Location : Outpost #3 (Woods)

"I'm sorry Sparky, I underestemated this Scizor, let's go!" He said. I wasn't sure exactly what he was doing, but you couldn't just turn your back on a wild Pokemon. Then, one of my Pokeballs fell to the ground. Cutthroat, my Scizor came out. The wild Scizor saw this and began to back off. Damien was lucky though that Scizor wasn't too interested in continuing this battle. That was a good thing, because this guy could do some damage. I let out a small sigh as Scizor took off in the opposite direction from us. I was kind of relieved because I didn't want to have to battle it.

"Cutthroat, know where any smaller Pokemon are?" I asked him. Cutthroat looked around and shrugged, then pointed into a tree behind me. I turned and saw a small Aipom hanging from the branch. It looked at us with a goofy face and stuck its tongue out at Pikachu.

"Want to battle this Aipom?" I asked Damien.

After saying my newest command to Sparky, Rex gave me a puzzle look. I know, I'm crazy. Right then, one of Rex's pokeballs fell off his belt. With a flash of Red, a Scizor appeared. The wild Scizor, not wantng to fight, ran away. Man, Rex has saved me more then once now.

"Cutthroat, know where any smaller Pokemon are?" Rex asked the Scizor, Cutthroat. Cutthroat shrugged and pointed to a tree behind Rex. Both of us turned, discovering a purple monkey hanging from a branch. I recognized the monkey as an Aipom. This was a weaker pokemon, a battle perfect for Sparky and I.

"Want to battle this Aipom?" Rex asked me.

"Sparky, think you can handle it?" I asked Sparky, looking down. She smiled and nodded her head, knowing that this battle would be a lot easier then the previous one. I smiled back.

"Okay girl, start things off with a thunder wave to paralyse it, keeping it rom going far, then thundershock the Aipom!" I commanded.

"Sparky, think you can handle it?" Damien asked his rodent. The small Pikachu nodded confidently. It was pretty good that he asked his Pokemon before deciding to battle Aipom. At least he considered her feelings unlike some Trainers that I've seen. It was something I didn't see often. "Okay girl, start things off with a Thunder Wave to paralyse it, keeping it from going far, then Thundershock the Aipom!" He called out.

Pikachu began charging a blue orbs of electrical energy. Thunder Wave was a pretty convenient move. It paralyzed the opponent from time to time. The electrical attack hit the small, long-tailed Pokemon. Aipom tried to move, but he couldn't even move a muscle. Pikachu then shot out a small bolt of electricity. Thundershock wasn't really a strong move, but it was going to have to be enough for now .

Aipom finally regain movement and lashed out at the Electric mouse. His long tail slammed hard into her left side. Pikachu dropped to one knee as she tried to fight off the pain to continue battling. She got up and prepared herself to continue fighting. I was pretty impressed with her determination and endurance.

Sparky shot a small electrical attack towards Aipom. When the attack struck, Aipom was instantly paralyzed, falling to the ground, unable to move. Sparky then began charging more electricity as she prepared thundershock. Just as Aipom started to get up, Sparky shot her thundershock, knocking it back down. The Aipom got back up and started running towards Sparky. With a jump, his tail slammed into her side. Sparky started to go down, but put a knee down and kept her balance. That was my fighter!

"Ok girl, good job! Let's have an electro ball!!" I shouted. Sparky jumped up into the air and formed a ball of electicity, preparing to shoot it at Aipom.

I knew everything relied on this attack and the next one. If Spaky couldnt do a decent amount of damage to the Aipom here, then we were going to have a heck of a time recovering on the next move. I hoed everything would go according to plan.

"Ok girl, good job! Let's have an Electro Ball!!" Damien called out. It was a pretty good move. However, it was also bad. Electro Ball was sort of good in the fact that Aipom was pretty fast and that it relied on speed to determine damage. Pikachu was incredily slow, at least slower than it was when she first arrived here at the park. Because of all the battling she did, she was now pretty tired and slow, so that was a good thing when using this attack, but she was also pretty low on health, which was a bad thing.

Pikachu formed a small ball of electricty. That small ball quickly grew as she launched it at Aipom. Aipom got hit, and it seemed like it hurt, but it wasn't anywhere near as damaged as Pikachu was. She was going to have to be careful. Aipom was now coming in with Double Hit. Both of his tails were up high and ready to strike as he moved in ok Pikachu.

After commanding my attack, Sparky began charging a ball of electricity, then shot it at the Aipom, the ball crackled and popped from the static as it flew through the air. Slamming into the Aipom, I could tell he was hurt, but that still wasnt enough damage. I quickly thought through all the statagies we had used in our battling time. One strong move wouldn't be enough here, it would have to be a combo. Suddenly, my battle with the Paras at the start of this run flashed through my mind.

