Superman did as he was told. He charged towards the Sloth, he kept on gaing speed, leaving the Pokemon practically no time to defend itself with an attack. Machamp started directing his energy into his hand, and his arm and hand glowed brightly white.

He executed the move with such strength and power, than the chop had sent the poor foe tumbling a bit backwards, and landed next to a tree. The Slaking growled defiantly as Superman kept on attacking--chopping... It was not long before the Lazy Pokemon walked away.

And then, another Celebi appeared... Or was it the same one? Who came back through time travel? Either way, I couldn't waste any more time... I had to get to the next zone...

I opened my backpack, and quickly searched. I rummaged through all my things until I found... a doll. It was a doll that resembled a reindeer with a red nose--Rudolph. I tossed it at the Celebi, hopping it would go away.

When I tossed the little doll, the legendary caught it easily. It began to play with it, and I was quite amused. Pretty soon, the Celebi floated away happily.

I smiled at the sight of not having to battle yet another legendary. But then, I probably spoke too soon, another Pokemon appeared before us. My smile ceased into a frown.
The creature slightly resembled a firefly in appearance. His body, wings, and face were blue, and his body had two yellow stripes. His back as well as his arms and legs were black in color. His long, curly antennae were yellow with black stripes. The irises of his eyes were yellow, and his face seemed to display a sad or forlorn expression.

"Nia, please use Aerial Ace on that Volbeat," I told my Pokemon who nodded and began to gather some energy for the attack.

 

OOC EDIT: So it seems I made a mistake I was meant to ask you if you wished to warp after 5 items. I will auto warp you after this encounter if you would like or we can battle the last on of the area, assuming the scenario roll doesn't warp you anyway. (Lets just hope for no more Celebi's XD)

Nia's wings glowed white. She flapped them continuously to gain more power, more energy. Then, she swooped quickly at the foe, causing it to slam into a nearby tree.
I was quite surprised that a creature of that sort could be easily thrown back. But, then again, Aerial Ace was a pretty strong move. I praised my Staraptor while the Volbeat flew away.

Then, yet another wild Pokemon appeared before us. This one was a large blue creature whose most obvious feature was its huge mouth, where its large tongue could be seen. It had two hippopotamus-like teeth on each jaw. It also had extruding tubes with holes along its body: seven along its head-crest, four on its elbows and knees, two along its back and two on the end of its two tails. The holes along its head-crest and tails were tipped with yellow, and the holes along its back had yellow semicircular patterns at the sides. The creature's eyes were red in color, and looked intimidating. There was also a half-circle on its belly, which was barely visible because of its giant mouth. Its arms had three thin stripes below its elbow and three fingers. The entity’s feet had four claws, three in front and one at the back, and a yellow paw pad on its underside.

The Exploud growled, and took a step forwards--towards us. I gulped uneasily, and, even with the Intimidate ability, Nia cowered back slightly, too. I quickly called her back, and let Superman out. His bold nature would be very useful this time.. Though, I must say, Kipper's brave nature would also work. But, then again, my Machamp is more effective compared to Swampert.

"Alright, Superman, Brick Break!" I commanded. His arms and hands glowed brightly again, but the energy he needed was not as much as for the Cross Chop--but it was a lot as well.

OOC: No worries about forgetting to ask me about warping... It's been nice and fun to have more encounters and more items. Speaking of items (and Celebis), shouldn't I have Santa's SuitX2 because I battled 2 Celebis? And shouldn't my reindeer dool be removed from my list of items as well? Oh, and I wish to be warped to the next zone after this encounter, please.

"Alright, Superman, Brick Break!" I commanded. My Machamp's arms glowed brightly as he prepared for the attack. The energy was stored in there quickly as he ran swiftly towards the Exploud.

With a mighty whip, Superman pushed the foe back--slightly. Then, another chop, and this time the opponent growled. The roar made Mahcamp flinch slightly, but he kept on attacking. After a short while, I breathed a sigh of relief, Superman had successfully fended off the Exploud, without taking any damage at all!

"Great job, my friend!" I praised, giving him a light slap on the back. If I had done it any harder, I probably wouldn't be able to continue the quest as Superman's body was very rigid and tough.

Then, suddenly, as I leaned back into a tree, I felt a weird sensation. I saw my Machamp cringe slightly, and my chest seemed to be banging back and forth. My heart and lungs pumped and panted heavily. It was an awkward, weird, and bad feeling... My stomach jumped and turned; and tumbled and spun. Oh, I though I would faint... Then, I wondered if my ranger felt the same. I turned to try to ask him, but an invisible force somewhat prevented me to. Some sense flooded into my brain, this felt a lot like Teleport--oh, how unused to that feeling I was...

