OCC: Hey, if you have anything you want to ask about just ask me via PM or VM. Just remember it's 500 characters a minimum post. Also, do you want me to mention you like this? @BlazeMaster

"Alex get your butt of the sofa and do something productive, you've been sitting around all day doing nothing, no work. When was the last time you sat down in your office and worked?" Cameron asked.

    Silence quickly filled the room.

"I thought so. Take this run, make sure you look after this trainer. It's his first time through the park so don't go wondering off down another cave which could cause some harm to the trainer." Cameron said and handed Alex a pile of papers. Alex held onto the papers and looked up at Cameron and said, "Yes Sir, whatever you say Sir. You're the best, Sir,"

Cameron sighed and walked away, leaving Alex alone in the room. Alex walked towards the front desk and handed the receptionist the pile of papers and said, "Can you send this information to my PDA. Technology is the way forward." The intern grabbed the bunch of papers and scanned them with a machine. Alex walked off towards the back lot, awaiting his trainer by a fence. He looked up into the sky and smiled. The sun was out and it was perfect weather for going to Mt. Oktori. Alex held in his hands a pair of keys and started to swivel them around his fingers, waiting for his trainer.

Finally! Joe thought as he stuffed clothes and items into his bag. He'd been holed up here for a week and finally there was a vacancy. He zipped up his sack and ran out of the door. From a window Chimchar leapt onto the street below and we ran together. The invoice had said that they were meeting at 10.00, and he had three minutes. He stretched his lanky legs out and felt the breeze cool his face as he kept on going.

He hadn't stayed inactive at the Outpost. The runs he had been going on had paid off as he slowed to a jog, approaching the address that he'd been given. Standing by the fence was a trainer, dressed in practical clothes, rucksack on his back.

"Hi, I'm Joe, I guess that you're the Ranger taking me out on this expedition," I greeted him, halting in front of him.

"Me, no, I'm just hanging around here. Alex is waiting round the back, that's who you're looking for," He replied. Embarassed, I strode around to the back of the house. Leaning on a fence stood a ranger, a set of keys in his hands.

"Hi, I'm Joe," I said, not assuming anything this time.
"I'm Alex, your ranger today. We're going to Mt. Oktori right?" He asked.
    "Right"
"Okay then, let's go," He said, heading off towards the stark peak of the mountain ahead.

    OCC: Good Post.

    Ranger Alex Fisher

Alex watched as a young trainer approached him. Alex was sure that this was his trainer but he didn't want to take the wrong trainer, then Cameron would surely kill him. Alex leaned forward and waited till the trainer approached him. The trainer arrived and outstretched his hand saying, "Hi, I'm Joe."

Alex shook Joe's hand firmly and replied, "I'm Alex, I am going to be your ranger for this trip to Mt. Oktori." Joe nodded in confirmation and followed Alex into the Jeep, which had been parked there since Alex was waiting for Joe. Alex climbed into the Park Jeep and speed off down the trail, following signs towards Mt. Oktori. The road was peaceful and the weather was beautiful. Since Mt. Oktori was in the South East of the island, walking there was no plausible. The other way of travelling there was taking the teleporter pads, however after the little accident with a young women, they stopped using them. Alex wasn't around when the event happened, however the stories he was told was pretty horrible.

The Jeep speed down the track, passing through the Great Lakes. Alex popped his head out of the window and watched a school of Remoraid swim across the Lakes' surface. In his spare time, Alex would walk to the Great Lakes and sit in one of the waiting posts and relax, looking out over the lake. Alex turned to Joe and asked, "So Joe, what sort of Pokemon are you looking for in Mt. Oktori?"

Later on, the group arrived at Ranger Outpost 7#, the outpost in Mt. Oktori. As they started exit the Jeep, a small Machop was sitting on a rock in the distance. As soon as the door of the Jeep slammed shut, the Machop snapped his neck towards Joe and Alex and stood up. Machop weren't the sort of territorial Pokemon and it was rare that a Machop would stand its ground. Alex dropped his bag and walked up to the Machop. However as soon as Alex took two paces forward, the Machop thrusted his small grey fist into his abdominal. Alex clenched his stomach and stuttered to Joe, "Do you want to battle this Machop?"

