    OOC: Super long post, sorry lol. Got carried away. Also, although Ralts has a set MCR of 9k, you don't actually need that much, you only need 7.2k to attempt a capture, so as of now you're good to go whenever. :3

    ~~~~~
    "can I name him now or do I have to wait until I capture him officially?" Sec asked me.
    I smiled. Sec was obviously quite attached to the Ralts, and Dual assured me that the Ralts was quite content.
    "Sure, feel free to name him," I replied. "Just remember, he technically isn't a capture yet: he needs to go into a Ball before he's counted as a capture."
    Just as I finished, the shaking caused small chunks of rock making up the floor to crack, and fall down into darkness. The chink in the floor widened and moved towards us.
    Infernape was the first to fall. His mane dimmed in shock, and he disappeared quickly into the darkness.
    The chasm took me next. One second I was standing on firm rock, the next I was falling.
    <Chainy!> Dual yelled, his mind-voice echoing throughout my head. I could feel him jump into the chasm, and grab the back of my coat.
    "Try to slow us with Psychic!" I called.
    Dual nodded, and he thrust a blue-tinged hand at the ground. I felt myself slow down noticeably.
    Sec missed me by centimetres. He was holding the Ralts tightly against his chest, not even flinching as little pieces of rock struck him all over.
    "Can you slow him too?" I asked Dual. "He's taking a beating."
    <Sorry,> Dual replied. <He's too far away.>
    Dual then winced and looked away.
    "What?" I demanded.
    <The Trainer faceplanted into the wall,> Dual remarked.
    I started feeling a little sick.
    My feet touched the ground relatively gently, like I had jumped down maybe a little less than a metre. The bottom was pitch black, except for Infernape's dimly glowing mane and Dual's glowing blue arm.
    "Check on Sec and the Ralts," I told Dual.
    He nodded, and went to check on them, just as Sec started calling for us. I realised that Dual was applying night vision to both of us.
    "Just stay there," I called out.
    I went over to the Infernape, and it was twitching gently on the floor.
    Sec made a little groaning noise as Dual turned him over.
    <The human isn't in very good shape,> Dual told me silently. <He's got small cuts all over his body, and a nasty gash on his face.>
    "What about the Ralts?" I asked as I pulled a small needle out of my pack. I jabbed the Infernape in the arm, and he immediately woke up and started checking himself all over.
    <Actually, the little one is alright,> Dual said, sounding surprised. He took a long look at Sec.
    <Maybe this human will raise the young one well,> Dual admitted. He then pointed a hand at me.
    <Don't tell him I said that,> he commanded me.
    I grinned, and walked over to Sec.
    "Don't move," I said as he tried to get up. I took the Ralts and passed him to Dual. Dual's horn started glowing blue, and the Ralts' did too. They were obviously communicating.
    I bandaged Sec's face, and then took the Ralts from Dual.
    "Heal him up," I said.
    Dual nodded, and his hands glowed white as he crouched over Sec. I had found out in the past that Wish could be used to treat human wounds, although not as effectively as Pokemon wounds.
    As Dual did so, I looked up to where we had fallen from. We might be able to climb back up, but I wasn't sure. The only other alternatives were to continue either way along this new tunnel, the outwards direction or the inwards direction.
    “Ohm…” Sec moaned as Gallade started to heal his wounds.
    Sec had sustained extreme damage during the fall through the deep chasm. Rubble from the splitting of the pit had severely battered him as he toppled to the ground, his muscles had tightened up from curling round the Ralts to protect it, and hitting the wall at the bottom of the opening had done the biggest number on his body. As Gallade held its hands over Sec he could feel his muscles loosen, his cuts stop stinging, and the overall soreness that had taken over his body slipping away. Once bandaged, healed, and once again holding his Ralts, Sec stood up and began checking over the area that was now around them.