A moment later, I saw swirls of different colors... At first they were brown with green, I even saw the trees of the woods. Then, the picture seemed to have morphed in such a way that I could see the clouds mixed in with the colors of blue and white. In an instant, the scene of the Woods was gone, completely. It was all just the clouds left, there were platforms and pillars surrounding them up in the sky, serving as a landing. Realization kicked into me, my ranger and I, together with our Pokemon, had just been warped from one zone to another!

It took me a few more moments to get used to the feeling of warping, and to get used to the chilly breezes up here in the Outer Heavens. I shivered in the cold, and my Machamp wasn't faring too well, either. I quickly returned him to his Pokeball.

We had only climbed up a platform or two when a flying type swooped at us. It was a small bird Pokémon with dark blue feathers. It had patches of red on its chest and forehead, the patch on its forehead having a triangular upper tip. The entity's wings have wingtips that were elongated, thus making the wings seem configured for speed and maneuverability. The underside of the wings also had white coloration. It also possessed two sharp tail feathers. And the creature's yellow beak was somewhat short, but wide, and its black feet had yellow nails.

"Tail-loow!" the TinySwallow Pokemon screamed as it got ready for battle. I released Kipper, my Swampert. I knew ground type moves would be ineffective against these creatures, but he would be the better choice as my other two Pokemon needed a rest.

"Kipper, let's start off with Muddy Water! Try to drop its accuracy!" I commanded, wherein Swampert growled, beginning to focus. Soon, streams of brown, dirty-looking water were shot out in a spiraling motion.

My Swampert closed his eyes, and began to draw in liquid, but muddy, energy. I wanted to tell him to go faster, but I did not because it would hinder him from delivering a wonderful attack. I saw the Taillow's wings glowing brightly, now. I wanted to scream at Kipper to watch out, but I could not. The Wing Attack would hurt less with hid Brave Nature, as I figured, compared to my interference with KIpper's focusing.

In a flash, the TinySwallow Pokemon had swooped, aiming at the side of Swampert's torso. The wing, glowing white, had directly, and unexpectedly--for Swampert, hit. Thus, causing Kipper to slide back a little--or maybe it would be best to say, he slid sidewards... not backwards.

He seemed to have cringed, and shot his eyes open--they were showing slight furiousness. He quickly focused more energy into the whole of his body. The next moment, water began surrounding him. But, it wasn't any regular, clean water, it was muddy, dirty water. That, I realized, was how the attack got its name. Soon enough, more muddy splashes were spiraling and circling Kipper... It looked like a watery vortex had covered him. He then released the barrage of liquid mud at the opponent powerfully.

The mud seemed to have covered the whole of Taillow's body, and it began to fly and flap its wings viciously. It shook its head in an attempt to clear the water from its eyes. It was pretty useless.. The bird slowly began to descend, its accuracy lowered.

I wanted to use a powerful ground-typed attack, but I knew it would not work. Flying types, as I remembered, were immune to these type of attacks, unless, of course, they were on the ground. I quickly formed a plan to wait for, and if, the birds in this zone would land on the ground. If they did, I would use ground-typed attacks.

"Great job, Kipper! Now, use Take Down and take an advantage of this situation!" I commanded. "Follow up with Water Gun, if needed."

My Swampert growled fiercely, and began to charge speedily at the enemy. Once more, he began to gather power for the attack. I hoped the Take Down would be enough as I wanted to move on. I knew it was just the beginning, but I didn't really like the Outer Heavens already. Flying types were strong, I can tell you that as I have Nia... If only I had taught my Swampert how to use Ice Beam.

As he ran towards the Taillow, the bird began glowing and started shifting from side to side. I remembered the move I told Nia to use earlier, and recognized it as Agility. I gulped, hoping Kipper would be able to hit the TinySwallow before it tries to dodge.

Fortunately, Kipper did get the chance to hit the opponent dead-on, causing the flying type to flap its wings and go away. Swampert cringed slightly as he took recoil damage from the attack. I cheered, ready to walk away.

Up a few more pillars we went, the clouds getting bigger and thicker. The wind was blowing colder as we climbed from platform to platform. We reached the place where evaporation turned into the process of condensation. And, because of the cold climate, it started snowing once more.

