Individual Run: Synthesis.

"Nothing in particular. Just some rare things or anything that catches my eye really. I'm ready to go when you are," Jay said. I guess he wasn't interested in looking for a Ferroseed any longer since he no longer bothered to play its Voice Disc. Guess he must have changed his mind since the first point when he used it. I also figured he wasn't going to use his Tropius Disc here either, since if I remember hearing correctly he had actually just recently obtained a Tropius. That was all right, because at least he managed to get his Kangaskhan disc to work, and getting a single disc work is something to be happy enough about. So then with that we were off once more.

I lead Jay down the right side of the Gardens, the area where Mincinno came out from. This area was a little more than what you would expect of the plains. Namely that there were more trees than you would usually find. That was a good thing here though, because something like more trees meant we would be more likely to find a Pokemon sooner, rather than later. I was right, since only about ten minutes after walking down this way, a Pokemon raced down from atop one of the trees.

It was basically a brown, and white, or cream raccoon. It was uniquely colored, seeing as how it had a layer of brown, and then one of cream on its body from its head to the tip of its tail, repeating three times for both colors. Its fur was jagged, giving it essentially a zigzag pattern, perhaps explaining how it got its name, since it was essentially a combination of zigzag and raccoon. Each of its feet had three claws, and it had a black mask over its brown nose, and eyes. As you would figure with a raccoon it was good at finding items and such laying around due to its keen sense of smell, and understanding of its surroundings.

Ohh, this thing has a mask, it must have a lot of personality then, I thought to myself, as Gardevoir looked over no doubt thinking, idiot, but hey, I stand by what I believe.

We began to move on from where we encountered the Mincinno and the shurbbery and rees began to grow much more densely. As a result of this, it was substantially darker thanks to the cloak the trees provided from the sun, which was good during hot days.

After just a few moments we met another Pokemon. I recognised this one as a Zigzagoon, a very cool little Pokemon. Its black snout was burried in the foilage, but I could tell this little fellow had sass. I didn't really want to capture it because I only had one slot allowed of Captured Pokemon allowed take out.

"I don't want to catch this cool little fellow immediately. Maybe it can travel along with us if it wants. If not, I'll just move on without him. I would catch it but the Pokemon restriction kind of limits my choices."

May as well do something to keep your options open, just in case he didn't run into anything he wanted, while at the same time he wouldn't be wasting a ball in case he caught this, and ran into something else he wanted later on. Seemed like a decent enough idea, just as long as Zigzagoon was for it.

"So, what do you say little guy. Do you want to follow us?" I asked the Zigzagoon, who nodded, and seemed to be all for the idea of this. "Well that settles it then, you'll be coming with us until Jay decides if he wants to battle, or if he wants to leave." With that then we once again headed on our way, though this time with an extra passenger on board.

We got out of this area of trees, and made our way back into the grassy area. Zigzagoon was a curious traveler, as it sniffed around for anything, but that could have been bad in case it got into a fight. I had to make sure that wouldn't happen. Hey Gardevoir, keep your eyes on that thing okay? If it goes to start any trouble make sure you break it up instantly, I said to Gardevoir, who nodded, understanding what I meant. We continued walking along for about another five or so minutes, before something actually came racing up to us.

It was a two headed, somewhat bird like Pokemon. It somewhat resembled an ostrich, though it was brown in color. It had no arms, but it did have two long, thin tan legs, each with four clawed toes. It's body was generally covered in fluffy feathers. It had two long necks, one for each head which would change color for the different genders. When female it would have brown necks, while if it was male it would have black ones. Its eyes were black in color, and each head had a long sharp beak. When this thing evolved it would somehow sprout a third head, which I could not explain in the least bit.

"So what do you say little guy. Do you want to follow us? Gary asked the little Zigzagoon, who nodded and leapt up playfully. I scracthed the back of its head and it made a weird purring-like sound. It shot ahead as we walked, head buried in the grass and leaves, sniffing. I laughed at it a little. You know, it wasn't bad having this cool little guy around.

Suddenly, a Doduo came rushing up towards us. This peuliar twin-headed bird I was not interested in.

"Let's ty move on. I'll use a Pokedoll if needs be. I have 24,500 and will have 24,000 if we need one."and leaves, sniffing. I laughed at it a little. You know, it wasn't bad having this cool little guy around.

Couldn't really blame him on that one though since they were fairly common, and they weren't that useful. The only question now though was if it would allow us to pass, or if Jay would need to buy a doll. I mean with two humans, a Gardevoir, and a Zigzagoon standing here, so if it was feeling daring it would want a battle.

