Since it'll probably be demanding story rank, Special fits it just fine.

 

It is a demanding Pokemon, but that doesn't mean it's special rank, look at Porygon.

 

Or Rotom, Feebas, Larvesta, Munchlax, and a lot of evos.

 

Porygon is Intermediate because P2 is Rare and PZ is Special. Same as the ones Syn pointed out, their next Evos are higher up on the ladder.

 

Based on the other placements of Pokemon that don't evolve are in the Rare or lower category. I think Phione fits there in Rare.

 

I'm kinda with Bee, I think it should go in Rare because Phione doesn't have a special evolution method or whatever.

 

I thought Special was for Pokémon that would be difficult to find in the wild because of special methods required to get them normally. Phione requires breeding from another Phione or a Manaphy, so I could see it fitting there from that. Not sure if its usefulness or whatever supports the Special ranking, but I'm just posting immediate thoughts so yeah.

 

Fun fact: Manaphy is the only Pokemon to hatch from an egg as an evolved Pokemon.

Though not really since no Phione ever evolves into Manaphy >>...

ANYWAYS, because of the fact that Phione never evolves, I don't know if it warrants a spot in Special. Granted you need to breed Manaphy with a Ditto to get a Phione egg (and Phinoe themselves need to be bred w/ a Ditto iirc), but the Special rank is reserved for Mon that need (mostly; said because of Hydreigon lol) certain requirements to evolve, not be bred.

That being said, I think Rare would be fine for Phione.

 

Also its stats are the exact same as Glalie's.

 

I'm not 100% sure this is where this goes, but Alaska and I would like to request a new ranger, sadly. The last post in our run (made by Alaska) was on Aug. 9th, and I don't really think our ranger is coming back anytime soon. It's in the Main RP at Deckbi, ranger is Gliscorman, and it's a team RP.

Hey guys, you probably don't remember me, the last time I posted on the forums was oh... 10 months ago? (Holy crap, it's been that long?) I've recently gotten back into Pokemon again, and I might as well try to revive my post here.

So, since I've been gone for so long, do I still have my Ranger spot, or do I have to re-apply?

So it was brought up a while ago, and dismissed (I think), but I think one of the only problems with the Park is when a Ranger just won't post more than once every few days, or even every day. I'm definitely not the person to be complaining, because I am not by the way. I know personally there's been a few times when I wish that a run would go faster because it's actually being quite enjoyable. I also know how hard it can be to post a lot in a short period of time, due to lack of motivation or just generally being busy. Wages were fixed which really did help a lot but I'd really love if there was some way in which a Ranger could take another Ranger through the Park and they Ranger each other.

I'll use Buoy as an example. Say we both went to the Botanic Gardens together, well we could each roll each other's encounters (hidden of course), and we could both be quite forward with the run and say work together as a pair to take down some rather difficult Pokemon. I don't even see how there could be bias or anything when it's just like two regular runs combined except both people would be motivated to post and it'd be really fun. Also it would involve a lot of preparation and working together to do several things, rather than just filling up the CC with complete crap.

Both Rangers could have the other's stats at the end of their posts - or they could have their own stats, even. I really hope something happens with this. And I'd love input from people who don't usually post in this part of the URPG who might be interested.

As long as you're not talking about sharing a thread, this is already happening. Winter and I have been rangering each other over on PE2K for a little while now, and in our first run we decided to share a storyline (like both runs were happening at the same time in the same place) even though both runs were completely self-contained. It was heaps of fun and much easier to reach the MCR.

This has already been discussed iirc, and two Rangers rangering each other is perfectly fine as long as all the other rules are being followed as well (i.e. no waiting Trainers have been queue-skipped). I'm assuming this is what you're asking, Syn. It's been agreed by most people that two Rangers sharing a thread would get unnecessarily complicated.
