Dark Dragonic Knight hasn't even been posting and yet he (or she) was targeted and it just so happens he's a bodyguard? Wth? Combined with the other deaths...I smell a rat.

    Hang on a second.....

You and your lover, Gallade, are aligned with the village.

Plusle and Minun were aligned with village: Plulse died, Minun went wacky

Could Gallade now change to mafia or neutral?

Hi there. I extracted this PM with Pidge a while ago. I don't want to take the risk of Gallade and Mafia killing everyone so I'll just post it.

At this point, would it be terrible to have a role who could actually kill others? We have nothing to go on and the mafia will have to deal with it eventually. I know we all want to live, but these night attacks are too perfectly placed. Someone knows our roles and has basically removed any sort of fun from this game. I say we see how this Gallade transforms and hope it knows what to do. It has to kill Mafia anyways. Ketamine seems too eager to lynch them, in my opinion.

Neon, the point is that the Gallade/KOS may most likely be changing to JOIN the Mafia, like Minun/Buzzer did in the last game. He would be an outcasted Mafia, but it is still one Mafia too many.

I am going to have to save Lynch Knight of Shadows, as we don't need more mafia fucking things up.

(This is assuming what Keta posted is true)

How do we know that Knight of Shadows has to kill Mafia? How do we know that he even knows who the Mafia are? He could kill one of us at night instead of Mafia.

How do we know what his role is? How do we know that his role DOES involve killing? He could most likely end up becoming neutral, and neutral people end up winning by themselves if certain criteria is fufilled.

Re: URPG PokéMafia II [DAY 5]

He wouldn't be mafia. He would be independent. And at this point, he would just try and kill people who he suspected of being mafia earlier, to find out if he was right in his beliefs. Now that mafia knows who he is, they will most likely have to eliminate him as a threat. That would buy us another day. Just because there is a neutral out there doesn't mean he is going to crack down on the village. He wants to survive as much as we do. And the mafia is as big a threat to him as it is to us. If we get rid of him, we will be down another useful villager tonight. Let's actually think this through and get a real lynch instead of just a paranoid frenzy.

On a side note, not only did the mafia pick this victim because they were bodyguard. They picked them because they knew about the Gallade role and that they could manipulate the fear of how it could turn out. It seems to me Ketamine was well aware of this role and was ready to waste another turn by making us lynch someone who could actually do something.

Sorry I'm trying to save us before we don't have anytime left.

LMAO, Neon you just scum slipped so bad.

INDEPENDENTS WIN WHEN ALL OTHERS ARE ELIMINATED, WHY WOULD THEY CARE WHO IS MAFIA AND WHO IS VILLAGE WHEN WIN BY THEMSELVES.

All of you are missing the point that with the Independent, he/she will most likely target at random, they shouldn't know who Maf are (unless Feng has made an unbalanced game). Even if they decide to kill all Mafia first, the villagers are next. Ty for voting me Neon you are sure to be lynched next day.

No we will be down 2 if we don't lynch this Independent we will lose atleast 1 villager next night (Assuming theres more than 1 mafia member) even if Indie kills 1 Mafia we are down a villager.

You have also missed the point that we already have a Vigilante on our side. Trying to get an Independent to work with villagers is like baiting a werewolf with a fresh victim, at first he might seem likely to work with you (even though he doesn't know who mafia is) the villagers will end up getting analed by it.

[This post is all based on the assumption that the Independent has a killing role, but nevertheless the Independent is a liability to our village.]

    EDIT:
Not to mention Neon is willing to lynch a Villager over a PROVED independent.

Yes, but now that the mafia knows who the independent is, he has to get rid of some of them or there is no chance he can win. He is just as frightening to the mafia as he is to us. They have to get rid of him or risk someone randomly getting killed. Now, at this point we have nothing to go on and luck is the only way we have to turn this around.

The section you quoted is basically me telling everyone that if we get rid of independent, mafia gets to focus on their next leaked power role to kill. If we leave independent they at least have to worry about him and perhaps save us a turn so they can take care of him. You have to think these things through.

I'd also like to point out exactly how well things turned out the last time we let Ketamine push us into lynching somebody. Weird he just surfaces roles when they seem to fit his agenda.

I also like how me accusing you is a scum tell. Sorry I am actually using reason and have been trying to turn this game around since day 1.

Have fun costing the village the (already damaged) win.

And I don't know any mafia player who will not rid an Independent once seen one unless they knew the independent has turned Maf sided with them.

SO what if we leave the independent for today.

Tomorrow night. Maf kills Indie and Indie kills a Maf.

    What next? Answer me that.

Hi I'm Inspector voice. I know many roles due to Inspector (when alive) and Pidge, If you want I can surface all the roles of every player in the game if you want (Yes thats right I have every players role, well, from what they have sent me anyway). I'm sure you as Maf will love that.

Re: URPG PokéMafia II [DAY 5]

The thing is, Independents don't join Mafia. They have to compete with them for the win. We don't even know if why he changes into is independent. He could still remain village and we would just be killing off another villager.