    Sec seemed to be fine after his healing; Ralts seemed to be doing fantastically, it hadn’t sustained any damage from the fall; Infernape had checked itself over and rested its slight wounds away, and Chainy and Dual seemed perfectly fine. The area was extremely dark; the only area which could be seen was the section directly below the hole that had opened in the floor above and the area around Infernape. From what Sec could see the ground around them was significantly rockier than the above area and stalagmites and stalactites littered the entire hallway.
    “Well, luckily everybody’s alright,” Sec said as he gripped his stomach.
    As he had started to talk he had felt a deep tightening deep within his gut. He assumed it was a result of the fall.
    “Why don’t we head inwards? I don’t think that I could make it back up that chasm if we tried to climb it; plus, who knows what kinds of ancient Pokemon live under these caves! We might be able to find some really neat things down here and I’m sure that somewhere the ground leads back up to the top!”
    Sec looked back down at Ralts, who seemed to be so content that it had fallen asleep in Sec’s arms. Sec just smiled and looked back up to the group.
    “Infernape, lead the way!”
    The Infernape led us back into the bowels of the mountain. Little drips of water fell down from the roof onto the ground, commonly getting me wet. Sec held the Ralts gently in his arms as we walked, and it slept quietly.
    I returned Dual to his PokeBall as I knew he was feeling a bit tired from Sec's healing, even though he refused to admit so.
    The shaking and eerie noises continued, although a lot quieter and less frequently than before.
    A small light was just visible up ahead. We all quickly walked towards it, and we were amazed by the sight.
    It was a miniature underground town.
    Little rock dwellings were on the ground, along the walls, and even hanging from the ceilings. The town was lit by strategically placed torches along the walls. The towns' inhabitants were mostly Cleffa, although there was a few Clefairy and I saw one Clefable in the distance.
    At the outskirts of the town, just outside the main chamber, a little Cleffa was playing in the dirt.
    "Want a Cleffa?" I asked Sec.
    “A town…” Sec stared in shock as he looked upon the development.
    The entire establishment, made up entirely of rock, appeared to be home to a colony of Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable. Sec had never seen anything like it. Their little homes were carved into the wals the ceilings, rocks on the ground, rocks hanging from the ceiling, and it was all well lit by the cackling flames of torches. A few drinking ponds could be seen around the open area of the cave and there were two torches placed just next to a large hole on the opposite wall of the miniature town which led deeper into the cave.
    “Want a Cleffa?” Chainy asked Sec as they observed the fairies that pranced about the town.
    “Nah,” Sec returned quickly, “I already have a Clefable, plus, I doubt that we’d be received well here if we waltzed in and started attacking babies! Why don’t we head for the next tunnel on the other side of the town?”
    Sec, Chainy, Ralts, and Infernape began walking towards the other side of the cave when something caught the corner of Sec’s eye. Sec turned to look at a nearby house to see that it had been completely abandoned and that its torch was extinguished, unlike all of the other houses. Bits of rock had been chipped away from the home; the inside was full of cobwebs, and it smelled quite fowl. Sec figured that nobody had used the home in quite some time; therefore, he didn’t feel bad about removing the unlit torch from the bracket which held it in place.
    “Infernape, would you do the honors?” Sec asked as he held the end of the torch towards his pyro monkey.
    With a breathe of blazing fire Infernape lit the tip of the stick and brightened the area around Sec and the others. With a new light source in one hand, and Ralts cradled in the other, Sec then began to lead the party down towards the next tunnel.
    Sec declined the Cleffa, explaining that he already had a Clefable, and he didn't want to separate the Cleffa from its family.
    I agreed with his choice, and so we moved on through the town. The inhabitants largely ignored us, except for the odd few that went out of their way to avoid us.
