Welcome to the Sign-Up thread. This is where you post your SUs for approval by the Rangers, so that you can use that character, solely for Roleplay throughout the Park. You may have multiple SUs, which you can keep in the same post, but keep in mind only official Rangers for the Park may have Ranger characters.

You are also advised to read the Start-up Guide and Park Rules before joining.

Description: (What do you look like? This will help both Rangers and other Trainers envision your character when you interact. Does your character have any quirks, like restless leg syndrome? Aim for a short paragraph.)
Pokemon Captured: After your SU has been approved, you have to keep track of the Pokemon you've captured in the Park. Simply edit them into your stats each time you leave the Park. You can be as specific about when and where you captured them as you like. Be sure to note what Natures they were given.**
Pokemon Natures: As you bring Pokemon into the Park and catch them, you'll need to keep track of their Natures. Please add a Pokemon and its Nature to your stats every time you bring a new one to the Park. For example, if you bring Gengar to the Park for the first time, make sure you edit it into your stats along with the Nature you chose. You only have to add each Pokemon once, and only as it's brought into the Park. You can also add your Pokemon's Natures in your regular URPG stats, if you wish to.
Park Items: You can either keep track of Items you've bought/used here, in your regular URPG stats, or both. Just make sure you keep track of them somewhere.

After a Ranger approves you and you have all the necessary supplies, you are ready to apply to go on a run. Sign-ups are stored in the Archive for easier access.

Personality: Sociable, but a little bit harsh and condescending. Prejudging to humans, accepting to Pokemon.

Description: Tidy, neck length, pale blue hair with front bangs that fall just above his eyebrows. Golden eyes, wears a dark red scarf, black shirt underneath a dark blue jacket, a black leather belt, black jeans, and blue running shoes. About 5"10.

Personality: The Outdoors type, Seth isn't afraid to get a little messy, and is known to be quite stubborn.
Description: His hair is a light brown color, and unsually ruffled . He wears what ever he can find on the floor of his room, more often then not a black and grey sweater and a pair of jeans. His shoes are covered in dirt and other stains. He doesn't remember himself whether they were ever white or not.

Name: Darian Tyros

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Personality: As neutral as the Hardy nature is among Pokemon abilities, for Darian it means he has perseverance to spare. When it comes to going after something he's interested in, he's quite driven. Nothing really stands in his way, and he can press through any terrain without too much difficulty. Every now and then, he accidentally pushes his Pokemon a little too hard because of it, though.
He's quick to make friends, and tries to be as helpful as a friend can be to boot. He can be somewhat naive when it comes to listening to people he perceives as friends, though. He can't remember how many times he got lost in the forest over night because of stories of a rare Pokemon inhabiting it. Whether it was a Jirachi or the ever-elusive Piplup, if he heard it from a friend, it was rare that he doubted it.
In fact, he's come to the island as a tip from a friend...

Description: About average size for guys of his age, maybe a little toward the small size, he measures up at around 5'7''. Weighing in at 160 pounds, he's light, but not excessively so for his age. His hair is medium length, just starting to cover his ears. His eyes are green and his hair is a darker shade of blond. On the day he arrived on the island, he wore a plain red shirt with a large Pokeball on the front, a light yellow hat, and blue jeans. No matter what set of clothes he's wearing, his Pokeballs always sit right at his belt loops.
In his bag, he carries a golden on one side and silver on the other reversible jacket made of sleek, water-resistant material for cold or rainy weather. The bag is a normal backpack, many pockets for different items, and colored black, with the outermost pockets a bright white. His shoes are a dark green, the laces a clear blue. Extra pairs sit in his bags, along with his extra clothes.

Pokemon Captured:
Chikorita (Rosemary) - He was surprised to see that, on one of his trips into the forest off of a tip from a friend, that friend was right, and an injured Chikorita was resting in a clearing. After nursing it to health, it didn't really want to leave him. And so, he had his first Pokemon. He didn't have a Pokeball for it at the time, and never saw the need to buy one after it kept sticking around. He named it Rosemary, because he felt like the name was fitting for the little female plant Pokemon.

