Name: Luke Fon Fabre

Disregard the sword, for the RP it won't be there.

Standing at 5'7" (171 cm) and weighing 150 lbs (68 kg), Luke is a very lean and fit individual for his age. His face appears very youthful, with no stubble and very smooth skin, and jade eyes that are always narrowed to give him a more intimidating look. He has long, fiery red hair that spikes off to the left side of his head and a pair of "tails" that reach down from both shoulders and hang to his stomach area, with the very tip of each, along with his head spikes, transitioning colour into a bright yellow.

Luke wears an outfit that consists of several components:
-A simple black undershirt that covers the top of his torso and his arm up to the elbow.
-A cloth overshirt, white with gold trimming on the outside and velvet red on the inside, that covers the same area as his undershit, but is cut in an upside-down V shape starting at the middle of the waist up to his breast era, exposing his well-toned abs. The shirt features a colar that is high in the front and is fastened with two black buttons, one on each side of the shirt, just below the neck. The sides, but not back, of the shirt continue past his waist down to his ankles, giving the impression that he is wearing a cape, and on each shoulder, he has two small pockets secured by a flap and a black button. Finally, on the back of the shirt, in between his shoulders, is a large black crest that features a simple rendition horned monster's face and jagged mouth.
-Black pants. They fit him somewhat tightly, but become a little baggy near the ankles. For the most part, they are simple aside from having a pair of pockets just below his knees that are covered by rectangular, yellow flaps.
-Red sneakers with black treads and sides.
-A simple yellow belt with a circular iron buckle that is engraved with a royal crest.
-Brown fingerless gloves that are each bound to his wrists by a pair of yellow belts.

Personality: Luke is an extremely sheltered and spoiled individual. Ignorant about the world, he has no idea how to act in a public setting, speaking rudely and demandingly to everyone he meets and lacks any sort of discipline or knowledge of etiquette. He is very egotistical and cares only about himself and his personal gain. He has little regard for anyone else's well-being and believes that he is never at fault, and that if anything gets damaged he can just have his rich family pay for it. Cocky, self-absorbed and constantly running on a one-track mind, he rarely considers the consequences of his actions and will charge headfirst into conflicts when they block him from his goal. Despite his many faults, he is not a bad person, as he is very adverse to severely hurting or killing another human being, and has a great desire to go out on his own and see the world.

Backstory:
The following is a brief synopsis of Luke's backstory from his source game, Tales of the Abyss:

Luke is the only child of a duke, who is the brother of the king of a land called Kimlasca, which quarrels with a bordering kingdom called Malkuth. Seven years ago, Luke was kidnapped by Malkuth forces and had to be recovered by Kimlascan troops. The trauma he received form the incident caused him to lose all his memories, including basic necessities like how to walk and eat and since that time, he has been forced to stay in his father's manor and be re-educated, though he wasn't told much about the outside world or how to live in it. Loathing the mansion, Luke tried many techniques to escape, but almost all of them failed due to his incompetence or lack of planning. One day, a mysterious girl broke into the manor and attacked his mentor, Van Grants, and in trying to protect him, Luke is accidentally whisked along with the girl halfway across the world and forced to travel the lands in order to make his way home.

@TwinLukes; Your image doesn't seem to be working for appearance D: Maybe the link was broken? In the instances when you want to show a picture, that's okay, but I would also like you to describe the character in words too, in case of this very thing. Plus, it lets you add things like if you have a backpack, etc.

I would also like a little more detail under personality. Try to aim for a solid paragraph (around 5 sentences) for each category. For expansion, think about how he treats his mons, possible reasons for this, anything interesting in his backstory, current goals, etc.


@Kantomasta; See above. We want at least a solid paragraph for Personality and Description if we can. Try to give them tips for expansion if they're short.

 

@WinterVines; I expanded my sign-up sheet, like you requested, I apologise for how it was done before, but it was rather late in the morning. BTW: on my end the image appears fine... but I suppose I will try viewing it as a guest and seeing if it still shows up.

Edit: It still shows up for me, even when I'm logged out, so I'm thinking it might be your browser, but I'll still keep this in mind for future posts.

No worries! Most people need to add a little bit here or there--and if you develop more about the character (like through an RP, not necessarily the game stuff, since you can change that), feel free to add it in at any time. But the sign-up sheet looks great now. It's weird that the image doesn't show up, but now that you have the description, the image isn't necessary anyway.