    We passed an empty dwelling which was full of cobwebs and devoid of light. Sec took down an unlit torch and he had Infernape light it.
    For some reason, this irritated one of the nearby Clefairy. It squealed, pointing a finger at Sec, and then it began chattering away.
    "This Clefairy is challenging you," I advised Sec. "If you don't want to fight it, we better get out of town quickly."
    The small, palely pink colored moon fairy pumped its fists in the air as it growled at Sec menacingly. The little creature seemed to be challenging Sec to a battle over the abandoned torch; it seemed Sec had been mistaken in thinking that the torch wouldn’t be missed. The Clefairy seemed to be extremely angry with Sec for moving it. Sec decided to try to reason with the little creature.
    “I’m sorry little guy…” Sec whispered gently, “But we have no way to see in these tunnels without some light, isn’t there any way that we could take this with us? If you’d like then we could teleport back down here after we’ve left the caves and give it back to you. We only need it while we explore!”
    The Clefairy seemed to ponder the idea, though Sec couldn’t tell if it was accepting the deal or not. He decided to take a chance as he turned to Chainy.
    “Let’s go, I’ll hope that it allows us to leave with it because I’d really rather not battle. If it chases after us then we run, if it gives us a problem then I guess Infernape can take care of it. Come on,” Sec said as he turned towards the cave once again.
    Sec gently explained why we needed the light, and the Clefairy seemed to think it over. It tapped its little head with one finger as it thought.
    It squeaked as it came to a decision.
    It stood in front of us, barring our way, and it chattered angrily.
    I sighed. The Clefairy had every right to object, but I wish it hadn't. I wasn't going to enjoy watching Sec pound it into the ground.
    The Clefairy began singing a little song, muttering the same phrase over and over again. I originally though it was trying to sing the Infernape to sleep, but I realised it was setting up a protective barrier, trying to minimize damage received.
    Although Sec had tried to explain the team’s situation to the Clefairy; however, the Pokemon insisted on being difficult. It stood directly in front of the trainers and began hollering on and on about something. The Clefairy was blatantly barring the trainers’ path and therefore Sec was going to be forced to battle it to get away.
    The Clefairy began the confrontation by chanting a strange song to summon a magical barrier that would protect it. At first Sec was about to return Infernape to its Pokeball, thinking that the Clefairy was going to try to lull the Infernape to sleep; he was relieved that he wasn’t going to have to deal with that sort of problem.
    “Alright, we’ll play its game,” Sec muttered as he prepared for the battle. “Infernape, while it prepares its defenses set up your offenses! Swords Dance!”
    Sec’s commands immediately registered with the flaming primate causing it begin preparing with the impending battle. Seven glowing swords magically appeared surrounding Infernape and the monkey began to perform what appeared to be a sort of tribal war dance. The Infernape chanted and screeched as it flailed its arms around to dance its war dance. As Infernape’s dance came to a close the swords began to slowly fade back into non-existence and Infernape’s muscles instantly doubled in size; the Pokemon had become twice as powerful as before.
    Clefairy’s song had also been finished and it now had a strong blockade which would take almost all of the damage from any of Infernape’s attacks. Luckily for Sec, Infernape had a way to deal with barriers such as this one.
    “Infernape, shatter the Clefairy’s shield and follow up by striking it with a Brick Break! Once You’ve hit the fairy once get up close while its recoiling and use Close Combat to show it why it shouldn’t block out path! Sec shouted as the two Pokemon began to stare each other down.
    Infernape immediately began dashing forward, its right fist was pulled back as if it were gong to strike the Clefairy and its barrier with quit a powerful blast as soon as it was close enough.
    OOC: Clefairy gender plz.
    ~~~~~

