It had been awhile since Aleria last went on a run to... well, anywhere, really. After her time with Gaius, she needed a breather. A nice, long breather. She'd taken Doctor Airik Stormgrad on a run for all of maybe five, ten minutes before he called it quits, and that was when her break had started.

And a nice break it was.

But it was kind of a short lived break. While she'd been told to take as long of a break as she wanted, Aleria missed the park. She missed interacting with trainers that weren't total assholes, she missed seeing the Pokemon... she missed it all. And after hearing about how there was a bit of a line for the park that would only get longer once the Pokemon from Kalos started frequenting the park, Aleria stepped up and told them to give her a run. Any run. Whether it was with Gaius or Airik or some random kid they found on the street. If there was going to be a nice, long line when the Kalosian Pokemon started coming into the park because people wanted to wait, Aleria wasn't going to make the ones who wanted to go right in wait any longer than necessary.

So the rangers gave her a run.

And it wasn't Gaius (thank Arceus) or Airik, but some kid by the name of Voltaire Magneton. 'Well, that's a new one,' Aleria thought as she walked out of the park office, reviewing the information on her PDA. It was another Engima Ruins run, and Aleria made a mental note that the next run she went on could not be to the ruins. She'd been there at least three times already, more than any other park area. Change was a necessary evil in life, and Aleria wanted it. She took a red and white capsule off of her belt and released an orange Pokemon with wings.

"Alright, Riza, we're off to the Engima Ruins," she told the Charizard, who merely grunted at her. Aleria shrugged before climbing onto Riza's back. "Right. To the ruins."

With a roar and a flap of her wings, Riza kicked off and soared the skies. While Aleria enjoyed a nice walk, she'd be doing enough of that during her run with this Voltaire kid. Not to mention flying was faster and easier, and Aleria wasn't the kind of girl to show up to a job late. Rangering was no exception. They landed, and Riza went right back into her Poke Ball, but not before Aleria thanked her for the ride. She took a seat on a nearby rugged rock, just outside of the gate that led into the ever changing ruins.

It was a waiting game now.

OOC: Rhode's a male. My fault.

    ---

"Victoria, ready to fly?" I asked my Crobat. The Crobat growled in glee. She liked adventures, and my trip to the Enigma Ruins will make her explode in happiness. "Let's go to the Ruins! I'll point out the way."

We took flight, me holding on to the Crobat. I am quite amazed on a Pokemon's strength. Looking at this Crobat would make me doubt on the possibility of travel, but she could do it.

We reached the Enigma Ruins after a few minute. We landed on the southern part of the island, as I can tell. Trees shrouded the island, but the old walls of the Ruins are still visible. We walked the islands, until we saw the entrance. Nearby the entrance, I saw a woman sitting on a rock. Assumed she was the Ranger Aleria, I walked to her and waved. "Are you the Ranger? I'm Voltaire, by the way, and this is Victoria, my Crobat. I do hope we can start the journey now, but don't worry, we can take our time."

"I am indeed your ranger. The name's Aleria, but most people just call me Al," Aleria replied, smiling. "Nice to meet ya, Voltaire." She gave a nice casual wave to Victoria the Crobat as well before standing up and walking over to the gate. As she unlocked it, she continued to speak. "I'm not sure if you've ever been to the ruins before or not, but I'll go ahead and give you this fair warning anyways. The environment can change at the blink of an eye. The few times I've been here, I've noticed it changes to suit the Pokemon you'll encounter." With the gate unlocked, she pushed it open and led the way in. Once Voltaire was inside the boundaries of the ruins, she closed and locked the gate.

It was time to have some fun.

She led the way into the ruins, walking around crumbled rocks and walls to get there. Once inside, Al stopped for just a moment to scan the area, waiting to see if the environment would change as soon as they set foot inside. Nope. Nothing. Instead, they were in some dark ruins. "Right, we need some light then, I suppose. Chandelier, this is your job!" There was a white light, and then a purple flamed chandelier appeared in front of her. "Lead the way, Chandelier." The purple flamed Pokemon led them on, and Al took the time to introduce the Pokemon to her ranger. "This here is Chandelier, my Chandelure. Not exactly the most original nickname, but I'm not super creative." She laughed, casually glancing over at the hieroglyphs on the walls. "I'm surprised the environment hasn't changed yet."

