    The idea of exploration is good, however, I can't really say whether it'd be a good story or not, since you didn't give much detail. A brief synopsis, or perhaps an opening chapter would be good to feedback on.

    Okey so, this takes place in the 1800s, before evolution was discoverd. basically Darwin (if I cant think of another name) takes a trip around the edge of johto (which is COMPLETLY uninhabited as it was just discoverd) Right now in the world, there are only 100 or so pokemon species discoverd. On his trip in johto to colect species for the HMS smeargle. he makes discoveries. However it isnt until the Smeargle reaches the Sevii islands he begins to make real discoveries. For example similarities between squirtle and wartortle, between pidgey and pidgeotto (which have completly different names at that time). He begins to make a theory, that pokemon evolve.

    Thats the jist of it. Him taking specimens home is where the pokemon catching comes in

    I actually rather like the basic idea behind that. You may want to consider, however, that if you want to milk something like that for all it's worth, a structural plot beyond the basic idea of aforementioned scientific discovery could really flesh the idea out. :eek:

    So I have a really dumb question. Do I have to write seperate stories to get pokemon or is it one story that gets longer to include multiple pokemon?

    You can do either. If you wanna go for more than one Poke in one story, then you just add approximate lengths together. For instance, two Easiest rank Pokes would just be 10-20k.

    'n that's not a dumb question. A dumb question would be like, if you have to wear pants while you write your story 'r something.

    The answer, of course, would be that it is illegal to wear pants while writing a URPG story, and will result in your manhood license being revoked.

    Unless you're a girl, in which case... ummm... refrigerator.

    Yes, but please beware that they might not be graded as quickly. Older stories have first dibs and graders are always super busy.

    Hey, Rocky, there are a very few graders and they are very busy + they have to grade other people's stories too so I suggest you wait till they reach your story.

    Hey guys,my story has been up since yesterday, and I would like it to be graded, but is seems the graders are veeeery busy and I'm not sure how long it is polite to wait to ask for a grader...So if anyone grades it,thank you sooo much!
    I also want comments from the common members cus it's my first time writing any Pokemon storeys so I need all the feedback I can get.

    Okey Heres My two cents.

    Jack wasnt properly introduced. You did give hints at his personality throughout the story (a timid rookie trainer with little experiance) but that was all. Chris just seemed kinda...pushed in there. I mean, the story needs him, without it it would just be your typical "boy sees pokemon, boy battles pokemon, boy catches pokemon" story. But the the way Chris was put in there...seems like he was just there for character count filler.

    The battle was great though, not one sided like most. could be better

    Edit: Alright, the way you use detail is good. Except sometimes it was more like a list. Also, when describing something like the clouds, you doubled up on your words. I cant remember exactly how you phrased it but it was in the first paragraph. I liked it though and hope you get your ledyba.