    The Clefairy's Lucky Chant finished just as Infernape's war dance did. Infernape muscles suddenly strained and grew, just like in the shows I watched at home.

    "Infernape, shatter the Clefairy’s shield and follow up by striking it with a Brick Break! Once You’ve hit the fairy once get up close while its recoiling and use Close Combat!" Sec cried.

    Infernape lunged forward, darting too fast for the little fairy to evade. He brought his right hand down, smashing straight through the protective shield, and his hand crashed into the fairy, pushing it into the ground. Care of Newton's Third Law of Motion, the lightweight little fairy bounced up into the air. Its fingers began to glow, but Infernape was too fast.

    He barreled after the Clefairy, striking it repeatedly with his hands and feet. Resounding smacks could be heard as all the strikes hit their targets.

    About twenty seconds and twenty-seven strikes later, the Infernape hit the ground, puffing. The Clefairy continued to float through the air, severly damaged.

    But its fingers was still glowing.

    With a tiny little tinkling sound, it pushed its fingers forwards until they met, palms facing the Infernape.

    And a HUGE torrent of water exploded out of nothingness, crashing into the Infernape, pushing it into the empty house, and collapsing the house on top of him.

    I winced.

    "A Hydro Cannon, hey?" I said. "That was extremely lucky."

    OOC: Sorry this post sucks and that I havent posted in a few days. I've been sick so I havent really felt up to writing :[

    Sec was completely shocked that the Clefaairy had gotten so lucky; the chances of it performing a Hydro Cannon attack because of Metronome had to have been a million to one. Now the Clefairy stood, barely, staring down Infernape as it huffed and wheezed for air. Infernape glared back as water dripped from its fur and soaked the damp muddy floor below it. The two seemed to be stuck in an ever-lasting staring contest while Clefairy plotted its strategy and Infernape awaited its next orders.

    “Infernape, light your hands ablaze with Will-O-Wisp, then Mach Punch that Clefairy into next week!”

    Infernape stood calmly as its fingertips instantly set fire; vigorous flames engulfed each of the Infernape’s primal hands as it prepared to dart at the foe. Suddenly, Infernape took off and leapt across the battlefield towards Clefairy at the speed of a bullet. Sec couldn barely see Infernape, all’ Sec could see was the extended blazing fist pointed right for Clefairy.

    OOC: That's fine, take your time. I've been a little busy too, so it wasn't a problem :)

    ~~~~~
    The Clefairy gently floated down to the ground, wheezing and puffing to get its energy back. I knew that Hydro Cannon required a short rest afterwards, and it would probably take even more out of a Pokemon that couldn't use it naturally.
    Infernape climbed out of the rubble, pushing rocks aside as he did so. He shook his mane-like mop of hair, and stared at the Clefairy, waiting for orders.
    “Infernape, light your hands ablaze with Will-O-Wisp, then Mach Punch that Clefairy into next week!” Sec called.
    Infernape held his right hand up, and a point of red light winked into existence over the top of it. The point moved downwards, stretching over his hand as it did so, forming a glove. When the glove was complete, Infernape jumped onto the ground.
    The second it hit the ground, it blurred off. I could barely see it. The only thing that was easy to see was Infernape's fist, which was glowing cherry red.
    The Clefairy couldn't react in time. The deadly punch hit, and it was thrown up. It struggled to get up, eventually managing to do so.
    It then held its hands out wide towards the Infernape, like it was asking for a hug. Then it began singing.
    I wasn't worried - I had anticipated this before coming to Meteor Valley. I was wearing earpieces that filtered out the sleep-inducing frequency. But Sec and Infernape didn't have those earpieces.
    “Cleeeee Faireeeeeeey” the moon fairy began to chant as she threw her arms out to the sides as if she were about embrace Infernape.
    Sec could instantly tell what was about to happen; the Clefairy was trying to lull them to sleep. Sec had assumed that the Clefairy would open the battle in this way and had been wrong, this time he knew that it was for real. Chainy had brought ear plugs along and Ralts was already asleep so they two were completely unaffected; however, Sec and Infernape were still very much at risk to the drowsy song.
    Sec quickly threw his hands up to his ears and pressed hard against the sides of his head so that he could try to block out the song, next he would need to find a way to save Infernape from the deathly lullaby.
    “Infernape, use Substitute!” Sec shouted out, hoping that he would make it in time.
    Infernape slowly disappeared, vanishing into thin air. All’s that was left in its place was a creature which looked like doll that had a similar likeness to Sec’s pyrotechnic ape. The doll glanced around the room and shrugged off the singing as if it were no big deal.
    “Good,” Sec muttered as he watched Infernape’s substitute form. “Now, let’s finish this battle! Summon Stealth Rocks around the Clefairy and then Fire Spin the entire area around it!”
    Infernape’s clone raised its arms into the sky and chanted something slowly under its breathe. Suddenly, without any warning, several glowing floating stones appeared in the air surrounding the Clefairy. Infernape then bellowed a strong roar and flung its hands in the air towards Clefairy, a menacing look sat upon the ape’s face.
    As if by magic, a tornado which seemed to be made of flames that cackled and flickered against the shadows of the cave walls, rose up from the ground and engulfed the Clefairy. As the inferno engulfed the Clefairy, it also swept up the Stealth Rocks and sent them hurtling around and around the blazing winds, adding razor sharp rocks to the power of the blazing flames. With luck, the rock filled inferno would burn and stab Clefairy to the point that Sec and Chainy would finally move on.
    ~~~~~