But when her eyes fell upon the little red Pokemon with orange-yellow eyebrows, she understood why. Darumaka was the pre-evolved form of a Darmanitan, and they were typically found around ruins. The little Darumaka bounced up and down excitedly once its eyes fell upon Aleria, her Chandelure, Voltaire, and his Crobat. This was her kind of Pokemon, Fire type and all. But this wasn't Aleria's run, and she already owned one, except it was the evolved form, Darmanitan, not the basic form. "Do you want a Darumaka?"

From the entrance of the ruins, we already saw a Darumaka at what seems to be the ruin's lobby. The Darumaka greeted us with glee, evident from its body messages.

"Are you interested in a Darumaka?" Ranger Aleria asked me. For me, Darumaka is great when it evolves to Darmanitan. The problem is that it has a massive Attack but abysmal Special Attack. Also, in a Darmanitan's Zen Mode, the Attack and Special Attack values go to a switch. I think it is a great addition to my collection of Fire-types and Zen Darmanitan's Psychic-typing makes a great cover up.

"Yup, I'll battle that one," I replied. I returned Victoria to her Poke Ball and brought out Rhode, a Roserade.

"Rhode, let's sprinkle everything with Water Sport!" I commanded the Roserade. Rhode's way of using Water Sport reminded me of water sprinklers. "Remember, spin while sprinkling!" I said. Rhode would release water, dew in reality, from his bouquet and would sprinkle water everywhere while spinning like some masculine ballet dancer. We practiced to limit the sprinkling to prevent unnecessary hitting of others from the waters. Now, he would try not to make us wet and the Darumaka all soaked up.

"Rhode, good job! Now use Stun Spore!" I followed. As far I can see how he liked to do it, he would rotate his bouquet of flowers like some kind of turbine but mixed with grace and style. These spores are very potent in causing paralysis to opponents and his style alone can cringe his opponent. Unlike Water Sport, he won't hit us with the spores due to his movement, so we're safe.

First encounter and there was already a battle. Aleria was pleased. While one could find twenty things and catch four in the ruins, Aleria was particularly pleased when trainers found things they wanted right off the bat. It meant there would be a nice streak of good luck...

A streak of luck that just went down the drain.

'Water Sport? Really?' she thought, frowning slightly. While she approved of Voltaire's tactics in reducing the power of the Darumaka's Fire type attacks, she didn't like getting wet. No, sir, ma'am, whatever you want to be called. Water was not something in Aleria's future, however, as the sprinkles of water only covered the opposing Pokemon and the area surrounding it. Not a single drop of water touched Al. She was pleased, much more so than she was by the fact that Voltaire was already trying to catch a Pokemon. Even Darumaka seemed to enjoy the water, bouncing up and down happily, even going so far as to dancing in the sprinkling water.

But then Darumaka showed its ignorance.

Yellow spores left Roserade's pink and blue flowers, and they were headed straight for the cheerful Darumaka. The silly little Pokemon danced right into the spores, and it jolted to a stop, shuddering slightly. Stun Spore induced paralysis, which was actually quite good in not just a normal battle situation, but the park as well. It aided in captures, thankfully. But paralysis wasn't going to stop this overly happy Darumaka. No, sir. In fact, the little guy charged forward and sank its firey teeth into Roserade's right arm. The Roserade shouted the name of its species in pain as the flames scorched his arm. While it didn't leave a burn, it did do a nice amount of damage to the flowery Pokemon.

Oh, that Fire Fang truly hurt. I must do something to prevent Rhode from getting hurt. Anyways, his work is done; weakening the opponent with water and paralysis. Time for serious battling.

"Okay, Rhode! Return now!" I said while taking his Poke Ball taking him back. I took another Poke Ball and released Noir, my Dusknoir.

"Go Dusknoir! Use Hex!" I commanded the Dusknoir. I know Hex as a great move in dealing great amounts of damage. It is better used when you first deal some status condition to the opponent. For the Darumaka, the paralysis counts as the status condition. Noir would create a shadowy, black mass, into which he would conjure some kind of shadow to cover the opponent. While inside the shadow, the opponent would get hurt pretty badly. The method of how it deals damage is unknown to me, but hopefull Noir could deal a significant amount of damage.