My point is that our vigilante has done nothing. Our power roles have done nothing. Any time I have tried to get something done, people shoot it down. We have so many inactives, and any one of them would be considered mafia for lurking hard in another scenario. The only things we can let happen is hope that we can get a villager to live another turn and let the independent and mafia handle each other. You see, now that I've had to explain this it won't happen. If you could just think of the fact that independents effect both mafia and village, we wouldn't be in this scenario. Instead, you are pushing a lynch that can only help the mafia and seal our fate.

Best case scenario: Mafia kills independent and independent kills mafia. After that we have another turn with a villager saved and we are down one mafia that we didn't have down before. Doesn't that accomplish what you want and more?

Honestly, you know my role only effects mafia so I could have been investigated or watched any night of you thought I was suspiscious. Weird you start accusing me after I accuse you.

You gave me a scenario where a mafia and the independent die. That is infinitely times better than the original scenario of just lynching the independent and giving the mafia another free night to kill another role that they know all too well.

Also, I'm glad you pointed out your knowledge of all the roles. The mafia seems to know them too. Coincidence?

Re: URPG PokéMafia II [DAY 5]

Perhaps I'm really misunderstanding all this discussion, but isn't this whole shabang covered in the rules?

Now, since Knight's role was villager and it says he'll undergo a transformation, it seems possible that he will either turn into a serial killer-rogue-type person or maybe a vigilante for the village.

But, given what I've observed in Mafia games, it seems more likely he'll turn into a serial killer. Which (correct me if I'm wrong, please) would make him a rogue. I could be wrong, I'm not an expert on Mafia by a long shot, but if he falls into the rogue category, than that means he wins if the village is eliminated.

Re: URPG PokéMafia II [DAY 5]

Ask Knight of Shadows then, ask him what Feng sent him after Gardevoir died.

How do you know Mafia knows all the roles, do you have inside knowledge of who your teammates are?

Except that I don't choose on who to inspect do I?

And end up with no leads the next day? Yep that's really good.

Still to the point, you are willing to sacrifice a villager during the DAY just so the Indepedent will HOPEFULLY (4-8/19 chance of killing Mafia while 12/19 of killing a Villager) kill mafia even though they don't know who the hell they are and are most likely to hit a villager. Even through all this risk you are willingly wanting to lynch me.

Maf now knowing that I carry all roles I will be sending them to another trusted villager before Nights end so my death would mean nothing at night.

One more thing just incase this didn't sink into your head:
TRYING TO GET THE INDEPEDENT TO WORK WITH US IS A DEATH TRAP

    Also:
Why would the mafia be afraid of the Indepndent? It seems like your trying really hard to keep this Independent alive ;\.

Re: URPG PokéMafia II [DAY 5]

I'm tending to agree with Ketamine here, but for slightly different reasons. Sure, the Independant might be going after Mafia as opposed to village at first, but he doesn't have any idea / evidence of who is Mafia or not. If he did he would have shared it with us so that we can lynch them. Leaving this Independant alive would be like having two lynches a day, but one of the lynches would be determined purely by one person.

What happens if we leave him alive tonight, and he kills off a Villager, thinking they are mafia? We've basically saved the Mafia a night of work, and the Independant might decide to go off after a villager anyway. What's to stop the Independant from forming a temporary alliance with the Mafia?

What it all comes down to, in my opinion, is that the Independant is just too much of a wild card to be running around now. So far, the village has been hanging on by the tips of our fingers, and having the Indie kill off a power role like Vigilante or something would be the final nail in our coffin.

Yes, all of this is assuming that Ketamine isn't full of shit, but I'm pretty sure he's not. That's why I'm voting to lynch Knight of Shadows.

Also, btw, I now have FOS on Neonsands - it's awfully suspicious that you'd be defending an almost-known Independant, and would prefer a random lynch on a potential villager - alarm bells. Makes me think that you're some kind of role that would gain much from allying with an Independant, and Village roles wouldn't gain much at all.

EDIT: What Dragoness just pointed out convinces me even more. The Indie doesn't need to kill the Mafia to win. The Mafia basically just got reinforcements.

Re: URPG PokéMafia II [DAY 5]

Granted I forgot about joint victories, but in any case my points remain true. Mafia pinpoints useful roles and kills them at night. This isn't just a coincidence. I have never once asked anyone for their role. I'm just going with everything that has been said in here. And a few things that have been said outside if here.

The fact of the matter is that you seemed to be close enough to the inspector that you received word of findings immediately after the night. Yet, you don't have any say in who gets investigated? That sounds like complete bullshit to me. I'm sure you told her to investigate Turtwig too after they got framed.

Also, why would mafia even bother killing you just for knowing all of the roles? You've obviously been able to do nothing with it against the mafia so far, what would change with you getting killed?

My main reasoning was to get the mafia and independent to get rid of each other so we have more breathing room. Apparently no one else wants that, and no one else even wants to think of a clever way to turn this around. Now that I've gone and explained it in detail we light as well just let mafia kill some more villagers. That is the way we are headed now.

And I'm just wondering how the mafia and independent killing each other would be a bad thing? We don't get any leads out of it? What does that even mean? We get two dead opossing threats dead out of that.

Anyways, since joint win ruins any plan I had, I guess I'll vote for knight of shadows.
