Bronzong let his body shudder as the powerful purple hue engulfed him. Within seconds his whole body was vibrating backwards and forwards rapidly and his breathing fastened. In a quick flash of glaring purple light, he fired the Extrasensory attack. Thin strands of purple light shot through the air before reaching the microwave that was Heat-Forme Rotom. It cringed a little as the purple lances pierced it's tough exterior and I thought I heard an odd hissing noise come from the slightly-ataken back Rotom-Heat. The purple lines faded away after a second or two leaving just a faint imprint in my mind. Rotom seemed to shake off the damage though, and he approached, ready to attack. I heard a horrible sizzling noise just before the Rotom-Heat Forme fired the dangerously powerful attack.

"Oh no, that must be its powerful Overheat attack that Heat-Forme Rotom specialise in. Try and use your Gyro Ball to avoid the attack!" I shouted at Bronzong. I couldn't be sure if he had managed to hear me or not as the sizzling sound had reached quite a volume by this stage. "Go no, Bronzong!" I shouted as I saw the orange flames began to flicker around Rotom's mouth at the microwave's door. Bronzong realised what was happening but he barely managed to swerve out of the way of the first flamethrower. The hot heat waves left an awfully odd ringing noise in my ears and I could feel a headache starting to form. "Bronzong, well done!" I added happily, ignoring my throbbing head.

But, I had predicted wrongly. The first line of flame was just a weaker distraction meant to knock Bronzong off gaurd. I realised this as I saw the devilish look in the spooky-looking Rotom-Heat. I tried to shout out to my oblivious Bronzong but I couldn't as the huge wave of flames poured forwards. The heat became intense an I had to retreat or fear my eyebrows starting to single. Everything ahead of me was a swirling mass of leaping orange, yellow and magenta flames, facing before me in a terribly sinister manner. Within five or so seconds the flames gave away and disappeared completely. That was the thing with Overheat. Especially with odd Pokemon like Rotom. It tended to be a surreal, yet extremely powerful burst of flames that would often disappear within a few seconds. Eyes gaping, I stumbled forward to my burned Bronzong. I shook his shoulders tentatively as I examined his warm steel body. There were several large saucer-like burn scorched all over it's body. Dark sut coated it's body and it flickered with movement before rising back into the air, a broad smile plastered onto it's face.

"Bronzong, you're okay! God, you're so smart using your Heatproof ability. I'm gonna reward you when we get home, but for now.." I trailed off, looking at the devilish Rotom. It looked really weakened by the amount of effort that it had put into that attack and this seemed like our best time to strike. "Gyro Ball, now!" I commanded the large steel bell. It began to fade, whole body disappearing from our vision as it started to spin around in circles. It got faster gradually as it spun around and around until it began to really disappear from view. Then, there was a bright flash as Bronzong shot forward at a blinding speed and rammed into the Heat-Forme Rotom as an act of vengeance. Although Electric type Pokemon resisted Steel type moves I knew this would be quite effective thanks to Bronzong's really low speed stat.

"Excellent job, Bronz-" I was cut across by a bright flash of white light as the opposing Rotom fired off a powerful pent-up Charge Beam attack. It didn't seem to hurt Bronzong all that much, nor did it seem to get much of a Special Attack boost from the attack, which was definitely very good. What it really did do, however, was enrage Bronzong an hopefully... and hopefully power up his next attack.

"Faint Attack!" I roared. I pulled out one of my reserve Hyper Ballas and aimed it at the floating microwave that I had long-awaitied a successful capture. Closing my eyes with concentration, I flung the Hyper Ball at the Rotom.

OOC: Sorry for the bad post, extremely busy irl atm.

James called for a Gyro Ball, and the Bronzong began spinning towards the Rotom again. The electric beam struck the Bronzong, but the twirling lessened the damage it took. It then crashed into the Rotom, knocking it to the ground.

"Faint Attack!" James called, and the Bronzong suddenly disappeared into the shadows. The Rotom warily levitated back up, searching for the large Steel type that was its opponent. Suddenly, it reappeared and headbutted the Plasma Pokemon, knocking it in front of its Trainer's feet.

Seizing the moment, James pulled out a Hyper Ball and tossed it at the wounded Pokemon. It was absorbed into the ball, which began to shake. After a couple seconds, the ball stilled.

"Congratulations, you just caught a Rotom," I said as I walked over and picked the ball up.

James grinned, but the grin soon faded. "I'd like to leave the Park now please," he said.

I nodded, and summoned Dual telepathically from wherever he was. He appeared in a flash of blue light, and teleported us to the entrance of the Plant. I handed James the spheres containing his new Magnemite and Rotom, and wished him well as he walked off. I needed to get back to HQ - God knows how much paperwork had piled up by now.