The Roserade was returned and replaced with a rather odd looking ghost with dark grey and yellow coloring. (Aleria was kind of grateful that it wasn't black and yellow. That horrendous song would be stuck in her head if it was. The silly musician that invented that song needed to be slapped.) Dusknoir, despite its odd appearance, was actually a rather useful Pokemon. Kind of rare too, now that Aleria thought about it. This Voltaire guy must've been pretty lucky if he had one of them. Al was a tad jealous, not that she'd admit it.

But now wasn't a time for her jealousy. No, now was a time for action. Now was a time for Dusknoir to take advantage of Darumaka's paralysis as it danced around in circles, grinning happily. Aleria thought it was her, but it was suddenly getting a tad warmer in the ruins. Maybe it was because there were two Fire types in their vicinity. Whatever, it didn't matter. Hex put an end to Darumaka's dancing, the shadowy mass that covered Darumaka exploding, making the little red Pokemon cry out in pain.

Al blinked, suddenly, looking around. Had it gotten brighter in this ruin too? It was dark enough that they needed light, yes, and Chandelier was providing that for them, but Al could've sworn there was more light beyond what her purple flamed chandelier Pokemon was giving off. And then a beam of green yellow light struck the Dusknoir, and Al's attention jumped back to it.

    Everything was explained now.

    Sunny Day and SolarBeam.

Crafty Darumaka that was, Aleria noted as the little red guy collapsed due to its paralysis. It explained why it was suddenly warmer and brighter here in the cave. This little guy was smart, and Voltaire was just as smart for wanting to catch one. She could smell a battle of the wits here, and it excited her. "Looks like it's used Sunny Day. I know you've dulled its Fire type attacks with Water Sport, but with the sudden strength of the sun in here, you may want to be careful. I'm not quite sure how the sun affects Water Sport."

    ---

The Sunny Day and SolarBeam attack of the Darumaka was a very great tactic. It dealt a significant amount of damage to Noir, but Pokemon like Noir are very sturdy with its high Defences. For now, these intense sunny rays are powering up the Darumaka's attacks, notably its Fire-type attacks and the SolarBeam attack. What I should do is to weaken the sun a bit.

"Noir, use Night Shade to cover up that sunny rays!" I said to the Dusknoir. Night Shade has something to do with the shadows, and from what I usually see when he uses this move is he would conjure shadows from his stomach that was actually something that can be opened like a mouth or something. From that, dark shadows would go out of his body and cover up everything that he wants to be a target. For now, the target would just be the sun with the effect of an umbrella's shade. Hopefully, this would be effective in weakening the sunny rays.

Now that the sunny rays part would be cleared...

"Noir, now take advantage of the shadows and use Shadow Punch!" I commanded the Dusknoir. With the shadowy and the darker shade of the place, it would be easier to conjure and control the shadows. Now, the Dusknoir would conjure and control the shadows and turn it into a closed-fist-like-tendril and hit the Darumaka like a punching bag. I do hope that the shadows are enough to weaken the sunny rays and to strengthen the attack.

And to hit the Darumaka even more...

"Do another Hex, Noir!" I sent another command to Noir. Obviously, this was the same attack I sent a while ago. I think that this won't be affected by the sunny rays because this is manipulated by otherworldly magic rather than the shadows. Just like before, Noir would conjure those otherworldly magic, but this time, the magic would come from Noir's openable stomach. Those otherworldly magic would, again, cover up the Darumaka and hurt it in mysterious ways. I hope again that this move would deal more damage than before.

Aleria smiled when this trainer used Night Shade to block the sudden sunlight that had made its way into the ruins. While she enjoyed the sunlight that occurred, if Voltaire wanted any chance of catching the Darumaka, he would have to get rid of that pesky sun. Whatever made him triumph over the little Darumaka and catch it one of those amazing park balls worked for her. Her job here was to get Voltaire the Pokemon he wanted and also get him through the park safely. If that meant getting soaking wet or having the sun blocked by some shadows, then so be it.

So as Night Shade successfully blocked the sun's rays from assisting Darumaka, the little red Pokemon stopped dancing happily. It was actually sad, and Aleria felt bad for the little guy. With the shadows in play, however, Dusknoir took the upper hand and landed a nice, shadowy fist in the little guy's mouth. Darumaka tumbled backwards, crashing into a rock.

No more pouting. It was time for some big kid games.