I leapt out of the jeep, Chimchar coming behind me. Alex stumbled back at the thrust from the powerful Pokemon. It looked fierce, but higher up the mountain there might be bigger fish to fry. But the Machop was looking ready to fight and, with the Jeep so close to hand, he didn't want it to be damaged. Alex looked up at him, ready to enter the Jeep. Above me the slopes of Mt Oktori towered, inviting me to challenge them. But I had to take this opportunity
"Chimchar use Acrobatics!" I shouted. My Pokemon leapt foward, twirling in the air in preparation for the attack. Acrobatics was a super effective attack against the Fighting type Machop. The Superpower Pokemon leapt foward, preparing an attack. I looked as the two Pokemon ran forward, about to in midair, what would happen?

    "Chimchar use Acrobatics!" Joe shouted.

Chimchar nodded and stared into the eyes of Machop. Then Chimchar looked to his left and noticed a large rock, in which he could take off from. Chimchar turned to his left and ran towards the rock. He planted his right foot on the rock and took off into the air. As Chimchar was in mid-air, he tucked his legs tight into his body and simply fell towards the Machop. Alex had never seen this version of Acrobatics before and it was always pleasant to see a new version. Chimchar collided into the Machop, sending the Fighting Pokemon crashing into the floor. Machop stared back at the Fire Pokemon and then clicked its knuckles, preparing for his next attack. Then Machop raised both of its hands and started to punch the rock beneath his feet. Small pieces of rock flew off, directed towards Chimchar. Machop was using Rock Smash, a Fighting move. Normally Rock Smash was seen getting rid of an obstacle, and rarely used as a move itself. It looks like Alex was going to be proven wrong many times on this run.

The rocks flew through the air and crashed against Chimchar. The Fire Monkey looked towards Joe for some more orders, as it was eager to show off his power in front of Machop

Ok, I thought, I'm going to have to think about this one. Machop's quite heavily damaged right now, another Acrobatics might be risky. But Chimchar's looking quite tired so it might be best to get on with the battle. The rock wall behind Machop was high and jagged, so he probably couldn't escape. I looked at the Machop. The Pokemon was panting, probably thinking about which move to use itself. It would be Mine. He looked at Alex, hoping for some advice. The black gravelly slopes were still, empty, waiting for my move.
"Make your mind up," he said, almost reading My thoughts. "There are plenty of other places we need to go today," I thought for a little while longer.
"OK Chimchar, I think that a Flame Wheel is in order, try to burn it to make the job easier,"
Chimchar rolled itself up into a ball and rolled, creating a brilliant disc of Flame. It travelled along the high rock wall and launched itself towards Machop. Suddenly I realised that this was the first time that Chimchar had used that move in battle, quite fitting for my first capture. Flame Wheel could quite often burn its opponenets which made catching them easier, but could have undesired effects if trying to whittle down a Pokemon's HP. I watched in anticipation, hoping that the attack would land.
Machop stared at its opponent, ready to react as it desired. I looked at it, it must feel so free, being able to command itself. But I had to capture it. I could give it a new life.
What would happen? Would Machop use Rock Smash or something more powerful?

OCC: Next time, try and refrain from controlling my character, it's classed as Bunnying. Also you can describe the turn I have just posted in your own words to gain CC. So you can summarize this post now and gain some CC. Last point, try to paragraph like you did in post 2, mainly because it looks better and also it is easier for me to read. However apart from all of that, you are doing good. Hope you capture the Machop.

"OK Chimchar, I think that a Flame Wheel is in order, try to burn it to make the job easier," Joe shouted. Alex started to wonder if you could order a Pokemon to purposely burn using an attack like Flame Wheel or Flamethrower. There were only one move that sprung to mind that inflicts burn straight away and that was Will-O-Wisp. Alex wondered if Chimchar would focus on trying to burn its opponent, which means reducing his power. Or giving it as much as he can and decrease the chance of burn happening.

Chimchar acknowledge the command and started to tuck its small frame into a ball. His small hands wrapped around his orange legs. Then Chimchar cried out loud, igniting himself with fire. Alex had always wondered what it would be like, being a fire Pokemon and being on fire. Would it feel different or common? Chimchar cried out loud for a second time and threw his cocooned body towards Machop. As he was in the air, he started to rotate in a circle, resembling a tire or wheel of a car driving down the road. Chimchar raced across the dirt terrain and smashed into Machop. The contact sent the Machop flying back, crashing into a rock. Dust slowly rose from the crash site of Machop and the small Superpower Pokemon stood back on its feet. Unfortunately for Joe, Machop was not burned.

