    AIM would be recommended for battle play. However, you can always sign up on AIM Express and then use Meebo, which is a free service that incorporates AIM and such into a webpage.

    Also, just so people know, you can enter with basics on your team if you wish, and can enter in battle. You do have another week to sign up, unless DoH and I decide otherwise, so you have enough time to get more Pokes and evolve them

    BMG forum ffa/dojos/own writing contest. I don't think it's the fact that there aren't many noob tournaments, but that there's no precedent for them so I guess pe2kers feel left out.

    Didn't we have one shortly after the URPG opened here? I'm certain we had a newb tourney, but maybe it was some other sort of Battle event.

    I don't remember there being any battle tournaments, though someone on the PE2K sign up thread said something about a "Master and Apprentice" Tournament.

    Also, I think that we could accept 20 more sign ups, to make it 64. Because then it can go 64 - 32 - 16 - 8 - 4 - 2 - Winner. Not definite yet, but I'll talk to Dog of Hellsing about it on AIM soon. If you do have any ideas or suggestions or queries about this, you can IM me at niteethan instead of everyone posting their ideas and clogging up the thread :p