    "Infernape, use Substitute!" Sec called.

    The fire monkey phased out of sight, and with a popping sound and an explosion of white smoke, Infernape's Substitute appeared. It looked like a low-quality, low-definition, chibi version of the real Infernape.

    The Clefairy frowned, and stopped singing. It then began chanting a different song.

    But before this song could take effect, Sec ordered what he hoped to be his last attack combo. The Infernape Substitute used Stealth Rock, and part of the cavern floor rose up, hovering around the Clefairy. Then, the Substitute breathed fire around the stones. The burning pointy rock gashed Clefairy, cutting it and hurting it.

    But the Clefairy wasn't finished yet. And its' next move was impressive, so much so that I wanted to catch it.

    The Clefairy finished its' chant, even as the fire burnt and the rocks gouged. A tiny little rock fell from the ceiling, allowing the moonlight to refresh it. The little fairy Pokemon was heavily connected to the moon, and since it was night time the healing power was maximised.

    Once it was healed, it then turned to the Infernape Substitute. It clapped and applauded. It was hard to see on the sub, but it almost looked like it was blushing. It had fallen for the Encore. Now Infernape was locked into using Fire Spin!

    “It…healed?” Sec muttered disappointedly.

    Sec had figured that the battle would have been over with that attack and was quite upset that the battle had to continue. This was beginning to be too much work for a Pokemon that Sec wasn’t even planning on capturing.

    “Hey Chainy, you rangers carry emergency supplies with you that I can purchase, right?” Sec asked eagerly. “Do you think I could get a few Pokedolls for situations like this? This is just too much and we’re getting hit too hard just to get away from this thing.”

    Sec pulled three thousand Pokedollars from his pocket and handed them to Chainy to purchase four Pokedolls. It would only take one to get rid of Clefairy; however, Sec figured that a few would be nice to have in case of another situation such as this one. Sec put three of the dolls away in his bag and kept the last remaining one held in the hand not occupied by Ralts, who was beginning to stir.

    “Infernape, no more attacking, come on back!” Sec called to Infernape who was preparing to Fire Spin the Clefairy again.

    Infernape quickly abandoned the plan and toddled back to Sec and awaited further commands; however, there would be none in this battle. Sec tossed the Pokedoll towards Clefairy. The doll rolled across the ground and came to a stop right in front of the angry fairy. Suddenly the Clefairy was no longer interested in the group and was completely focused on the doll which looked just like itself. The enemy was completely infatuated with the Clefairy-shaped decoy.

    Now that Clefairy was no longer a problem, Sec pulled the torch back out again from the bracket it had originally sat in and began walking towards the next corridor of the caves. Sec’s torch and Infernape led the way, Ralts’ eyes began to gently open as they walked away from the battle, and Chainy followed closely behind the party’s light.

    OOC: xD, nice.