Machop looked into the eyes of Chimchar and started to duplicate itself into five clones. It was clear that Machop was using Double Team, a move which creates clones of the user in order to confuse and avoid incoming attacks. Then each Machop leaped into the air and dove into the ground, disappearing from sight. Five holes stood before Chimchar, with each hole connecting to another one. Chimchar and Joe had to figure out which Machop was the real one before it is too late.

    Re: Individual RP: BlazeMaster

Machop remained unburnt, annoyingly. Maybe my comment had activated Chance's special ability Sod's Law that nothing that you ever wanted to happen ever occurred. I watched in horror as Machop split in five. How could Chimchar hit her now. My dismay turned to despair as the SuperPower Pokemon burrowed into the ground.Chimchar rolled to a halt and gazed blankly at each hole in as much confusion as I had.

What could I do? Chimchar couldn't dive down the hole without risking being attacked and he couldn't know where she was going to come out. What was worse, Dig was a Ground type move. Chimchar's advantage could be turned upside down in a momment. There was always Slack Off, but not yet.

I crouched down, putting my ear to the gravelly ground, hoping for something. Unsurprisingly I could hear nothing, any movements would be far too subtle for me. Suddenly I had an idea, all of the holes connected to the same hole.
"Chimchar, Breathe a Flamethrower down the hole!" I shouted this time without a comment, in fear of activating Sod's Law. The jet of flame should hit whichever hole Machop delved into because they were all connected. Chimchar gave a cry and prepared the attack in his mouth. Flame boiled in his belly and shot out of his mouth. The plume of fire went for the hole furthest to the left. I watched, waiting for a result.

OCC: Nothing to say good post. Let’s build on it, try and describe the previous round in more detail. The more you write, the easier it will be to capture other Pokemon. If you were to battle an Uncommon Pokemon, you would need to write 9k, about averaging 2.5k or 2k. Apart from that, its good.

    BP 3

"Chimchar, Breathe a Flamethrower down the hole!" Joe shouted. Overall it was a good idea since the tunnel networks were connected and hopefully the flames would fish out Machop.

Chimchar quickly raced towards one of the hole and placed his body over the hole looking down. Then the small fire monkey opened his small jaw and fired a powerful jet of fire down the makeshift hole. The flames surged through the tunnel system and erupted out of each hole created by the Machop and his clones. As the flames reached the surface, a small Pokemon flew out and landed on the floor. It was Machop and it looked like this was the original one. Alex sighed in relief; fighting five of the same Pokemon was a pain, especially when one of them is a Machop.

Machop looked towards Chimchar and smiled. Then the small SuperPower Pokemon ran towards Chimchar, raising his right hand. As he was running the raised hand started to glow in a bright white colour. As soon as Machop was within touching distance, the fighting Pokemon lowered his hand onto Chimchar, sending the Fire Monkey crashing into some boulders.

Alex turned to Joe and said, “Joe, it looks like Machop is getting weak, maybe one more attack and then you should be able to capture it.” Although Alex wanted to stay out of the battle, he had to mention something to Joe because it looked like he was going to carry on and completely knock out the Machop.

    Re: Individual RP: BlazeMaster

Machop flew out of the hole, he flew through the air, twisting and tumbling to the ground. Flames flew out the holes, illuminating Mt. Oktori.
Yes! I thought. We've got him! As the flames died Machop landed on his feet, unsurprisingly. He looked tired he was breathing heavily. Chimchar stared at his opponent a grin on his face. Suddenly Machop started to smile right back at the Fire Monkey Pokemon. What was happenning. He ran in leaps and bounds towards Chimchar and chopped down with a glowing fist.

Chimchar flew into the boulders, a look of suprise on his face. I heard Alex say something about capturing it. He was right, Machop looked weak. There was no point in a Slack Off attack, but an Acrobatics or a Flamethrower would be far too powerful. I thought for a moment. I needed a weak move, but not so weak that it did basically nothing. Chimchar leapt out from the boulers, looking alright after the strong attack.

I had no idea what Machop would do. As far as I could remember he had no healing moves in his arsenal, so there was no worry from that. I was most worried about Machop sending out a powerful attack. Then I remembered Flame Wheel. As long as it didn't hit a weak spot it shouldn't knock out Machop.

