush, which cushioned his fall. If they would cross the whole Meteor Valley, Manectric would've need to endure a few more Psychic attacks. Manectric jumped back to the ground from the bush and shook his fur. Although he wanted to charge straight back to the Bell Pokemon because of its Taunt, he restrained himself and waited for his trainer's orders instead.

"Fire a Signal Beam," Cenon ordered immediately. "Make sure it hits heavily on that Chingling. Go!"

Manectric opened his mouth and a small rainbow-colored orb appeared in the middle of his jaws. Soon, the rainbow beam was launched to the Bell Pokemon, which would hit it heavily as his trainer said. The Signal Beam then grew stronger, giving more damage to the little and delicate Psychic-typed Pokemon, Chingling.

As Manectric continued to pound Chingling with Signal Beam, the Bell Pokemon slowly approached the Discharge Pokemon, enduring the pain, and quickly wrapped its ribbon-like appendages around the canine. This had hurt Manectric through quickly snapping its mouth shut with its tiny ribbon thingies. Since most of Manectric's attacks are used with its mouth, the Chingling had just shut down most of his moves.

"Manectric, use Discharge!" its trainer yelled.

Manectric, who had a Chingling tied up to its mouth like a dog's muzzle, knew that Discharge would still hit Chingling without using his mouth. Charging the electricity from whatever it came from, Manectric stored a vast amount of it before the Discharge Pokemon discharged the electricity with the use of the move Discharge and concentrated it to be able to only hit the Psychic-typed Pokemon, in which weakened it for a bit.

"Don't let it get away, Manectric," the electric dog's trainer had told it. "Use Spark!"

Before the Chingling did ever lost its grip, Manectric gave off sparks around the body, in which anyone touching it would get electrocuted. Since Chingling was already in contact with Manectric, it took no more than a second for it to get hurt. Not stopping from there, the Discharge Pokemon shook the smaller Pokemon, with it loosening its grip because of Manectric weakening it, and threw it above him. As the Chingling came closer to ground, Manectric came running for it and headbutted it to oblivion.