Personality: Gaius usually only values powerful or strong Pokemon, and battles using pure power and offensive techniques, rarely using status moves or stat boosting moves. Despite favoring sheer power, he can sometimes see the hidden power within normally weak looking Pokemon, such as Weedle (which evolves into a powerful Beedrill).
Description: Gaius has long black hair that goes a few inches below his neck, blue-grey eyes with pale white skin. He usually wears black clothes, with his current outfit being a dark grey t-shirt with a black overshirt and black cargo pants, which can be shortened with built-in zippers to be shorts, depending on the weather.

Personality: Nelson is a very shy and little kid. For the most time he's quiet, however if he is around people he know well, like family or friends, then get very talkative and doesn't know when to shut up. He's very modest and hates it when the spotlight is him. He is a "A" student whose knowledge has surpassed those of his age, at to the point that school becomes very boring for him. For very cares for the wildlife and Pokemon and hopes that one day to become a ranger at the National Park, so he can forever be one with nature.
When it comes to Pokemon battling, Nelson emphasizes Defense. He very much cares for his Pokemon and doesn't want to see them get pounded on the field. Nelson is also very strategic and plans his moves at the beginning of the battle. Yes, the plan may fail, however he will always have a plan B or C.

Description: Nelson is well, short (5,3'). He may fit the description that you may call "a nerd". He wears glasses aid his vision. He has a head full of messy black hair in a somewhat simple hair style. Nelson has a tan tone of skin and brown eyes. He usually wear bright colors and wears a short sleeve shirt with gym shorts, along with a blue shoes (he likes colors...). Nelson has short arms and a some what average length of legs (this is why he can't reach his toes). However though he may be short, he has big feet for his size (he's wearing a size 10), but he does have small hands with small stubby fingers on them. Though you may appear him as a weakling, Nelson is strong. He can pick up things that 65% of his weight. However most of his strength belong to legs. His strength is his legs are due to his big thighs which came along in his genes. He can't run fast, because of his fat legs, but he can kick hard and pick push a boulder down a hill with his legs.

Personality: Heavily dislikes other people and will only easily make friends with Pokémon. He has a long and depressing past, so he refrains from talking much at all. He fears he will become too trusting of a person, then that person will turn their back on him.
Description: Tall, dark and brooding. He always has his pitch black hoodie on and never puts down the hood, so all one sees are his piercingly blue eyes. he also wears a demon's wing pendant and is very protective of it.

Hello! Yes, everyone needs a character to RP around with, whether that's yourself in URPG or a totally made up person.

Pokemon Captured refers to Pokemon you've actually caught in the Park, so this will be blank for you for now, until you go on a run. Natures refers to Pokemon in your stats, but if you just want to keep them in your stats, that's okay!

And I'd like to see just a tiny bit more in personality and description. Maybe how he acts in certain situations? Why did he want to come to the Park at all if he hates dealing with people? What about his past is depressing? Does he have any quirks, like restless leg syndrome? Let us know!

Personality: Heavily dislikes other people and only easily makes friends with Pokémon. He has a horrible, dark past that has left him untrusting of other humans. However, as much as he dislikes humans, he can't help himself from striking up a conversation. He may stop in the middle of a sentence if he thinks he's about to reveal something about himself. Anywho...

He once trusted someone else. Steven had been left out in the forest by his parents, and was all alone. He was lucky to have an Eevee find him and help him survive. He grew up in the forest, not knowing civilization. Around his 10th year in the forest, he found another child like him. One who had been abandoned. Her name was Sera. He teamed up with her to survive and live. However, she slowly came to hate him for having found an Eevee. After a while, she fashioned a knife out of bone. One day, Steven came back to the camp to find Sera missing. He began searching for her only to get stabbed in the back. People of the city found him, thankfully, but he has been scarred ever since. He still wears the scar in his side, just above the hip.