"Chimchar, use Flame Wheel!" I ordered. Chimchar prepared himself for the attack, gathering a ball of fire in his mouth. Then he somersaulted in the air, curling the fire round into a burning hot disc of flame. Chimchar rolled towards Machop.

The SuperPower Pokemon was panting heavily, its body damaged by the attacks wreaked on it. It smiled, this time an ironic grin. Maybe it too had accepted the inevitablilty of capture. I hoped against hope that Chimchar would not knock out its counterpart.

    I would keep trying

OCC: Good Post, don’t see anything wrong.

"Chimchar, use Flame Wheel!" Joe ordered.

Alex had hoped Joe knew what he was doing. If Chimchar had put a lot of dedication and power into the move, maybe this battle could be over really soon and Joe wouldn’t be able to claim Machop as his own.

Chimchar nodded in agreement to his trainer’s orders and started to tuck his small pale-orange legs into his pale body. Chimchar was now tucked into a small ball, ready to charge towards the SuperPower Pokemon. The small fire Pokemon started to roll towards Machop, gaining momentum as it went along. As he got faster, Chimchar suddenly set himself of fire; creating a flame ball rolling towards Machop.

Machop, having already witness this attack during the battle, held his hand into the air. As soon as Chimchar was close enough, he slammed his hand into the ground, splitting the ground up. As Chimchar rolled across the uneven ground, he lost momentum and power. Despite the loss of momentum and power, Chimchar still managed to collide with Machop, sending both Pokemon crashing into a nearby tree. Chimchar quickly got back onto his feet and awaited further commands from his trainer; however Machop still stayed at the bottom of the tree, finding it hard to get back up.

Alex turned to Joe and said, “Joe, I think it’s time you capture this Pokemon,”

Chimchar rolled into Machop, flinching at the power of the SuperPower Pokemons's Brick Break. Both Pokemon crashed into the tree. Chimchar leapt back towards me, looking quite tired by now. Machop struggled to his feet, shuddering, exhausted from the long battle.

Now was my chance. Now I could catch Machop. I felt around in my pocket, gripping the figure of a Park Ball. I pulled the yellow sphere out, brandishing it to the world. Machop flinched at the sight of it, aware of the consequences of what I was about to do.

Satisfied, I pressed a button on the Poke Ball, preparing it for capture. Machop stared, the grey Pokemon's eyes glazing over as I aimed it, judging the throw.
"Go Poke Ball!" I shouted, lobbing the capsule towards my opponent. As it danced in the air I prayed, hoping for a capture.

    "Go Poke Ball!" Joe shouted.

Joe held out a small green camouflaged capsule in his hand. Joe, hesitant at first, threw the capsule towards Machop. The ball glided through the air, bouncing off the head of Machop. The Machop suddenly disappeared into the ball and landed onto the ground. The ball rolled around on the floor. Alex turned around and noticed Joe looking anxiously at the rolling capsule. Then the ball clicked shut. A sigh of relief was heard from Joe. Alex walked towards the ball and picked it up, placing it in his bag.

”It is the Park Rules that the Ranger must look after captured Pokemon until we reach the end of the run.” Alex lifted his bag onto his back and turned to face Joe. He said to his trainer, “So ready to contine?”

    Re: Individual RP: BlazeMaster

I watch the rolling green sphere as it rolls back and forth, back and forth...

BLEEP...BLEEP...BLEEP...PING! The Machop was caught! I realised that I had been holding my breath and let out a deep sigh. Alex strode forward and picked up the ball. To my dismay he placed it straight in his bag without letting me take it. However he explained to me about the rules. I realised that there was nothing to do about it. I could wait. The Sun was getting higher in the deep cloudless sky and the scent of the fresh grass that still grew at this point in the mountain filled my nose. I imagined Machop inside its Poke Ball, struggling, exhausted, and, hopefully, finally relaxing. There was much more to do today. We must keep on going. I turned round to Alex, seeking the ranger's advice.
    "So, what next?"

"So, what next?" Joe said, seeking some advice.

Alex turned to Joe and said, “Well, I think we should head up this path and head towards the summit of the mountain. It’s mostly where the rarer and more powerful Pokemon are found.”