    ~~~~~
    "It healed?" Sec sounded slightly astonished, but also faintly annoyed. He then turned to me.
    “Hey Chainy, you Rangers carry emergency supplies with you that I can purchase, right?” Sec asked. “Do you think I could get a few PokeDolls for situations like this? This is just too much and we’re getting hit too hard just to get away from this thing.”
    I nodded. It was a wise choice: and Sec's reluctance to hurt the Clefairy for no good reason spoke volumes about his character.
    I dropped my bag to the ground and pulled out four PokeDolls. That was my entire emergency supply - if Sec used them all, he wouldn't be able to buy any more.
    He handed me a huge wad of cash and threw one of the PokeDolls over to the Clefairy. The Clefairy immediately stopped squinting at Infernape. It toddled over to the Clefairy-shaped toy, and it squealed in joy.
    “Infernape, no more attacking, come on back!” Sec called as he finished stowing away the remaining PokeDolls.
    The Infernape Substitute made a popping sound and disappeared in a puff of white smoke, and the real Infernape reappeared. He walked back over to Sec, its mane glowing bright again.
    As we left the little town, I turned back and saw the Clefairy happily showing off its new possession to its friends, who had emerged from hiding.
    The thoughts of possessions reminded me of something.
    "Here," I said to Sec, handing him two thousand dollars back. "You gave me a bit too much."
    As Sec reached out, though, the Ralts quickly grabbed the notes and held them in its stubby little arms, chirruping naughtily.
    “Hey, those are mine!” Sec chuckled as he gently took back the money from the Ralts.
    The little creature glared at Sec, as if it were upset that he had taken the bills from it. It let off a soft whimper that could have broken even the hardest of hearts. Sec felt bad and decided to share with the mushroom-headed creature.
    “Here, we’ll share,” Sec said as he handed half of the money back to the Ralts.
    The Pokemon gleamed at Sec and tucked the money in close to its body, snuggling the valuable bits of paper. Meanwhile, the group had been advancing down the next corridor of the caves which seemed to be getting darker and darker as they advanced. Sec heard a deep huffing voice behind the group which startled him.
    “Who’s there?!” Sec shouted as he turned quickly to see what was following the group.
    Sec had expected to see a Pokemon stalking them; however, it was just his Infernape who looked sickly, weak, and tired from the damage it had received last battle. He was having a hard time keeping up and had fallen behind.
    “Poor thing,” Sec said as he rubbed his Infernape’s warm shoulder, “Go ahead and Slack Off buddy, we’ll rest here for a minute.”
    Sec dug a small hole in the ground which he propped the grip of his torch inside, dropped his bag off of his shoulder onto the ground and sat down, leaning against the wall of the cave. Infernape laid down where it was and sprawled out on the floor to rest, it was completely lazed out and oblivious to its eerie surroundings now.
    Sec looked down at the little creature which still sat crooked in his right arm. The Ralts was about to drift off to sleep again; Sec figured it must have felt at piece with him. However, Sec’s arm was starting to feel very sore from holding the tyke for so long. He couldn’t make him walk, that wouldn’t be very considerate considering the Pokemon was still injured, but Sec wouldn’t be able to carry him much longer.
    “Hey little guy, what do you say you rest in here?” Sec asked Rlats as he pulled Park Ball from his bag. “My arms are getting tired and you’ll be much more cozy in here!”
    Sec popped the ball open and held it in front of Ralts, hoping that the little psi Pokemon would touch the ball and lock itself inside.
    OOC: I decided to put it in a ball, I was getting all anxietyish about just walking around with it and not having it officially captured XDDDD
    OOC: xDDDDD I wondered how long it would take :p
    ~~~~~

    Infernape was feeling tired and hurt after the battle, so Sec decided to take a break. I didn't blame Infernape: it got hammered by one of the strongest Water-type moves in existence. It slumped to the ground and panted openly, leaning backwards on its hands like a schoolkid during recess.

    Sec dug a hole and put the torch into it so we'd have some light. I didn't say anything, but I was starting to get anxious and a tiny bit claustrophobic after being underground so long, and the little light provided a surprising amount of comfort.

    We all sat down and took a rest. We'd been constantly moving since the battle with the Baltoy, and it felt good to just waste time for a little bit. I noticed that Infernape wasn't panting as hard any more. It seemed to be getting some health and energy back from resting.

    Sec pulled a Park Ball out from his bag and placed it on the ground in front of the Ralts.

    “Hey little guy, what do you say you rest in here?” Sec asked. “My arms are getting tired and you’ll be much more cozy in here.”