He came to the park to meet new Pokémon, not to meet new people. He loves to let his anger at the world out when he battles, and he does not believe in God (Arceus). He met Arceus one time, and found out that all Arceus wanted to do was exterminate the humans. He stopped him, of course, but he has never believed a "Legendary" Pokémon to truly be legendary since. (See the whole story of this encounter in Stories: The Gem of Arceus! That is, once it's finished...)
Description: Tall. Somewhere around 6'7", in fact. He always wears a pitch black hoodie with the hood up, so all one can see through the shadows covering his face are his piercingly blue eyes. However, with his hood down, he has amazing blue hair of many different shades and somewhat pale skin. His face is always neutral, as is his voice.

Personality: Due to her years of training she had built this strong front to her and refuses to let her size get in the way. If someone tells her she can’t do it she’ll shove them out of the way and show them how it’s done. She’ll be the first one to want to help but if you double cross her you better watch your back. She doesn’t forget what one has done to her. Don’t let her seriousness fool you she can be fun and outgoing once you get to know her.

Description: Molly is rather short only standing about 5 feet. She has what people would call icy blue eyes though she wouldn’t know because she can’t see very well, though she’s not considered to be legally blind. She does wear glasses when doing certain things but most of the time she doesn’t. She’s got chestnut brown hair that’s in a pixie cut. She can usually be found in a t-shirt and track pants. Depending on what she wears her shoes will usually match.

Other: Because of her not being able to see very well she uses her other senses. Most notably her acute hearing and seismic sense. (Please see Toph Beifong for a better understanding.)

Main Stats

Personality: Generally a cheerful person, but tends to let others take the lead. Dan has lived a relatively stress-free life by letting his peers take most of the credit for his actions. Now that he's become an adult though, he is trying to break out of that timid shell and have a life of his own. It doesn't take him long to set a new goal for himself, but when things start to work against him he can get a bit anxious. But when things go well, he exhibits an aura of confidence that brings out his adventurous side. A man of extremes, his lows are moments of total agony, while his highs lead him to great success. Though he may come across as a flake or a selfish person, Dan frequently sets aside his own personal hang-ups to support those around him.

Description: Dan stands at an average height of six feet tall, and has a broad body. His wide shoulders and thick neck give him the appearance of somebody with muscle, but aside from his legs and calves, he's actually a bit pudgy. His brown hair is kept in a short, wild style, and his light brown eyes reveal an active mind with their constant darting motions. He wears a white undershirt underneath a blue and white-striped button shirt. On cold days he'll exchange the shirt for a solid red sweater, and a grey hoodie on even colder days. He always wears a pair of denim jeans and cheap black sneakers when he participates in any outdoor activity, and both show significant signs of wear and tear. While he would prefer to keep his supplies in his pockets, the fit of his jeans means that Dan has to carry a black backpack with him when he goes on extended trips. The pack is small enough for use by a primary school child, making it the optimal cross between comfort and efficiency. The material is a cheap cloth blend, but Dan replaced the bottom and back of the pack with a dark brown leather material to make it stick to his back better, and to prevent tears when he rests it on the ground.

Gender: Male

Personality: Victor is known for his mischievous eyes and playful smile. Always ready and willing to laugh, Victor will make light of almost any situation; this, however, can get him into trouble with some, as he can come off as disrespectful or disingenuous. Despite his immaturity, or perhaps because of it, Victor truly does have a kind and honest heart, and he does his best to offer a hand to those in need. At times, his naïveté can get him into arguments with more cynical folk, and it is then that his impassioned opinions on certain matters are heard. Also, Victor's lack of forethought can get him into tight situations that other trainers would have avoided. All in all, though perhaps not the most intelligent or skillful Trainer, Victor is a person who wants to laugh, love, learn, and have a damn good time doing so.

Description: Standing 5'10'' (178cm) tall and weighing around 160lb (75kg), Victor is a healthy, built man of standard proportions. He has darkly tanned skin with very little body hair. Victor's hair is extremely dark, and he keeps a military style cut - buzzed on the sides with a just a couple of inches of hair on top. He has hazel eyes and a bright white smile; however, his bottom teeth are crooked, causing his smile to come out a little goofy, yet still endearing. His usual attire is a cream-colored, long-sleeved shirt (sleeves rolled up to just below the elbow), worn blue jeans, a worn brown leather belt, and brown walking shoes. Victor stores his belongings in a brown leather shoulder bag (similar to the style of Hilbert in B/W). Also, although he tries to keep clean, Victor usually walks around with a slight 5 o'clock shadow, and he wears it very well.
