i like that idea. i also think that you might want to have hall specific actifvities. like for the fire hall a hike up a volcano. or for the grass hall classes on how to recognize and use different herbs and plants

Heh, this is actually a pretty cool idea.
Considering I'm not sure if anyone here even has their own house.

Are we allowed to have roommates?
(or at least a karaoke bar? :D)

Everyone has their own room, in a section. Roommates are generally not allowed.

Okay, so I'm going to try and plan a 2v2 single-elimination tournament for those interested. I'll put a notice up in each of the halls, and a couple lounge places; should I have the general bulletin board be in the thread for my room, or should I have it in the hall, or create a separate thread for it?

I've been meaning to make a thread specifically for announcments. Please do not post any notices.

We may discuss it when you arrive.

I think the multitude of threads and the generally short and low quality posts have made "The Trainer's Estate" get out of hand. Why can't you have one thread only where you put at the top of each post your location in bold.

"4. In order to promote quality, every post must have a minimum of 200 characters. This only applies to In-Character compositions."

    No I don't think that's a good idea love.

Like I may be new to the Estate but trust me it's a place where you can relax and sozialize with other rpers and letting people have short posts let them be normal around the estate.

Still, the character minimum rule should be followed. Additionally, promoting RP Quality is a noble goal and certainly every RPer wants to be able to post in a manner that truly expresses oneself in a detailed way. We should all strive hard to improve our roleplaying ability. That is the theme of pokemon. Working hard and aiming for the top.

I'd rather not have another disater like the Casa, thank you. I know that stuff is all over the place, but this is just until we can get it sub-divided.

Edit: I need my food seperated too.lol

And I did recently add a 2-3 lines bare minimum rule to the estate.

I don't think it requires or deserves its own forum section. I like to think of RPs as somewhat of a highly collaborated, sophisticated story. This seems to me like a bunch of conversations scattered across a bunch of threads. There is no direction. When I supported the idea I didn't know there would be so many threads involved.

In agreement, although I didn't really support the idea in the first place.

I also think the minimum character of 200 should be increased (not that it's been followed). People can actually still make way casual posts with 200 characters.

I see what you guys are saying, as I've been trying to bring some order/unity to this place.

I had an idea, as I am not sure which section to go to next, and who to chat to, as sometimes when I enter a room, I occasionally get ignored. So, could we have a thread where we request someone to chat to, and find someone looking for a sort of adventure to do?

How come the Estate has been extremely inactive recently?