Aipom raised his tail and slowly began walking towards Sparky, going for a Double Hit. I quickly built a new plan based off my one i used with the Paras.

"Ok girl, if we can get this combo right, we should have it! Start off with a thunderwave and try to paralyse him again! Try to avoid the double hit!" I yelled. I hoped that my first stage of the plan was going to work.

 

@KantoMastaOOC: Tag me in your next post because BMG doesn't tell me when you post. All this time I thought you were inactive and forgot about this, but you actually posted, sorry ;[.

"Ok girl, if we can get this combo right, we should have it! Start off with a Thunder Wave and try to paralyse him again! Try to avoid the Double Hit!" he yelled. I hoped that my first stage of the plan was going to work.

I wasn't sure what kind of combo this was since he was only using Thunder Wave and no other move. Perhaps he forgot to call out his second move. At least that was my guess. Pikachu charged a small ball of blue electricity.

The orb was launched towards Aipom. Thunder Wave hit Aipom, but the little guy was far from immoblized. Aipom launched towards Pikachu and lashed out with his small arm, scratching Pikachu. The small Electric mouse cried out in pain, but it didn't seem any less weaker than it already was.

Sparky shot a small electric attack at the aipom. It struck, and i thought that my plan might work. Then, the Aipom, just shrugged off the electricity and charged towards Sparky. The purple monkey jumped. Bringing his hand back, he shot it forward with small claws outreached. It struck Sparky on the side. If it was enough to do any serious damage, Sparky wasn't showing it.

Suprksingly enough though, Aipom didnt move anywhere, he just stayed there, not even 4 feet from Sparky, after the attack. Without that paralyses, I couldn't go back to my original plan, but with how close he was, there stilll was a chance. I immeddiately went through a list of Sparky's moves in my head. Two moves stuck out as I thought of them.

"Ok girl, Slam to knock it away, then follow with a Thunderbolt!!" I commanded.

"Ok girl, Slam to knock it away, then follow with a Thunderbolt!!" He called out to his Pikachu. The small rodent obediently rammed itself onto the paralyzed double-tailed monkey Pokemon. Aipom cried out in pain, but was unable to move for the time being. Pikachu saw this as the perfect time to release a Thunderbolt attack.

The purple and creme colored Pokemon watched helplessly as Pikachu charged up an electrical attack. He couldn't even raise his arms to defend himself. When Pikachu finally had Thunderbolt charged up and ready to go, she launched it at Aipom. Aipom took the hit at full blast since it was unable to move, but lucky for him, Pikachu wasn't at full health, so it didn't hurt as much as it should have.

Thunderbolt seemed to have given Aipom a small charge, so to say, and it was now mobile again. Aipom dashed forward and began tickling Pikachu all over. This was a bit funny I had to admit, but I didn't laugh. Aipom didn't let up, he just kept on tickling Pikachu. That was going to lower the rodents defenses, which wasn't a good thing, considering the state it was in.

The yellow mouse ran forward towards the Aipom. The Monkey couldn't move in time. I heard a light thud as Sparky slammed Aipom. Aipom put his tail down and used the hand to try to stop himself. The hand rubbed against the dirt until the Aipom managed to flip over onto his feet. When he landed though, he staggered backward. I knew t had hurt him. Aipom just started to take a step forward, when the paralyses overcame him. The monkey had a look of terror as he realized he couldn't move.

Sparky's cheeks flashed with small, electrical sparks. As the sparks grew bigger and bigger, the began to connect with eachother, until Sparky built up as much electricity as she could. With a small jump, the electric mouse shot a full-powered thunderbolt at the monkey. Aipom was lucky Sparky wasn't at full health, because that would have most likely been a 1 or 2HKO.

The electricity covered the monkey for a moment, then it cleared and Aipom was still standing. He took a step forward.The another, then another. He was gaining speed with each step, coming out of paralyses. He ran forward with his two little purple arms outreached, tickling Sparky. I knew that was a move that while not doing damage to HP, it would lower defenses. I thought the Aipom would quit and jump back so i could get a longe range attack, but this did not seem to be the case.

I immediately thought of short range attacks that i could use. With how close Aipom was i could try a slam, but at the same time he was tickling Sparky, to where she might not be able to attack. Ok, i had a plan, but it was all or nothing. "Ok Sparky, use a thunderbolt on youselve!!" I commanded.

"Ok Sparky, use a Thunderbolt on youself!!" He called out. I wasn't totally sure that was a smart idea. Pikachu, although an Electric, could still get hurt by Electric type moves. With the condition it was in, I knew it wasn't smart to do something like that, but if he felt it was necessary, then so be it. I just hoped the little mouse could take it.

