Team Wars Tournament - Schedule Up, Post #2, Begin Battling

Team Name Pending are looking for our next challenge on the Forum. Anyone from a Team that we haven't faced yet is welcome to make a thread so that we can sort it out.

 

Maybe it's just me, but I kinda want this to end. It's been 2 months and usually tourneys only take a month. If you wanna battle more, just get your team on AIM and do it there

 

Unfortunately we've had considerable trouble trying to get the team together on AIM to battle, which is why we've principally switched to forum battling.

 

You only need 2 to be online :S
When I'm on the comp, I'm always on AIM, but not doing anything. It's not a hard thing to do.

 

Nevertheless we've had trouble all getting together on AIM at a time when there are also enough unattached opponants and/or referees.

[Lighthearted rant] You know it never ceases to amaze me that whenever anyone says 'it's tough getting together/a lot of time on AIM,' the response is invariably 'it's not hard.' Just because one person has no trouble doing it doesn't mean the same applies to everyone, particularly when trying to get multiple people in various time-zones online at once. [Lighthearted rant over]

 

Would anyone have a problem with this tourney ending right now and prizes be awarded accordingly to those who have won the most battles?

 

I think that idea sounds really swell :crush:

 

I wouldn't be against this; nothing has happened for a while, as far as I can tell

 

Could we at least finish our forum battles first?

erm... I'm pretty sure me and my team would have a problem, as we've only done one battle. As I said earlier we've been trying to get people to agree to forum battle us, but no one is biting (I'm getting sorely tempted to just create a thread with one of the opposing teams rather than waiting for them to accept the challenge)

 

You might have to, Dr. I remember a push a bit ago to just make forum threads, and make them all post; perhaps we should just do that for all remaining battles. My team (PA) has only had 5 or 6 battles, but we've already battled you, so I can't help much there.

 

Yeah, I'll probably do that for at least one of our outstanding battles tomorrow if nothing else happens overnight

You were *supposed* to being doing forum battles for weeks now. And since many people aren't I just assumed everyone had lost interest in the tournament.

 

Erm. As a member of Panther Assasins, we've completed 5 battles. We're halfway done.

This tournament will end August 30th, so complete any necessary battles by then. Prizes will be given out to those who have won the most battles.