But maybe after the constriction of Hex ended. Shadows surrounded Darumaka and eventually exploded, much to the Zen Charm Pokemon's displeasure. This Darumaka was a tough one, despite its happiness, and he ran forward, giving himself enough momentum to start tumbling towards Dusknoir and slamming into his stomach mouth. The impact made Darumaka recoil, stumbling backwards and falling back on his bum, and Dusknoir was only knocked back a little bit. "Looks like it's using Rollout instead now that you've blocked the sun. I wouldn't worry too much since Rock type moves won't do too much to Dusknoir, but it gets stronger over time, so you might want to be careful."

That Darumaka is on a roll, no seriously, it is now using Rollout. Rollout is a very deadly move if you let it roll. I should think of a way to stop the Darumaka to cause madness.

"Noir, use Disable to stop the Darumaka!" I shouted to the Dusknoir. I am thinking that Disable would work since Noir would conjure one of his powers to make a telekinetic power to stop whatever the opponent is doing. He would send the telekinetic powers from his hands and his eye with a faint but highly powerful force that will halt the Darumaka's move.

"Now, do the Shadow Punch move!" I followed up, shouting the command. Just like before, he would control and conjure the (remaining) shadows in the area to make a fist that would punch the Darumaka. Hopefully, the shadows left in the place is still enough to make a strong move.

Now, on second thought, I might consider the capture now. I would just wait a little more...

Things Aleria had learned about Voltaire in their short time together: he was quick on his feet. That or he was really good at listening to people. Aleria liked to think he was quick on his feet though. Whatever. It didn't matter. The point was that he was putting an end to Darumaka's Rollout. Dusknoir's single red eye above the yellow lines that made up a pair of lines and his mouth glowed briefly, and the aura shot out of his large hands, straight for Darumaka.

    Direct hit.

And there was nothing the little Darumaka could do to stop it. Rollout had come to an end.

But Darumaka was quick on his toes too, Aleria noticed. Flames erupted around the little Pokemon's body, and he used the momentum from Rollout to charge forward and slam into Dusknoir's body. The impact knocked the larger Dusknoir back a little, but Darumaka flew back. His attack worked though, leaving a bit of a scorch mark on the Dusknoir's dark grey body. Dusknoir didn't appear to be bothered at all, but Aleria couldn't help but smile at the little Darumaka's confidence. Voltaire was lucky to be fighting this little guy right now. Aleria didn't know how her trainer was feeling, but she would've felt honored to be able to catch such an amazing Pokemon... that was if she didn't already have a Darmanitan.

But anyways, this was Voltaire's battle. Any remaining shadows that had been in the area had been conjured up to form a fist that slammed into the recovering Darumaka's body, knocking the little guy into the stone walls. Poor Darumaka. His eagerness had earned him some abuse, but it seemed like the way he'd been slammed into the wall had made him more eager to fight, despite being so low on energy now. He opened his mouth, and a steady stream of flames was unleashed, striking the Dusknoir and creating a second scorch mark on the Ghost type's body. She could see no burns, which was good for Voltaire, but Aleria felt as if the burn would have helped the poor Darumaka.

"He's getting weaker now. I'd be careful from here on out. If you're trying to catch it, you don't want to knock it out," Aleria warned, nodding to the weakened Darumaka.

Hmm, Darumaka looks weak now. I tried to remember the moves that Rhode and Noir did at the Darumaka to see if the Darumaka is really weak now. Firstly, the Stun Spore that caused paralysis on the Darumaka. Even though it hit, the Darumaka is still energetic. Then, Noir's Hex attack, which dealt more damage due to its paralysis. Then Night Shade to counter the Sunny Day of Darumaka. Then a quite powerful Shadow Punch and Hex came afterward. Then the Disable to stop the Rollout madness of Darumaka and another Shadow Punch. To my estimation, the Darumaka is now weak enough to capture.

Now to start the capture process. "Noir, use Disable to stabilize the opponent!" I said to Noir. Just like before, Noir would conjure that strange telekinetic powers or energies to stop any further movement from the Zen Charm Pokemon. Now, the strange telekinetic powers of the Disable attack would help in the capture process that I am planning to do.

Should I now decide to capture it?

    The answer...

    Is yes.

I took the Poke Ball, a Super Ball, specifically, from my roster of items in my bag. The Super Ball looks like your conventional Poke Ball, except that it has a safari-like decoration or motif in it instead of a red shade on top. Otherwise, it is similar to a Poke Ball. I calculated the distance from my place to the frozen-in-place Zen Charm Pokemon to decide the force to use for throwing the Super Ball.