Alex lead Joe up a small dirt trail, with two towering cliffs located either side of the path. Alex looked around and started to wonder how these mountains were created. The National Park held many mysteries, many which are unsolved to the day. However it is questions like how were the cliffs and the trails formed in Mt. Oktori? Or how were the caves created in the Meteor Valley? In his free time Alex would often search up diaries of explorers, who ventured into the furthest parts of each location. Alex shook his head and returned to reality. He had noticed that there was a pile of boulders up ahead, which were probably the remains of a landslide from one of these cliffs.

Alex indicated with his hand that Joe should get down on his knees because he noticed some very special in the distance. It was a small brown Pokemon, trying to push some boulders away, hoping to get to the other side. Alex slowly rose up and walked carefully towards the Pokemon, trying not to scare it. Once Alex was a couple of metres away, he suddenly realized what Pokemon it was.

He turned around and quietly said to Joe, “Look it’s a Swinub, do you want to capture it?”

Alex noticed the figure before I did. He looked at the small, brown, furry blob as it hurled itself at the boulders. I wasn't sure why the creature was doing it but I liked its determination and it looked strong.
I watched as Alex got up and walked towards the Pokemon, lowering himself to a crouch. He kept on approaching the small creature, feet treading carefully on the crunching gravel of Mt. Oktori. Above us the sides of the mountain came up steeply, leaving only a small patch of cloudless sky.
    Alex paused and looked up.

"Look, it's a Swinub, do you want to capture it?" He asked. I thought for a moment. I loved the Swinub family and they would make a great addition to my team, but after the battle with Machop Chimchar would be tired and Seedot would be unfeasable against an Ice type. However they were strong Pokemon and Chimchar would have the advantage. The cliffs stared down at me, their gaze, formed by years of erosion, bearing down on me. The sky seemed to be staring down at me, waiting for my decision. I slowly walked forward, the gravel crunched underneath my feet, the cold mountain air creeping up my arm.

"OK, I'm going to go for this one," I announced to Alex. I pulled out the Poke Ball containing Chimchar.
"Alright, Chimchar, we're going to have to start easy on this one, start off with a Fire spin attack!" Chimchar gathered flames in his mouth and shot them towards the Swinub in a brilliant orange inferno. The atmosphere was silent, waiting in expectation. Even though in essence Fire Spin was a weak move it would take a chunk out of an opponent's health every turn, making it a useful move, but also risky for trying to capture a wild Pokemon. The storm of fire moved towards its target. In my pocket I could feel a Park Ball, ready for this capture.
    What would happen?

"Alright, Chimchar, we're going to have to start easy on this one, start off with a Fire spin attack!"

Chimchar cried out loud and leaped into position. Alex had a small worry that Swinub would be a tricky customer compared to the Machop. Despite Chimchar having the advantage over Swinub by type, Chimchar was more drained, having just battled a couple of minutes ago. Alex ignored all these doubts and started to watch the match with a clear mind.

Chimchar started things off first and ran towards the cliff, which was running adjacent to the path. He used the cliffs as a jumping point and leaped up and planted both feet of the cliff. As his feet made contact with the cliff, Chimchar propelled himself outwards, flying through the air. Once Chimchar was in the air, the small monkey Pokemon started to rotate clockwise. As he rotated, his whole body was set alight; flames bursting out from every angle. The blazing Chimchar crashed down onto the small Swinub. The fires transferred from the Chimchar and swirled around the ice Pokemon.

Chimchar bounced back after colliding with Swinub and examined his work. Flames started to circle around Swinub, causing some damage to its skin. Swinub quickly opened its small pig-like mouth and produced a cool breeze towards Chimchar. The cool breeze had large crystalline snowflakes infused in the wind. As the wind bombarded against the skin of Chimchar, the large snowflakes made their way into the hinges of Chimchar. Chimchar’s limbs were now restricted and it meant that Chimchar couldn’t move as fast as it did before. Alex worked out that Swinub had used Icy Wind, a strategic move that decreases the speed of your opponent.

Alex looked ahead and wondered what Joe’s next move was.

    Re: Individual RP: BlazeMaster

Chimchar fell through the air and released the inferno of flames towards Swinub. The Fire Spin attack enveloped the small brown Pokemon, singing its fur. Chimchar bounced back from the attacl, crying in triumph. Both Pokemon watched each other as an acrid stench started to steam off Swinub's fur. Swinub blew out an icy gust from its mouth, running over Chimchar slowly, his limbs slowly cruating up. Too late, I realised the extent of what the Icy Wind attack had done, but at keast he wasn't frozen, or worse.

