    By the way

Since this is all up to dice roll, could a beginner wanting to RP run into something they couldn't handle?

For example, most people in BMG only have 1/2 pokemon at the first stage. This is all up to diceroll, so they have just the same chance of running into a angry poliwrath (10 bucks if you know where thats from) as an expert?

I wish it was up to the Trainer.

If it was up to me, I'd go into the Main RP. But I can't. No Rangers go there. None that I've seen, anyway. As of right now, four people have applied for the Main RP, one being me, and none have been taken in.

I think the real issue is with the number of Rangers. There's barely any here that are active. (One being you, thanks for that)

(By the way, your sig looks really nice. Who's the guy in it?)

Yes, a lot of the active Rangers are currently handling several RPs @ PE2K. However, it's more than possible for anyone here to become a Ranger, if any of you like. You can find the Ranger Quiz in the Park Encyclopedia.

As for people wanting to go through the Main RP, I don't mind taking people. However, I'm a bit slow to reply, as I'm currently in two RPs myself. That being the case I'd only be able to take one person, two at the most.

If anyone's having trouble finding a Ranger for their RP, feel free to PM/IM/VM me and I'll see what I can do to get you guys on your way.

Oh, and remember that the Park Discount applies to Extra Pokemon Permits as well, not just the Entry Fee.

Since the Park RP is run 'Anime style,' does that mean that we can KO a wild pokemon and still catch it? This happens a few times throughout the show, but in the games you have to leave a sliver of health..... Are both viable options?

Can a party of trainers go into the park under one ranger, or does each trainer in the party need their own ranger?

A Ranger CAN take more than one Ranger in the Main Park RP if they feel like Rangering a group. However, since that is very uncommon - group RPs are more for special events, like that of Halloween.

During Halloween, a Ranger took a group of trainers through different areas to attack against Zombies and Vampires and such. :)

Finished my ranger test and sent it in to Dog of Hellsing.

Can someone explain what the practicality test is?

That's what I'm working on right now (I think), and it is basically a very elaborate, detailed scenario that is sent to you in a pm once you pass the quiz. You read the scenario, then submit to the same Ranger who graded your Quiz your answer, and they discuss with some other Elite Rangers whether or not to pass you.

Current Rangers, feel free to override me with a better answer :D

Sorry for the double post, but I'm a little bit confused about something:

In the shop, the description for ParkBalls and SuperBalls states that they cannot catch Stage 2 Pokemon.

What does it mean by "Stage 2"? Like, in the Dratini evolution line, is the Dragonite Stage 2, or the Dragonair?

I'm pretty sure it's the Dragonite, but someone told me I was wrong...

    You're right.

Dratini = Basic, Dragonair = Stage One, Dragonite = Stage Two.

But that brings up another interesting question. Will, say Electivire or Magmortar be capture-able (is this even a word XD) by a Super Ball, since technically, it's not a "Stage 2", but a Stage One (Elekid/Magby baby and Electabuzz/Magmar basic)

This is addressed in general to everyone btw, not the person I quoted, just in case anyone is confused.

While I have 0 authority on the subject, I'd say Electivire and Magmortar are Stage 2 as far as the Park is concerned, since Someone who gets, say, a Squirtle as their starter could've gotten an Elekid. Squirtle=Elekid=Basic.

With any luck I'll pass my test relatively soon, I sent it off a couple days ago.

Quite excited about it all :expect:

I have the same opinion. Maybe we should have something like this.

Primary Stage = Baby Pokemon/Basic Pokemon which have no babies.
Secondary Stage = Basic Pokemon for Pokemon which have Baby Stage/First Stage for Pokemon which have no babies
Tertiary Stage = First Stage for Pokemon which have Baby Stage/Second Stage for rest.

If you think you're capable enough, you should go ahead

Just curious, what is this all about? Are there some imbalances or something?