Oh wait, the Zen Charm Pokemon might resist more. “Noir, just continue using that Disable move!” I reminded the Dusknoir.

Is it now time to really catch the Zen Charm Pokemon? I threw to Super Ball anyways. Hopefully, the Super Ball would go, one wiggle, two wiggles, three wiggles, poof!

Well, this was an interesting approach. Aleria knew Disable could be used to eliminate the usage of a Pokemon's move temporarily, but what she didn't know was that it could render a Pokemon essentially useless. You learned something new every day.

But of course, the paralysis made the Darumaka shiver. While it hadn't been very effective throughout the battle, it was starting to take effect now that Disable was being used on the little guy.

Voltaire threw the ball. A Super Ball, Aleria noted. That gave him better chances, which was good since it seemed like Darumaka was willing to put up a fight. Darumaka was absorbed into the Super Ball in a flash of red light, and Aleria watched as the ball landed on the stony ground.

One shake... two shakes... three shakes... Ping! She approached the ball and picked it up, depositing it into her bag. Darumaka was captured! Maybe Aleria was wrong. Maybe the Darumaka wasn't able to put up a fight anymore. Regardless, it belonged to Voltaire now, which was good. "Looks like you've gained an excellent Fire type," Aleria said, turning to face her trainer. "I've got a Darmanitan myself, and I like having him around. But anyways, I'll hold onto this little guy for you until we're done here. In the meantime, do you want to go hunting for new Pokemon, see what the ruins can give us and all, or do you want to rest for a bit before we go into the madness that is the Engima Ruins?"

Yes! That was my reaction upon the capture of that Zen Charm Pokemon. By their rules, if I remember correctly, I won't be able to get the Pokemon until my visit ends. Anyway, it was very fun. Now, my Ranger asked me if I wanted to continue or rest for a while.

"I would rest and heal up my Pokemon for a while," I said.

I took the Poke Balls of Rhode the Roserade and called him out and called Noir the Dusknoir to come nearer. Then, I took out another Poke Ball and sent out Luke, my Lucario. He is a primarily blue-black-yellow in coloration and kind of looked like an Egyptian god. Anubis?

"Luke, use Heal Pulse on both of them," I asked to the Lucario.

As an obedient Pokemon, he would conjure a bluish-pinkish psychic energy that could heal any wounds or injuries. I know that my Lucario can heal them up to probably full health.

After healing my Pokemon, I called all of them back to their respective Poke Balls.

"HEy, Ranger Aleria, I think we can continue now," I said to my Ranger in a friendly tone.

Well, it was a good thing Voltaire had brought his Lucario with him, Aleria noted as she grabbed the Darumaka's ball and deposited it into her bag. The Lucario knew Heal Pulse, a very useful move designed to heal Pokemon. The bluish-purple aura that surrounded the Dusknoir and the Roserade, bringing their health back up. Great for being in the park, especially when you didn't have those Energy Powders. Aleria carried some with her, but she preferred to hold on to them if she could. They were meant to be used in dire circumstances, and this was not one of them. Not that dire circumstances could be a problem in this run; Voltaire had a Lucario that knew Heal Pulse. Aleria trusted that he would be a-okay.

She nodded when he said he was ready to move on, all of his Pokemon back in their balls. As they walked, their environment started to change around them, and the ancient walls became a grassy area surrounded by flowers of varying colors. The blue sky was full of fluffy white clouds, and the sight really just made Aleria smile. A round pink Pokemon with two jagged green leaves poking out off the top of its head bounced towards them, a huge smile plastered onto its pink face. Once it was close enough, Aleria watched for a moment as it bounced around them. "Are you interested in a Hoppip?"

After the healing session with the help of my Lucario, we contined our journey. As we continued, the scene transformed into a grassy field. Nearby, we saw a Hoppip. Ranger Al asked me if I want one.

"I'l pass. I kinda want a Grass-type, but there might be more choices. Either we avoid, or I can pay for a Poke Doll. I dunno if you have a stock of them, but I will prepare the fee," I said to the Ranger. After that, I took my black wallet and took a sum of 500 in cash to prepare the fee for one of those Poke Dolls.

    @Felly,

OOC: if avoiding won't work, you may bunny me in paying the cash.

