"Go golem lemma Gol. Pfft," A'splode muttered to his trainer in PokeLanguage. I could not understand what she was saying, and so couldn't Dermodio. Then, he took out a device from his bag. It looked at lot like a Pokemon Translator - those were very rare, and usually expensive, gadgets.

The wild creature was repeating its name over and over in a sing-song tune. I listened to the Translator as its squeaky voice sang a Happy Birthday tune. I figured the Seaking was dazed, and quite crazy now. Then, Dermodio directed the device over to his Golem.

"i rather be KO'd than this torture. Pfft." was what A'splode had said, apparently. I watched with slight nervousness as my trainer looked up with another grin. Again, it was not the happy grin - though I think he is happy; nor was it the sad grin. Was it the naughty grin once more? Well, no, not really - sort of, maybe. Then, I realized it was a... a... an... an evil smile!

"Really?" he asked his Pokemon with a slight disbelieving tone in his voice. Yeah, the Golem said in a slightly bored tone. Well, that was definitely unpredictable.

Suddenly and shockingly, Dermodio ran over to a far side of the river. He jumped into the reeds as his hands and arms shot up to cover his head, particularly his ears.

"EXPLOSION! DUCK FOR COVER!" Dermodio shouted, causing me to jump in fear. A'splode screamed something in reply, which I heard as, "What?!" In return, the trainer ordered, "NOW!" After this is all over, it won't be Pondy biting you, you head breaking... the Golem warned, but followed his command anyway. "... Lema Gole. Golemagole." I figured the battery on the translator must have died.

"Wait!" I shouted, releasing my Staraptor and flying up to hide from the Explosion. "Okay, now you may attack!" I called back down before covering my ears as Nia flew quite high up.

The view from above was amazing, A'splode could clearly be seen closing her eyes and concentrating. A bright white glowing aura surrounded her. Her eyes opened, showing an amber-like color from up here. I could hear her loud roars of pain as she spun and spun... The energy that enveloped her dissipated into thin air as she suddenly exploded into bits, literally.

I saw the chunks fly around, most of them make big impacts on the river, grass, and most especially, the Seaking. The Goldfish Pokemon's yelp and cry of hurt and gripe echoed throughout The Great Lakes. I winced, thinking how much agony and torture they must be feeling due to the explosion.

I saw a crater form on the ground A'splode had been standing on. I forced myself to watch the bits and pieces of the Golem's body roll back to her caused by an unseen force of nature. They formed into the Golem, but it was left lying there - unconscious.

The Seaking, on the other hand was still alive. I could not believe my eyes, I thought such a powerful attack like Explosion would have killed it off already. But, no, this was not so. And I pitied my trainer even more... Fortunately, it looked as though the creature was just barely hanging on its life. It could actually faint any moment now...

"Take me down, please, Nia," I told my Staraptor, who obliged immediately. I could see a look of sorrow on Dermodio's face, no doubt about it. Everything was understandable, no need for questions, whatsoever. "Return..." I said, slowly and calmly, recalling my flying type to her Pokeball.

I heard a faint growl behind me, I turned swiftly, looking to see the Seaking tired and worn out. It looked very dazed and confused, I guessed it probably was. It, then, tried to use Horn Attack once more. It jumped up, I wondered who it was aiming at. Then, I watched it look dizzy, spinning around and suddenly facing the ground.

I gasped as its horn stopped spinning right before the creature rammed into the grassy area. It was so confused that it hurt itself. And that was the end of that. "You're one lucky chap, Dermodio," I mumbled under my breath, but still loud and audible enough for the teen to hear. I carefully picked up the unconscious fishy lump, placing it carefully back into the river. Luckily, it did not sink, but instead floated onwards, allowing the river's current to push it on its way.

I led Dermodio away, walking upstream of the river. We stopped after a few moments, hearing a faint rustling in the bushes. "Wanna go check that out, or continue upstream?"

"Poke." Dermodio said, poking A'splode. A'splode had no energy to battle, but could still weakly do stuff. She bit Dermodio's leg.