Pokemon Natures: Chikorita is of the Calm nature. Cool and collected, it never panics in a tough situation.

Name: Akinai

Age: 21

Gender:Female

Personality: Tries to keep a carefree and positive outlook on things most of the time, but once things turn for the worse or a battle begins this all falls through. When in a corner, she turns dead serious and tries to stick on the defensive, only going in for an attack when there's no other choice. Has a pretty stubborn personality as well; once she makes up her mind on something, whether it's a decision or Pokemon/person, it is almost impossible to change her mind.

Description:


Midlength black hair that appears to be dyed, green contacts (eyes are light blue without contacts). No matter the weather, always wears a long sleeved jacket with a dark blue/bordering purple hue. Usually wears dark gray jeans and a basic green shirt.

Name: Katsuya
Age: 19
Gender: Male

Personality: A typical late teen, Katsuya (Kat for short) focuses a lot on his personal style and the way he presents himself, both in personality and appearance. He's not afraid to stand up for himself and can be even antagonistic at times, but generally he will look out for the underdog and stand up for both his friends and his Pokemon. Often gets a lot of angst from his younger brother, who seems to take particular pleasure in torturing his brother, but also has a very close relationship with him. He likes to think of himself very much as a kind of moral compass.
Description: Generally looks after his appearance: his hair is particularly odd, though, as it is highlighted with many different colours. Naturally blonde, but now has red, purple and copper tints in there. Like to wear t-shirts or short-sleeved shirts and some pair of jeans/shorts, depending on the weather. Can majorly dress up given the right occassion, however.

Name: Jathan Carter
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Personality: Jathan is a quiet and shy yet fiercely loyal individual, who has a strong sense of justice and is quite willing to bend a few rules to ensure that what he feels is right will occur. He is an aspiring Pokemon Breeder, and he comes into the Park whenever he can to catch new Pokemon to work with. He talks a lot about a variety of different things but he has principle interests, those being Pokemon training, video gaming, and breeding. He lives in the shadow of his elder brothers, who are a Gym Leader and Elite Ranger respectively.
Appearance: Jathan isn't much of a looker, and he knows it. He dresses for comfort as opposed to aesthetic appeal, normally sporting a T-shirt, a hoodie, shorts, and boot-like joggers. His sole concession towards style is a gauntlet-like bracer on his right arm to which his Pokeballs are attached. Jathan has mid-length brown hair, brown eyes, is quite tall and is slightly overweight.

This is a LOOOOONG post. Sorry it will take you so long to read.

Name: Dante. (Yes, I've made up a last name. But it will only be revealed through roleplay.)

Gender: Male.

Age: 16.

Appearance: He is tall, about 6', maybe a little less, rather thin, weighs somewhere around 130 pounds, and a bit muscular. He has white skin, not quite pale, has short black hair, which is simply combed back, and very, very dark brown eyes, practically black. He wears a black shirt, dark gray pants, and black shoes. He almost always uses leather fingerless gloves (think Ash's gloves, but pitch black, and with a black wrist). He almost always wears a slightly long black jacket with who-knows-what in it. (His jacket serves as a kind of Bag.)

Personality: Dark, logical, cold, calculating. A dark aura seems to pervade him. Serious. Thinks ahead. He does not make friends, as he does not talk. He simply walks away from anyone who tries to befriend him, as they do not understand what he has been through, and they are too naïve to understand. He is a tad arrogant. Too much has harmed him. Although, it seems as if he just needs someone to understand him...But he never believes that it will happen, as in his eyes, no one has been through what he has.

He originally thought he only liked Pokémon for the potential for money, but eventually he admitted to himself that he liked their cute nature. Of course, he wouldn't tell that to anybody.

He always pushes new Pokémon too hard, and dismisses them as too weak if they falter. Although if his Pokémon really keeps failing at doing what he tells it to, he will walk up and reassure it. If it is too weak to continue, he will recall it. He isn't bad enough to the point where he will leave his Pokémon if they aren't strong enough.

He is rumored to carry a gun, to protect himself. (Of course, he actually doesn't, for obvious reasons, but you don't know that in roleplay.)