I started to walk towards the creature to get around, and it decided to just run off like it had been doing before we ran into it. "Well, that wasn't much of a hassle," I said as I looked over at Jay. "Let's keep going, maybe something good will show up," I said, as I started to lead him along the way once again. We continued to walk along the path we were on, for like another fifteen minutes before we got to an area of bushes. At this point Zigzagoon started to growl at one of them, which caught my attention.

"What's the matter?" I asked, obviously not expecting an answer from it, but Gardevoir could tell me what was going on.

There's something behind there, but I can't really tell what since it seems to be concealing its power.

Well, whatever it is it's probably bound to come out from there eventually, I said to Gardevoir, as the creature decided to show itself only mere moments later. In order to be able to conceal its power it either was a Psychic-type, or something very powerful that was good at hiding itself.

It was small hedgehog looking creature. I found it hard to believe such a little guy had such tremendous power, but hey you couldn't always go based on looks, and this was a Legendary Pokemon after all. Its body was white in color, and it was covered in green fur, which seemed to resemble grass, most likely making it able to easily hide in these parts by blending in. It had two flowers on its body, one on each side of its head. Though it was small, it was also incredibly unique. If it touched a specific flower its form would change into something that seemed completely different. Though it couldn't maintain this form forever, in fact it couldn't stay in it at night, or if its frozen. But still, even in this form it was a very graceful, and cute little Pokemon.

"Look at that, it's a Shaymin. It's very rare to end up seeing it."

As soon as we made to leave, the Doduo simply scampered off. I knew I'd made the right decision right then. Who would want a Pokemon so easily scared like that. I mean, I knew it got the Run Away ability, but that was just sad...

"Let's keep going, maybe something good will show up," Gary said.

We continued as the trees grew denser once more. Suddenly, Zigzagoon, who had been quite quiet until that point, began to bark out angrily. Gary looked at his Gardevoir, who seemed to be trying to explain something to him with her eyes. Eventually, a little hedgehog-like Pokemon burst out of the bushes.

"Ah, a shaymin," I said. It was quite a rare sight so I knew I had to take a picture. I whipped out the camera and snapped a quick shot of the Grass type legendary.

"Ah, a Shaymin," was all Jay said when he caught a glimpse of the Grass-type Legendary. He of course then followed up in the way that most people who encounter a Legendary do, and snapped its picture. With the flash of the camera Shaymin was gone just as quickly as it had appeared. Though I wasn't sure if the picture was what actually scared it away, or if it was just because it was frightened easily. Either way though we were once again off.

We continued to walk along the path I was leading us on, for about another ten or so minutes with everything being quite. I made sure to stop at any tree, bush, or any little spot where a Pokemon could be hiding, to see if there was anything hanging around. Unless it was hidden in a tree or something like Mincinno was earlier, most Normal-types were easy to spot, but Grass-types, well they could blend in with any of the surroundings here, making them easy to miss. The last time I was here with a trainer I nearly stepped on an Oddish, because it blended in so perfectly with the area. Pokemon going unseen due to blending in almost proved itself to be true when we came across a field of flowers. One of the things in there seemed to be moving against the wind, which had led me to believe it was in fact a Pokemon.

I walked over there to examine, and it was in fact a small Grass-type Pokemon. What I had seen in the distance was the three green leaves it had growing out of the top of its head. When you took a really close look at this thing it kind of reminded you of an onion in appearance, mainly due to its body size. But also because of the way its body was shaped like a bulb, and the fact that it was green, and white in color like onions commonly are. Its face was crescent shaped, and only had a set of eyes on it, no mouth or nose. The bottom of its bottom had a total of five stubs, two of which acted as legs, and two of which acted like arms until it evolved. Some called this a counterpart to Cottonee.

As soon as we ha snapped the picture of the little Grass type hedgehog, it had disappeared. I knew that there was no point trying to look for it because whemever a Ledgendary Pokemon appeared, it never stayed for long. They were also very adapt at disappearing in the blink of an eye.

However, we carried on. Zigzagoon seemed content just to be busying itself near us. At one point, it raised its wet black snout into the air, before dropping down and continuing to shuffle along. After a while Gary noticed a Pokemon that was blending perfectly into the background. It looked like a cutesy onion.

"Did you happen to want a Petill Jay?" he asked.

"Not really. Let's continue on and hope it lets us go. I have 28,000 if it doesn't want to, so I can buy a Pokedoll."