It is mot plesent to be bitten by a rock monster. Dermodio's shriek showed his inconvienience to the bite. He returned A'splode, and rubbed his leg. "Ahm...maybe continue upstream." he said, limping. He nearly tripped into the crater that A'splode had left. "Er..." he said, trying to even out the giant pit by kicking some dirt in.

Dermodio was poking A'splode as of the moment. She had little energy left, thus had fainted unconscious for a few minutes earlier. But now, she was fine - though still would be unable to battle for the rest of the time being until she takes a very good long rest, or gets some "medical attention".

I winced as my eyes caught sight of the weak Golem biting the leg of her trainer. It seemed his Pokemon did not exactly love him as a trainer - or perhaps, and I do hope so, they were just playing around, and this was there way of interacting.

Poor Dermodio - Pondy had bitten him on his nose during a battle when he had been confused; A'splode had just recently bitten his leg. Now, he had a sore, red nose, and was limping his way around the Great Lakes. Fortunately, though, he was able to keep his balance as we traveled near the riverbank.

"Ahm...maybe continue upstream." was his answer when I asked him about the mysterious rustling in the bushes nearby. Dermodio had just returned his Pokemon to her ball as he began rubbing his leg.

I nodded, leading him further against the current of the river's water. I walked slowly so he could follow quite well, though I could clearly see he was in great pain - limping forwards.

"Oh, watch out---" I warned as he, unwillingly, lost his balance. And - Dermodio tripped into the nearby crater A'splode had created when she had use Explosion. Luckily, he was able to regain his balance quickly, thus not falling face-first into the dirty soil. He kicked some dirt in, trying to even out the giant pit.

"Oh, no need for that," I told him, releasing my Swampert. "Kipper, use Mud Bomb continuously. Then finish covering it up with Mud Shot." As Kipper got to work covering up the hole, my ears picked up the sound of rustling once more.

I swiftly turned around, and - as if on cue - small creature stepped out. It had a blue-colored body, with a yellow bill-like mouth. There were six small blue legs carrying the small of its body as it walked, in a little wobbly manner, towards us. The creature appeared to have a lilypad on its back.

"So, any interest in battling the Water Weed Pokemon?" I asked Dermodio, gesturing over to his most recent - and current - encounter.

As the Lotad creeped out of the lake, Dermodio had an odd reaction. "AUGH! ZOMBIES! NO! I LIKE MY BRAINS! DON'T EAT THEM! EEEEE! Wait- It's a Lotad. Catchy time! But hrm... it evolves into Ludicolo. But it's got a cool type... hrm... Pondy, whats your opinion." FOOD. MUST EAT. HUNGRY. I WANT SANDMWICHES. the look on the famished Poliwag's face said. "That's good enough for me! Go, and be careful of it's grass attacks!"

I jumped and shrieked surprised as Dermodio suddenly shouted, "AUGH! ZOMBIES! NO! I LIKE MY BRAINS! DON'T EAT THEM! EEEEE!" My head had begun to spin before he continued when he actually noticed it was just a Lotad. "Pondy, what's your opinion?" he asked his Poliwag, which he just so-happened to release from his ball.

The water type growled, with a very famished look on his face. I tried my best to read it, though I do believe my interpretation is wrong. I mean, how could a Pokemon's face possibly read something like, "Must eat food. I am hungry." - and in all capital letters, at that.

"That's good enough for me! Go, and be careful of it's grass attacks!" Dermodio commanded. See, I reasoned, how could being hungry have anything to do with battling the Lotad? My Pokemon Expression and Face reading "skills" were wrong this time.

I looked on, this was sure to be yet another interesting and quirky battle - the trainer and his Pokemon were certainly an unpredictable and eccentric team. The wild Pokemon, sensing a battle, growled fiercely.

The lily pad on its back began to glow a plant-like green, the perfect sign of health, and soon sharp leaves, in the color of green as well, started to shoot out. They were not exactly leaves, they were crescent-shaped like the moon, and were sharply cut all around like razors.

"Watch out!" I warned Dermodio as the razor leaves rapidly headed straight for Pondy. They could hit dead on any minute now, coming closer and closer...