I stood there, pondering what move I should use next. Maybe I should use a move that might increase Chimchar's speed, or a long distance move which would be less affected by the decrease in speed. A close range attack would be risky, especially if Swinub had a strategy. I might not have to attack this turn though, I thought. I could rest.

"OK, Chimchar, this time we're going to use Slack Off, I think that you deserve a rest," I told the Fire Monkey Pokemon. In Chimchar's current state Slack Off would almost entirely restore Chimchar's tiredness, leaving him ready to win the fight. This Swinub had spirit, and Chimchar would need as much to overcome it. I remembered back to the last time Chimchar had used Slack Off, in an environment similar to this

Chimchar started scrabbling at the rocks, trying to pull them from the mountainside. Finally, his job done, he flattened out the grass in preparation to lie down on it. The grass was a green dulled by years of living in the shade under the rocks to a dull almost grey colour. Suddenly I noticed that Swinub was preparing to use an attack. This was the only problem with Slack Off, it left Chimchar terribly exposed. But hopefully Fire Spin would help tire Swinub out. I looked up at the sky, the Sun was directly overhead,a few clouds had enterred the atmosphere and a flock of Flying types flew overhead. It might rain later, I thought. Let's hope I can catch Swinub before then

"OK, Chimchar, this time we're going to use Slack Off, I think that you deserve a rest," Joe said to his Pokemon. Alex knew that Slack Off was a move which restores energy to the user. Slack Off was an ideal move to use at the moment, as Chimchar was slowly getting low on health.

Alex watched as Chimchar raced up towards the cliff face and started to slash down on the side, removing small pieces of the cliff. The pieces cascaded down onto the road and formed a small outline of a bed. Then Chimchar looked up at the tree, which hung over the road, and leaped up onto the branch. With its small hands, Chimchar removed the leaves and guided them towards the space between the rocks. The leaves fell down and formed a comfy base for Chimchar to rest on. Alex smiled, he had never seen Slack Off used in this way; it was very interesting.

As Chimchar started to take a power nap, Swinub opened its mouth and started to form a small blue orb. The orb suddenly expanded and stopped when it was the size of a watermelon. Then the ground/ice Pokemon fired the orb into the sky. Once the orb was in the sky, it disappeared into the clouds. The clouds suddenly darkened and seconds later, water started to trickle down from the heavens. Then the fire that was circling Swinub intensified, burning the skin more. Alex then watched as the rain poured down around the flame and extinguished it.

Alex turned to Joe and said, "Wow, it seems that Swinub used the move Rain Dance. Therefore all long ranged fire attacks will not be as effective." The rain poured down all over the make shift bed, waking Chimchar up. The small Fire Pokemon shot out of the bed feeling refreshed and ready to battle.

    Re: Individual RP: BlazeMaster

Chimchar settled down for a well earned rest. It was just like last time, I thought. He started to doze off in his bed of leaves when Swinub prepared a Blue orb in its mouth. The orb shot into the atmosphere and the sky darkenned with clouds. I was right, a storm was coming. The rain pelted down, waking up the dozing Chimchar, sending him jumping indignantly from his resting place, fully refreshed. This was a new problem facing me. Alex was right, Rain Dance decreased the power of Fire type moves severely, making my chances of capturing it even slimmer. If I wanted a good chance then I had to think outside the box. He couldn't change the weather so he would just have to deal with it. I had an idea
But I can change the weather I thought.

"Chimchar, come back for a moment and wait!" I said. I felt in my pocket for the Poke Ball containing Seedot. I threw the Poke Ball and Seedot jumped out.
"Seedot, you come out and use Sunny Day, then switch with Chimchar, who'll use Flame Wheel!" I shouted at the two Pokemon. The plan was perfect, as long as Swinub did not intervene. I took shelter under the overhang of a cliff as the rain pelted down, hopefully not for much longer. I watched as Seedot formed a bright orange orb in his mouth, as bright as the Sun itself. Lightning cracked down on Mt. Oktori and the storm carried on unabated, undisturbed by this new potential influence. Water trickled down the ravine, pooling at my feet. If this plan worked I could turn the battle back in my favour. If it failed....