    The Ralts took a step forward, looking curious. Before it could get any closer, however, Dual released himself from my Poke Ball. He stepped inbetween the Ralts and the Park Ball, forming an insurmountable barrier.

    I didn't say or do anything, because I wasn't worried. Dual just wanted to make sure that going with Sec was the right choice. Dual took a long look at the Ralts, and I knew the two were communicating psychically. Well, kind of. Ralts weren't very good at communication through thoughts: the best they could manage was a kind of empathic link where they could share emotions and feelings as opposed to actual thoughts.

    Apparently satisified, Dual then took a long look at Sec. He bent over so he was maybe ten centimetres from Sec's face, and he looked intently into Sec's eyes.

    After a slightly tense half-minute, Dual nodded, and ruffled the Ralts' helmet before returning himself to his Poke Ball.

    The Ralts then chirruped and walked forward to touch the Ball. when it did so, it was sucked inside by a flash of red light. Unlike normally, the Ball didn't shake. It immediately clicked and the button glowed red.

    Sec grabbed the red and white ball off of the ground and tossed it to Chainy who had been watching intently. Chainy managed to catch the Park Ball with one hnd as he used the other to put Dual’s Pokeball back away.

    “I figured you’ll probably want to hang on to that one too, right?” Sec asked, making a reference to he captured Baltoy which was currently in Chainy’s possession as well.

    Sec stood up and stretched. Extending his muscles in every which way to loosen them up and get ready to continue on their journey throughout the caves. Sec walked over to Infernape and crouched down next to the sleeping fire ape. He tapped the monkey on the shoulder to gently wake it up.

    “Wake up sleepy, time to get moving.”

    The groggy Infernape stood up and slowly shook itself awake as it prepared to finish its journey with Sec and Chainy. The Infernape walked over to the torch that had been stuck into the ground and yanked it up, tossing it gently to Sec.

    The eager trainer caught the torch and held it up to observe the rest of the corridor that they were currently in. Sec could see nothing; however, he was sure that smething had to lie deep within the depths of the cave and because of this he suggested that the team continue to search in this direction.

    I smiled as Sec referenced his earlier Baltoy capture. He also didn't seem unhappy about handing the Ralts over to me, which was good.

    Sec woke up his Infernape and we continued down the tunnel.

    As we walked, I thought I could sense a faint blue light, but whenever I concentrated, I couldn't see anything. I felt that something was nearby and watching us, but I had no idea what.

    Just as I was thinking that, a slight breeze ruffled my hair. It took me all of two seconds to realise that that meant there was an exit nearby. I ran forward, overtaking Sec and Infernape, and sure enough there was an exit right in front of us. The dawn light was shining brightly into the cave.

    However, there was a small floating speck in the middle of the light. It grew bigger as the shadow's owner moved closer, and I soon realised it was an Unown.

    “An Unown?” Sec said as he watched the floating shape approach the party.

    The ‘S’ shaped floating Pokemon slowly hovered towards the group, its black body seemed like a gaping barrier in front of the nearby exit. Sec stared in awe as the floating collaboration of swirling lines which formed one letter of the alphabet approached the team.

    “So odd… And so fascinating!” Sec exclaimed as he observed the new Pokemon.

    Sec contemplated over the Pokemon for several minutes. Did he want the Unown, or didn’t he? It was a tough decision, but all in all Sec decided that the trip had been made to capture powerful psychic-types for an oncoming gym battle and that, as amazing as the Unown was, it just was not going to make the cut.

    “Let’s move on, I like the Unown but it’s just not what I’m here for. Maybe I can make a trip back for one later! Plus, I just can’t wait to get out of this cave and breathe in that fresh air! That breeze feels fantastic!” Sec exclaimed to Chainy as he took off in a sprint for the door.

    Infernape followed closely behind Sec, and he assumed that Chainy was following as well. Sec had run right around the Unown and was making a beeline for the door. He hoped that the Unown would be docile and leave the group alone; however, if it turned out to be hostile and blocked the party’s escape from the cave, Sec had a Clefairy-shaped doll in his right hand, ready to toss back at the floating wonder.
