Pokemon Ultra RPG coming to Bulbagarden

We're excited to be expanding here and look forward to playing alongside Bulbagarden members.

This should be entertaining. There's already quite a stir of interest URPG's having in making this into a successful endeavor. I'm excited to see how it all pans out, baha.

Interesting. So how is the URPG branch here going to connect with the one at PE2k? Will it be run as one unit?

Zorua isn't available on pURPG and it won't be on bURPG until Gen V is actually released.

We're actually caught up in a bit of debate about that in some cases, but for the most part it's going to be two halves of the same coin.

What are the pros and cons of each way? I've only taken a glancing look at the URPG from posting there way back in the day, so I know little of how it works. If they're going to be treated as two parts of a whole, that means that the gym structure etc. will be the same for both sites?

 

That's one of the things being discussed - do we treat BMG members the same as Pe2k new members and just keep the gyms we have, or do we open up a 'Newbie League', as Pe2k members have an advantage, since every BMG member will be starting new?

That and many other things will all have to be worked out before the expansion can happen.

 

Which is why the final move is in May and not now. We've got all sorts of committees and discussions going on about it. Cuz, y'know. URPG. srs bsns.

 

The idea is that we want to promote a lot integration between the two branches. URPG members should not be restricted from participating in either side because that just ruins the fun. If a strong PE2K member and strong BMG member want to battle each other, they should! Strong rivals are half the fun!

The two branches will have the exact same features and functions. It promotes fairness.

We definitely want to know what BMGers think about it, though. After all, the way things work here is probably a little different than how we're used to.
