    The main runs could use some more activity imo. I kinda like this idea being able to take 4 mons out. Just make sure those that prefer individual runs aren't penalized in any way. No, I'm not saying that there shouldn't be any benefits for main runs. I'm saying that individual runs should be kept the same. Not a bad idea

    My only concern would be the imminent cluttering of the Main Runs. I'm all for paying a bit extra, but if a many people sign up for a Main Park, how will we be able to keep track of all the posts going in there? Do we color code them? Make individual threads like how they are in the Individual Threads? Let only a few in at a time? This idea is awesome but how will we manage the influx of people ready to go in. This gets my vote.

    Ctrl+F would probably help here, just type in the username of the person you are leading through and you're set.

    This sounds like a good idea, but maybe another addition could be added since it would allow four 'mons to be taken out instead of three. Limit the amount of times a healing item could be used, for instance. All in all, make it live up to the name of "Endurance".

    Mav, good point, but it won't be a huge issue because of the Mention system BMG has now - you don't even need to keep an eye on the Main section, just wait for your Trainer to Mention you. There's also the CTRL+F thing that Akinai mentioned.

    I don't mind that idea, Akinai. Limit healing items or maybe limit PokeDolls or something.

    The idea sounds good in itself -- taking out four 'mons? Hell yes.

    As for limiting healing items, though, people often bring Pokémon into the Park that can heal themselves and others (me, for instance; Chimecho <3). Would some sort of limit have to be exercised over that, too? I don't mind limiting PokéDolls, though. Escape rolls are free. ;}

    Yeah, they're free, but they hardly work for me /;. A limit I suppose could work.

    I don't think dolls should be limited because the Trainer pays for them. It's their choice to spend the money or try and battle a wild mon off.

    And healing with mons is already supposed to be non-spammable in theory. Rangers should be not granting their Trainers free healing with their mons after every battle, even if their quality is super great, and especially not if their quality is poor. They should work for it a little bit, just like befriendings and such.

    One of my trainers at one point used Yawn + Rest + Switch + Heal Bell. This is a good combo that I allowed once but aren't trainers supposed to be penalized anyway for repeated combos? They should have to think of something different (and by different, I mean substantially different). Also, I'm not in favor of limiting healing items or dolls because both of them require money and it is their money after all.

    Feels weird to be asking questions here. I mean, I started out here when the URPG made its move here, so you'd think I'd know the answer to all these questions. But anyway... xD

    So, when I was here a year and a half ago, the item stock was quite different than it is now. Just so that I'm sure, the Energy Powder/Root/other healing items DON'T have the normal bitter taste effect that they have in the game, do they? I'm inclined to believe that's true, since there's no longer any Super Potions or anything...

    Sowwy fer da n0blet question. ^^;

    Though the change was made during my hiatus, pretty certain that the change of Potions to the herbal medicines was to make sure Trainers didn't just discard the used Potions on the ground. Plus, since happiness isn't really a trait in battling in the URPG, bitterness should not be taken into effect.

    I'd like to announce the official introduction of Endurance Runs to the Main RPs. When starting a Main RP, mention in the form that you would like your Expedition to be an Endurance Run, and the following changes will be made:

    Your Expedition will last for twenty Encounters, instead of the usual fifteen.
    You may bring out four Pokemon from the Expedition, instead of the usual three.
    You may bring no more than five healing items on the run.
    You may not use Voice Disks or Repellants on the run.
    The Endurance Run costs $3500 instead of the usual $2500.

    It's our hope that these may increase the activity the Main RPs. The information has been edited into the relevant areas and you may begin embarking on Endurance Runs as soon as this post is up. Oh wait, that's right now!

    When I make 2,500, I'll enter the Park again. I still have my exclusive Rotom disk and what not ;-)

    Derp, forgot he still had that. Ah well, I'll just go where the wind takes me unless I find a new type that I want.

    Re: National Park General Discussion

    Today is the third of May. You know what that day is? It's Buoysel's first RANNIVERSARY (Ranger anniversary -- I just made the word up on the spot, okay?). I've been a Ranger for a year today, and I'd like to thank all of you for making my first year a fantastic year! You're all great people. Yes, even you, Ebail. I love you all. INTENSELY.

    Now make me a cake each and I expect a donation of 5k in Pokédollars from all of you as an anniversary gift. 10k FROM BUMBLEBEE because he's my love. <3

    Re: National Park General Discussion

    I have a question.
    In the National Park, if we can spot a wild Pokemon, how do we know which ones we can and
    cannot spot?(After all, we aren't shown the rolls the Ranger makes.)

    Trainers can spot Wild Pokemon in passing, but not to attempt catching it. Only Rangers can control when a catch-able Pokemon appears.

    Re: National Park General Discussion

    What DoH said.

    For example, as a Trainer you can choose to say that you saw an Eevee running across a forest clearing, but since the Ranger didn't introduce it you cannot attempt to catch it. One when a Ranger asks you if you'd like to battle a Pokemon can you actually do so. So what's the point of being able to spot Wild Pokemon as a Trainer? Nothing really, aside from flavour and perhaps a way to reach a required character count ;)