History (It's LONG. I'm not joking. REALLY FREAKIN' LONG): Okay, it's so big I had to throw it in spoiler tags. Seriously, you might need to take five minutes. Sorry.

Dante was your not-exactly-average fourteen-year-old boy. He did exceptionally well in school, and was called a mathematical prodigy by his parents and teachers. He even dipped his toe into computer programming once (during that time, he became very well versed with computers). His dream was to become a Pokémon Master, like pretty much every other kid in his school. Even though it was a school for kids whose parents didn't want them running off on an adventure.

And then it happened.

His parents were brutally killed by a few Team Rocket goons and their Rhydons. Their motives were never found out. As far as he knows, they walked in the back door, probably talked for no more than two minutes, and then attacked his parents. He was watching at a safe distance; he was walking home over a hill. He heard screaming, and probably saw something through the window. As quickly as he could, he ran to the police station, where he told the police, who were then dispatched to his house. The goons had gotten away, and all that was retrieved were his parents' dead bodies.

His dreams were shattered; taken away from him. The life he once knew was gone in a flash.

He was emancipated, due to him proving his knowledge and ability to sustain himself, and then began a life of taking care of himself. It was a rough world. He learned to fight with his fists, as people thought he could be stolen from easily. Eventually he got a job, opened a bank account, and earned enough money to rent a small apartment, as it would cost too much money to keep paying for the mortgage on his parents' home. He was able to keep most of his possessions, including a few old Poké Balls, to remind him of his old life and dreams.

As if his life was about to get better again. Recently, the economic recession had hit. He was fired from his job. Thinking logically, he realized that he would not be able to pay for his apartment any longer than the next month. Jobs were scarce, and he was kicked out of his apartment. He bought a tent and some food, and set off to find a new way of life.

He needed to eat, as all humans do. Without a job, he had no way to make money. A thought occurred to him: what happened to his dream of becoming a Pokémon Master? He quickly silenced himself, as that would be too childish. But then he told himself that battling for money could be a good way to make cash. Yeah, it would have nothing to do with his old dream.

But he didn't have a Pokémon. He saw the Poké Balls left over from his childhood, and figured he could use one of those. He ran into the nearby forest. It was dark out, but there was still a little light left. Eventually he got tired of running around, and sat down. A Gastly came up to him. Surprisingly, it was not hostile. It seemed to sympathize with him, and the pain in his past. It was close enough, so he took out a Dusk Ball and threw it at it. The Gastly didn't resist, and he became his first Pokémon. Today, he still uses that Gastly to battle for money, enough to feed himself. Sometimes he goes into the National Park to catch new Pokémon, who will increase his chances of winning battles.

He might have re-adopted his old dream, but if he did, he would never admit it.

(Tell me if I made a mistake here, it's so big there has to be a mistake or two somewhere.)

RP Experience: I used to roleplay a lot when I played World of Warcraft (which I no longer play). Since chat logs and videos were never made, sorry, but you'll just have to take my word for it. If you don't believe me, believe the GIANT FREAKING HISTORY.

He tries to let the Trainers do as they please, so long as they don't damage or harm the environment. He has three brothers, Cameron, the second eldest, and Alex and Rex, the twins. He watches over them at times and trained Rex and Alex to become Rangers. His starter Pokémon is Houndoom, who he named Shadow.

Before that, he was a Pokémon collector and trainer who collected many different Pokémon. While he was a trainer, his Pokedex count was way over 375. He beat all five regions gyms and has defeated three of the four Elite Four. He still has one more before he faces the Champion. His starter Pokémon was Reuniclus who he named Cosmos

Personality: Zeferin is a person that comes across as polite, formal, and chivalrous, making him seem like the perfect gentleman. If true, though, Zeferin is a rude cynic that puts up the nice guy front. It's not that he want to act cool, or that he wants to get anyone's attention: he simply just likes the idea of making others believe in what isn't.

Description: Zeferin is tall but thin [about 6'4" and 180lb *193Cm and 82kg*], and has straight, shoulder length, snow-white hair. What he wears depends on the weather and area, but normally it is dark in color and looks fashionable.
