Trainers' Estate: Grounds- Lake

"Hehe my pokemon are here. Sakura can handle this one is need be." he said as he bent down and stroke the purring Espeon.

 

"Hi guys!" said Daniel who had just entered the water with Veronica (the mudkip). "How've you all been lately?" At the same time, Daniel had a thought in his head. "Man, before I came here, I would've never been so calm around these people. This place has really changed me for the better."

 

Halas smiled, "I understand," Halas poked Gyarados and told it to move farther away from the shore. Suddenly the boy there pet Amphrite, she smiled, then the Gyarados began moving back. "I've had the same thing happen to me," Halas' face went blank.

Halas looked at the water and saw a Starmie jet by. He stared at the water for awhile, not hearing anything.

 

"You were chased by a Gyrados? Or something else?" She asked as she got ready to jump in the water.

 

"Something else, definatly something else." Halas said spacing off. "It was pretty bad," Halas had a flashback of the thing that had nearly killed him.

Halas then looked up and shook his head, "It's not important." Halas smiled as he dove off of his Gyarados' head.

 

Kiryu sat on his Empoleon and looked out over the lake. We was wondering what he could do. Maybe use Aqua jet and zoom around the lake a bit. “Hey Serenity wanna race. You too Halas."

 

"No, but you boys feel free." She smiled before yelling, "Cannonball!" And she lept into the water. Serenity stayed under for a bit before surfacing. Her hair had come loose and was now all over her face.

 

"Aw what the heck," Halas said shrugging, "I'm in! Hey Burnage and Khonsu stay here, I'm going to have a little fun." Halas hopped onto Amphrite's head. He whispered to the sea creature and it nodded.

Halas nodded at Kiryu, "Ready when you are!" He yelled, "Get ready to go fast Amphrite!" Halas then had Gyarados swim to the middle of the lake. "Come on! Going at that rate will never win!"

Halas was pumped to go fast on Amphrite.

 

Empoleon stood on the back of Empoleon and positioned himself as if he was on a skate board. “Serenity! We need a line and a someone to start us." he said as he looked out in front of him. His eyes began to change, more serious and dangerous.

 

"Sapphire, Ice Beam!" She told her pokemon. Immediatly, she made a massive archway of ice. "how's that?" Serenity asked.

 

He smile and nodded. “Send us off!"

 

"Yup, let's get this race started!" Halas said happily.

 

"Umm okay, Get ready. Get set. GO!" She announced to the boys. Serentity would have liked to participate, but she didn't feel up to doing anything particularly strenuous.

 

On hearing the word 'go', Amphrite dove underwater and left no trace of which direction she was headed. Going almost 100mph underwater was like running into a brick wall to Halas. He held on until he needed a breath. He then tugged on Gyarados' fin and she ripped above the water and dove back down in less than a second.

Halas thought, Ha we are so going to win!

 

"5 laps around the lake okay! Not only will your speed be tested, but your agility!" Serenity shouted before diving underwater to find her lost scrunchie. The lake was big enough that she had a few minutes to do so. She dove down in a single motion, and swam downwards.

 

He smiled and jetted off right next to the trail. He noticed he went under and smiled. “Aqua Jet!!" he yelled as Takeshi and Kiryu was enveloped by water and jetted off. The water pressure was hard on his eyes, the only down fall to his technique. He yelled “ Ice Beam!" and created as a course to race on, complete with a loop and a sliding wall. Takeshi slid on the ice and gained a lot more speed.

 

Halas was a little behind Kiyru when the water began getting cold. He looked up and saw that Kiyru was freezing the water to gain speed. Halas had to do something or risk losing the race. Wasting the little breath he had he spoke to Amphrite. "Take out that ice! We might lose!" Halas had no air left in his lungs. He tugged on his Gyarados' fins and it ripped above the surface but it did something else, it glided awhile while charging a move to take out the ice.

It shot a beam from its mouth that destroyed the ice in front of Kiyru and his Empoleon. Amphrite then dove back underwater gaining a lead from the other duo.

 

Daniel saw that everyone had been busy having a race around the lake. "Aww, it's ok Veronica," he said, "they're just having a good time without us. Let's go back to our room to listen to some music!"

 

She found her scrunchi and put her hair back into a ponytail. Serenity climbed back on shore, as she did not wish to be caught in the crossfire.
"Careful out there! I'd rather not have to do rescue breathing on either of you!" The girl called out. She had taken a class a couple years back.

 

Kiryus eyes got wide as the ice collasped. It caused him and Takeshi to fall into the water. He groaned as him and Takeshi floated up to the water. Hia head was swimming as he was floating in around some ice fragments. Takeshi was hit hard as well.
