The game was mainly blow for blow. Serperior looked like it was going to maybe sweep, but a well timed Metal Burst put an end to the conniving snake. From then, BT just had the number of mons to be able to counter everything Big sent. Good game!

Okay so. Gaz was constantly switching to different Pokémon to avoid losing one. Combined with the occasional hit and recurring damage from Solar Power, Charizard was slowly but surely losing its health. However, it was after Gaz had sent out all of his Pokémon when Charizard was finally taken down. At this point, with most of Gaz's team slightly damaged, a Choice Specs Rotom-Fan's Thunderbolt took out Gaz's remaining Pokémon, snatching the win for Ash K. Good game!

Special Rule: Skinny = Speedy. A Pokemon’s weight is directly proportional to their speed. The lighter the Pokemon, the faster the speed. Moves that decrease weight act as a speed boosting move and moves the Pokemon up the list. Speed boosting moves such as Agility and Rock Polish only increase the speed stat for moves such as Electro Ball and Gyro Ball.


Not my best, not my worst. Those last ~10 or so turns of stalling were pretty grueling though. Either way, good game!

There was a lot of switching going around for the first half or so of the battle. A large part of this came down to Fawkes having selected all four of his mons while Ketchum had only selected two. This allowed him to send in his Tropius against Mamoswine and deal some damage to Hydreigon before being KO'd by a Tailwind boosted Mamoswine. However, Tropius survived just long enough for the Tailwind to end and a Moxie Salamence to sweep the rest of Fawkes' already whittled team. Good game!

The majority of this battle was getting some Sketched moves for Ash's Smeargle. Upon his request, these are the Sketched moves:

Challenger Zoned (Cloyster, Shiftry, Empoleon, Donphan, Sharpedo, Drapion) vs. Rustboro Gym Leader BlueTowel (Omastar, Aerodactyl, Lunatone, Archeops, ??????, ??????)

Blue held the lead throughout the battle. Omastar alone took out the first two mons and crippled Empoleon before it was KO'd, and Zoned had a tough time recovering from it. Donphan helped pull things back as it took out Aerodactyl but was soon KO'd by toxic while Lunatone set up a bit and Baton Passed to Archeops. Archeop's enhanced defenses made it much harder to kill, and Roost helped Blue keep momentum. Archeops finished off the game, KOing the rest of Zoned's team. Good game!