The next moment, we encountered yet another flying type. And would you believe it? It was another Taillow! I grumbled, thinking it would be hard to defeat again. But then, I was grateful it wasn't an evolved flying type.

"Kipper, hang in there, okay?" I called, my Swampert nodded with a determined face. I figured he knew we had to push through, no matter what. Even if this zone would be a hard one. "Okay, let's try Mud Shot! Shoot them upwards, towards the Taillow. If that doesn't work, use Hydro Pump!"

He began to focus his energy and power into his inner body, and into his mouth. Opening his nuzzle, a stream of brown-colored mud--really sticky looking mud, mid you--shot out and upwards, heading for the TinySwallow Pokemon. I wished this attack would work, even if ground-type moves shouldn't really have any effect on them flying types. But, this move was heading upwards, not at the ground! In any case, if the Mud Shot would not work, Kipper would use Hydro Pump.

When Kipper opened his mouth, a stream of brown circular objects blasted out in a stream continuously. I stared hard and long at that streak, and when it actually got close to the Taillow... It missed--missed! My head dropped defiantly as I kept on replaying the scene over and over.

I forced myself to look up just as I heard my Swampert growl furiously, gathering much more power than actually needed for the Hydro Pump. He blasted a powerful-looking jet of blue, crystal-clear water at the TinySwallow Pokemon. As it got closer and closer, the stream of liquid neared as well. It was weird because the Pokemon didn't even dodge--or maybe it did not have time to... On second thought, it seemed to have been planning an attack--Quick Attack, perhaps. The Hydro Pump hit directly, causing the bird to zoom away by the powerful force. I watched pityingly as it soared backwards in an arch, and went down with.. a thud?

"Alright, Kipper! Let's keep that up, okay?" I called to my Pokemon. He nodded in agreement. I looked at the ground, why?--I do not know. I saw a red-colored bag with some green shades at the top. It was a bag--Santa's Present Bag... Carefully, I picked it up and put it with the rest of the Christmas items I had collected.

Just as I said those words, and Kipper had bounded back towards me, another flying type appeared. I scowled, I noticed encounters in this area came one after the other almost immediately. Luckily, this Pokemon was in its most basic form. It was a brown avian Pokémon that was very small. It had a beak shaped like that of raptors, being short but hooked. I saw the creature's beige-colored underside, that also had a pattern of two thin stripes, as it flapped its pinkish-red wings that had lighter edges. The Tiny Bird Pokemon's light-pink feet had three talons, while its back was black in coloration. It also had three brown-colored tail feathers.

"Spear-row!" it cried happily, ready for a nice, good-natured battle. At least this one was not in a bad mood.

"I'll have to risk you staying in there for a little longer, Kipper... You're my best hope for now, for this zone. I may switch you out later on, though," I told my trusty starter. I believed in him with all my heart, and he knew that. I suspect he also knows he needs to keep his strength up for the rest of the zone, as he was the one who had less disadvantages against flying types, compared to my other Pokemon. I just hoped he would push through...

I took a deep breath as I barked out my next commands. "Let's go for a combo! As you charge in for another Take Down, use Protect to shield you from any of Spearow's attacks."

Kipper began charging speedily at the foe, a light energy beginning to surround him. Soon, this light would become a barrier--slightly pink in coloration--that would protect my Swampert from any of the opponent's attacks... For now, at least. He started gaining power for his modified Quick Attack or Tackle--that's what Take Down was, afterall.

OOC: Just wonderin' why Swampert didn't use Protect in the Note Log...

Kipper began charging speedily at the foe, a light energy beginning to surround him. Its beak glowed white and swooped at Kipper before the shield come form completely. The peck attack was quite rushed so it did not really do that much damage, but it did cause my Swampert to frown in some pain.

The Tiny Bird Pokemon soared into the sky to gain energy for another attack. Kipper started gaining power for his modified Quick Attack or Tackle--that's what Take Down was, afterall. Growling energetically, he reached the Spearow before it could launch another attack. The opponent was flung into the skies and air--just like the Taillow--but not before dropping us a Snow Star Crystal.

If I were to write a short essay about the legendary Latias right now, the paragraph containing vivid descriptions of what she looked like would be like this:
Latias is a bird-like dragon Pokémon vaguely resembling Lugia. The lower half of her body is red with jet-plane wings and stubby feet that are similar to ones Crobat has. Latias has a blue triangle-shaped ring on her chest that resembles one of the spots Togepi and Togetic have. Latias's white and red arms can be tucked into her body in order to reduce air-resistance when in flight. The upper-half of Latias's body is white. She has triangle-shaped ears and a red face with a white pentagon in the middle.

