The Togekiss followed its orders, and began to float towards the Riolu, though it shakily approached the humanoid dog Pokemon, readying the Air Slash attack, before unleashing the Shadow Ball. The Togekiss then slashed the Shadow Ball with the Air Slash attack, and the ball of energy hurtled towards the Riolu, slamming into it, sending it skidding backwards. The Togekiss began to falter in hovering above the ground, struggling to remain focused, as the Riolu staggered to its feet. The Riolu, noticing the Togekiss' confusion, leapt into action, and began running forward, appearing to be using yet another Force Palm attack.

Suddenly, the Riolu jumped high into the air, and stretched its right leg out, slamming it into the Togekiss. The Riolu landed in a crouching position behind the Togekiss, standing up and smiling after pulling off the Hi Jump Kick. The Riolu decided it wasn't going to let its advantage be lost, and launched an Aura Sphere at the Togekiss. The Togekiss turned round as the sphere of energy slammed into it, and it crashed into the mountain wall, and remained still for a moment, before hovering once more above the ground. The confusion seemed to be more distant than earlier, as if it were wearing out.

Jay threw the Parkball, which hurtled through the air, tapping the Riolu, and sucking it inside, before landing with a thud on the ground. It wobbled once, then twice, and stopped, appearing as if it were about to burst open, before wobbling again, and a click rose into the air signalling the capture. Talon walked forward, picking up the Parkball, and placing it in the satchel he was carrying, counting the number of captures. He counted three, and turned to look at his trainer.

"Congratulations, you have captured a Riolu." Talon smiled. "Do you wish to continue in the Park, and see what you find, or do you want to finish now?"

"Congratulations, you have captured a Riolu." Talon smiled. "Do you wish to continue in the Park, and see what you find, or do you want to finish now?"

"I think I'll leave," I said slowly. "It has been such a great experience for me, but I feel as though my time here has come to an end. I'm ready to be escorted," I said with a smile. "Thanks again for being my ranger," I said as we began the long trek back to the front gate through the deep snow. This was an experience I would never forget.