Aleria nodded. There were probably better Grass types out there than Hoppip. Not that Hoppip wasn't good because it was pretty good. An excellent Pokemon, actually, especially when it evolved into Jumpluff. But there were better. There was always better. Aleria tried to step past the excited Hoppip, which was now bouncing in front of them, but every time she tried to, the Hoppip bounced in front of her, blocking her path. "Looks like the Hoppip wants a playmate."

She took the five hundred PokeDollars from Voltaire, depositing it into her bag. A Sunkern doll was pulled from the bag when Aleria went to search for a Poke Doll. As soon as the Hoppip's beady black eyes fell upon the yellow and black doll, it started to get even more excited. Aleria chuckled, handing the doll to the Hoppip. "Here you go, little one. Go run off and have fun now, okay?"

"Hoppip!" the Pokemon replied before bouncing away with its new toy.

"Guess we can move on now," Aleria said, bringing her attention to Voltaire. "Let's move on, yeah? I'm sure there's something else here you'd want." As they walked through the grassy terrain, the flowers started to transform into trees. It was fascinating how well the environment at the ruins could change. The sun's rays were now blocked by the tall trees that had suddenly materialized. A small gray bug with brown pincers could be spotted on a berry tree. It was simply resting on the tree trunk, though its green eyes were open just a bit. Aleria pointed to the resting Nincada. "Would you like a Nincada? You get a free Pokemon right there if you want it. Four for the price of three, basically." She laughed, but it was true. When Nincada evolved, you didn't just get Ninjask, but you got Shedinja too. You could only take three Pokemon out of the park, regardless of how many you caught, but after Nincada evolved, it would be like getting four Pokemon. Definitely a good deal right there.

It was a good thing that the Hoppip went out of our way with the help of the Poke Doll. I gave an amount of 500 Poke Dollars to Ranger Aleria for the fee of the Sunkern Doll.

We continued our adventure inside the Enigma Ruins. As we moved on, we saw the gradual change from a grassy terrain to a cool, dark forest. When the transformation ended, Ranger Aleria saw a Nincada resting on one of the trees.

She asked me if I'm interested aong with her comment of getting more Pokemon from that Pokemon due to the Pokemon species. I, too, am quite looking for Bug-types but Nincada and its evolutions are not my type.

"Uh nope, I'll pass. I'll pay if ever the Nincada feels bad enough."

    ---

    @Felly;

I cannot deduct money yet since I'm on mobile. I'll try to next time OR I'll just edit it in.

    EDIT: 3380 - 500 = 2850

    Then if ever I get to use a dol for Nincada, 2850 - 500 = 2350

((As long as it gets deducted. These dolls help Aleria get her salary! :p jk but you really should deduct xD & yes, you'll have $2350 'cause you had to buy a doll. Sorry my dice suck.))

Apparently the catch three, get a fourth for free deal wasn't good enough for Voltaire. Whatever. His loss. Aleria couldn't try to convince him otherwise, unfortunately. If Voltaire didn't want the Nincada, then he didn't want the bug. She tried to lead him past it, but the little bug shot some string at her, causing the redhead to jump and glare at the Bug type Pokemon.

"Really?!" she shouted, frowning. Nincada used String Shot again, this time aiming for her legs. "First a Magby on my first run, now you!" Images flickered through her mind as a Magby threw mud at her and her trainer. That hadn't been a good experience at all. That had been her first run. Merlin's beard, that seemed so long ago. And now here she was, reliving it all over again, except this time with a Nincada that was covering her in a sticky, thread-like substance. Her eyes went to Voltaire, who had readied the five hundred PokeDollars needed for a doll. Aleria didn't hesitate to take the money from him and put it into her bag. She took out a doll, not even bothering to look at what Pokemon it took the form of and chucked it at the Nincada, who caught it with a third String Shot, before storming off and leading Voltaire to his next Pokemon.

Their environment changed again as they walked, just as Aleria finished getting the sticky substance used for String Shot off of her body. From forest to beach, yellow sand was beneath their feet, and the cool blue water washed up on the shore. Beyond the sand was a forest, presumably where some Pokemon were hiding, but Aleria paid no attention to it. If the Engima Ruins were bringing them to the beach, then there was probably a Pokemon here for them to see. And sure enough, there was. A pink Pokemon with a large grey shell that seemed to be eating its tail washed onto the shore. "Brooooooo~" it moaned, grinning with a silly smile as it looked over at Aleria and Voltaire.

Al chuckled. Slowbro were actually pretty cool. "Do you want to be Slowbro's bro, or do you want to run from it?"
