Amoonguss took out Flygon with a pair of Hidden Powers of the Ice-Type, then defeated Lanturn with some Giga Drains, and Sceptile with a pair of Sludge Bombs. Overall, Airik was pretty lucky throughout the battle with his Amoonguss only getting fully par'd and only smacking from confusion once each.

Special Rule: All Pokemon are given 2 points. Whenever you deal direct damage to another Pokemon, you steal one of its points. For every 2 points you gain, you can increase one stat by +1. For every 2 points you lose, a random stat is decreased by 1. KO an opponent to get +2 points.

Mistralton Gym battle. Jumpluff began to wall Maxie's team until it was Paralyzed by Espeon's Synchronize. Then Salamence unluckily switched into a Flamethrower and got Burned. Regardless, Mence managed to take out Espeon and Hydreigon before getting KO'd from Burn and Life Orb recoil, then Jumpluff walled Lanturn and regiained most of its HP. Gyarados finished up by OHKOing Archeops with Waterfall; outspeeding thanks to Choice Scarf.