How could I write all this information about the Eon Pokemon this moment, you ask? Well, there was one particular legendary creature right in front of me--staring down at me... Yes, you guessed it, she is Latias. I stared back at her, a pain of anxiety and fear swelling up in my chest and abdomen... I would rather have evolved wild Pokemon instead of a legendary.., No offense the the wonderful Latias of course, but this was going to be one tough battle--and that was the last thing I needed right now.

I mentally smacked myself for not bringing Bolt, my Electivire. How could I cone here so unprepared...?! I am so guilty and regretting ever leaving Bolt at home. But, I could not possibly keep on mourning about that mistake now. There was a Latias to battle.

"Kipper, can you handle this, or would you like to switch out?" I asked my Pokemon. He raored and nodded bravely. I smiled, that was why I liked my Swampert--he was very brave and would battle even if he couldn't really. Of course, Superman would have done the same because of his bold and courageous nature.

"Let's try Protect again. Then Muddy Water!" I ordered.

Once again, a pink light surrounded Kipper, creating a barrier. The energy became thicker and stronger... This time, my Swampert had established the shield before the Latias could release her attack.

The legendary Pokemon had begun to gather power as well, green light encircling her front part. Her hands came to her mouth to help absorb the energy building up inside of her. A ball of green, powerful light emerged from her mouth--her hands catching the ball. With a final push, she released the Energy Ball, which headed straight for Swampert at an amazing speed.

But, Swampert was ready. Kipper had his Protect ready and waiting for Latias's attack. He was storing energy for Muddy Water. The Ball collided with the pink shield, both disappearing and dispersing there after wards.

As before, a liquid energy covered Kipper. It was dirty and brown water. The water spiraled around my Pokemon... Then, it blasted forcefully at the Eon Pokemon, hitting directly as the legendary had not expected this. She was thrown back, but not by much.

Protect was a great move, I admit that. It would help this battle a lot, but I could not keep running could I? No, I had to face this Eon creature. I could not keep on using Protect, it was against the rules--I think... But, you get the idea.

I shook my head and focused on the battle in front of me. I pushed the negative thoughts to the back of my head. Take Down would hurt Kipper as well as the opponent, so I can't do that. I decided on a water-typed move.

"Hydro Pump, Kipper! Try dodging other moves if you can... I know you can do it!"

Latias's eyes glowed bright pink as her body began to brighten with energy as well. Kipper was, at the moment, focusing on delivering the Hydro Pump attack. As before, he took in liquid energy--I think that's what it is called... He was about to open his mouth when...

The pink power seemed to have transferred from the legendary's body to my Swampert's, but the light in her eyes did not vanish.

The powerful Psychic attack tossed Kipper about, causing a good deal of damage. He was rolled back and forth on the platform, and if that wasn't enough, the Eon Pokemon made him roll and tumble down the staircase of pillars. I gulped uneasily and, for lack of better term, cowardly. I watched helplessly as poor Kipper took more and more damage.

I shook my head and started to get angry. Opening and clenching my fists repeatedly and continuously, I turned to face the Latias as soon as my Swampert slowly crawled back to the battle platform. I was grumbling furiously now...

His eyes were full of rage as well... How could a Pokemon do such a mean thing? Some creatures were just different... Gaining more energy and power once more, he quickly launched a water-typed attack. His nuzzle was wide open, firing a barrage of water at the foe. The Latias fled soon after that, but not until giving us a glare of rage and fury--no sign of "peace" whatsoever.

Not so long after that "weird" battle, we came across another, luckily basic, flying-normal-type. It resembled a small, plump-bodied bird. It had a brown color, with a lighter-colored throat and belly. The tips of the Pokemon's wings shared this cream color. Both its feet and beak were a pinkish-gray color. The Tiny Bird had black markings around its eyes and a small crest of brown and cream feathers above its eyes. It had been flying and soaring through the skies, then, suddenly, landed on a tree branch and looked at us distantly...

I remembered that Pidgey, the name of this creature, came from the region of Kanto. Then, I realized I had encountered all the basic small flying-type Pokemon from each region except Starly--the pre-evolved form of Staraptor. It was quite weird and unexpected to have encountered them, but nevertheless, I am grateful I have not yet encountered an evolved Pokemon...

"Alright, just a little more, Kipper. Muddy Water!" I nodded and smiled at Kipper encouragingly, and he looked at me slightly grimly as he turned to face the Pidgey.