Pikachu cried out weakly as she charged up another attack. I could tell she was ready to pass out at any second. It was only a matter of time now. When that happened, I would have to step in and stop the battle. I would also have to escort Damien out of the Park, something I didn't like doing to trainers if their time hasn't expired yet. On the same note, Aipom wasn't looking too hot himself either. He too looked as if he were ready to collapse at any second.

Aipom saw the charging of the attack and backed up a little, but kept on tickling. He couldn't go far though, because the attack didn't take long to charge up. Pikachu released another small blast of electricity at Aipom, and herself. Both Pikachu and Aipom fell to the ground. They rose to their feet, not taking their eyes off of each other. Both Pokemon were now panting heavily. This wasn't looking good, and I wasn't sure which would fall first. Damien would have to capture Aipom before he passed out though. The park had a rule that didn't allow anyone to capture a Pokemon when they were knocked out. I wasn't exactly sure why, but that was the way it was.

Sparky's eyes flashed as she called upon her last amounts of strength. I knew that this would be our last attack in the park. As i saw sparks start to appear,the whole world seemed to slow down, coming to a complete stop. I saw our whole run so far in full detail.

Rex pushed Sparky away as she licked him on the nose. I laughed and jogged over. Peeling her off of Rex, I apologised. He wasn't impressed.

Rex bended down to pick up a mushroom, when he froze suddenly. A Parasect jumped up and ran, leaving a small Paras behind.

I watched Sparky dash forward at a blinding speed, using a quick attack. Sparky then dropped her shoulder and slammed the small aras, sending it flying.

I threw a pokeball in the air, caught it and threw it at the Paras. It shot a beam of red light that engulfed the Paras. The ball fell to the ground, shook a few times and stopped. I pumped my fist into the air as i realized that i caught my first pokemon of the run.

We were walking along the trail as a purple figure shot out of nowhere. It hit Rex in the head, and i realized it was a Venipede, I had to catch it.

Sparky shot the thundershock at the branch, causing sparks. The smoke arrived first, then the fire. The tree was ablaze.

After putting out the fire, the battle coninued. I pulled out a superball and walked over to the purple creature. I kneeled down next to him, and he hit his forehead on the pokeball. The light engulfed him, and there he stayed, now my pokemon.

The Slaking, Mankey and Scizor we ran from flahed. I regretted even trying to battle that Scizor now.

Suddenly, i was back by the battle. Time seemed to speed up again. The sparks turned into a shock, and the shock engulfed Sparky and the Aipom. Both pokemon fell to the ground. It didn't look like either would get up. Slowly, Sparky rose to her knees, using an arm to steady herself, Sparky stood up.

The Aipom slowly stood up as well. He used the hand on his tail to steady himself. Both pokemon panted heavily. Either pokemon could collapse at any second. I knew that no more moves would be traded. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my superball. I turned my cap backwards and readied myself. Taking precauitous aim, I threw the pokeball into the air. The red and white sphere reflected the sunlight. Catching the ball, i threw it as hard as i could. The sphere flew threw the air, rolling as it went. When it hit the purple monkey, it bounced into the air. It opened with a clink. A red beam of light came out and hit Aipom. Aipom suddenly had an outline of red. It glowed red, and was sucked into the pokeball. The pokeball fell to the ground, rocking back and forth. The button flashed red and white, back and forth. once, twice,....

Damien took out a Superball, one of his last ones, and tossed it towards the Aipom. I knew this would more than likely be a sucessful capture, based on the health and status of the Aipom. There was no way it could escape that. If it did, it had some guts and I would be even more impressed. Damien tossed the Superball over towards Aipom. It hit the small monkey on its head. A red light shot out and sucked the little guy in.

The ball dropped to the ground and shook several times on the ground before finally coming to a stop. I let out a sigh of relief and walked over to the Pokeball and picked it up. It turned out that all that effort actually paid off.

"Congrats!" I said to him. "That was a close one. Oh, also. Now that you don't have any Pokeballs left, we'll have to call it a day. At least you got three Pokemon though. That is pretty good." I said as I led him out. "Come again soon."

The ball stopped shaking with a tick. I grinned and jumed into the air, fist up. "We did it Sparky! Good job girl!" I shouted as i ran towards my Pikachu. I picked her up and held her in my arms, smiling. She grinned back at me and slowly shut her eyes, going to sleep. "You deserve a rest, thanks for giving it your all today"

I smiled to the lady behind the desk as i picked up the four pokeballs. A pokeball, a parkbll, and two superballs. "Thanks for healing all of them. I put the pokeballs in my belt, and walked away from the park. Hearing the door shut behind me, i knew i would be coming again soon.
