While you're at it, you should update the calc too, with that special modifier =P

Along that note, another small update is the cost of rewriting special event voice disks. Instead of them breaking, they cost an extra 1k to rewrite. This has been updated on BMG, but until PWN and AT&T work themselves out, it's not updated over there unless Bee, Jess, or Chainy do it. You can read more about event disks and other items here.

Sorry to bother you with more questions, but is it all right to keep all of your Park stats in your normal stats rather than updating your Park sign-ups every time?

Sure! :) What's important is that you're keeping track of things SOMEWHERE, doesn't matter if it's in your URPG stats or Park sign-up or both xD

If possible, I would still like you to keep Pokemon caught in the Park itself and their natures in a list on here so it's easier to determine, as well as your character's description and personality, just because that makes it easiest to look up, such as a Ranger needing to know what your person looks like. Items and things are no big deal.

Kind of makes these items a little unfair if they go from one time to permanent imo.

-Hi Definition Voice Disk - like a regular Voice Disk, only 20% chance
-Extended Edition Voice Disk: 8 rolls to encounter mon instead of 5. Intermediate Rank mon or lower.

We decided that they're not because the normal disk rate is 15%, so an extra 5% is nbd. Same thing with an extra 3 encounters - if someone really wants to they can bring 3 disks in, and 3 disks at 5 chances per disk already means the entire run is affected, so what's the issue with having a certain disk last a little longer? Any slight advantage they have is covered quite satisfactorily by the extra rewrite cost.

Okay, I've just went though and updated the Sign-Up Archive on both BMG and PWN, the latter of which had never been added to the Archive since it was put up. Everything should be up-to-date. If I missed someone, please let me know.

That being said, this next thing goes for everyone, especially Rangers: If you're adding on a future character to your sheet, please <edit> it into your other post so they're all on the same one. Otherwise they can be missed. This makes editing easier for all of us. Also, if your sign-up is already on either BMG or PWN, it does not need to be put on the other. You only need to sign up once.

    Re: National Park General Discussion

Hey, a suggestion for a Park item: Heal Balls. Prohibitively expensive(i.e. Hyper Ball+additional Pokemon coupon), have a lower catch rate than Park Balls(but still can be used on any 'mon), and usable only at the Ranger's discretion. The upside: If, after all that, you catch a wild mon in one, you can use it in the park as if you just brought it in. The Ranger adds a roll for every attack to see if the mon disobeys, and it probably won't obey the trainer well in any case unless the Trainer does something similar to the befriending requirements. Maybe. If the nature is benevolent and the MCR is good.

Just under three weeks actually, and it wouldn't hurt to mention it to me. But yeah, if anyone wants to take over that'd be cool.

Update: The Trainer Sign-up archive is up-to-date through Speed-X on BMG and Felly on PWN.

Trainers from PE2k can repost their old sign-ups on one of our current forums if they want, but it's not required since the information is still viewable (though needing ages to load). If you repost, we can just link the new one into the guide.

    Re: National Park General Discussion

As a reminder for returning people, along with a note for our newer Park-goers:

It's highly recommended to enter the Park with at least two Pokemon, along with a healing item or two for safety. We've had a few people sign up in the past few months with only their starter and some with only Park/Super/Ultra Balls in their inventory. While we always love to see Trainers wanting to jump into the Park right away, it also means it will be a rough road ahead. Just like in the games, if you go off with only one Pokemon it's going to get battered down eventually.

Overall, play it safe- don't try to enter with one Pokemon.

    Re: National Park General Discussion

Hello, everyone. Now that Generation VI has been released, the Park's updates are underway. Everything should be in place soon. As of now, I've updated the Pokemon Location List and posted the Release Event on BMG. I'm leaving the Parkpedia updates and PWN in it's entirety to my lovely co-head @WinterVines; because, well quite frankly, I can. Also she'll probably make less mistakes than me, I'm kinda running entirely on energy drinks atm.

So welcome into the Park, enjoy catching the new Pokemon!

    Re: National Park General Discussion

Gen 6 should now be implemented. New Abilities and Moves are posted, as well as the new location list. Note that Abilities that act just like in-game are no longer in the list--only anime-styled ones have different or extra effects. Check them out.

Also, two new areas have been added to the Park: Sandy Beach and Ruined Manor. The Lakes and Meteor Valley have been split. Some Pokemon have also be moved around.

None of these implements will affect current runs. They will use old locations and ranks if they've already started, and no Gen 6 Pokemon will appear on old lists.

    Re: National Park General Discussion

Another heads up to all Rangers: since this Event is technically just a special kind of normal Expedition, they are not to be given priority. All expedition applications that were posted beforehand need to be taken first. @Synthesis; I nuked your acceptance post, sorry man.

    Re: National Park General Discussion

As a note for all active Rangers: since Event Runs are not given priority, make sure to check the Main and Individual RP Gates before you snag a Run as well as what time/day it was posted on. We have a one person each waiting in Main and Individual RP, along with an abandoned Run as well.
