we had a very appropriate weather and terrain for S/M, which was sunny weather in space terrain. mikey pretty much had the upper hand, until typhlosion went on a 3-win killstreak, and took out mismagius with a flame charge + lava plume combo, OHKO'd dugtrio with burn up, outspeeding vikavolt and 2HKO-ing it with flamethrower (despite being paralyzed with discharge). ambipom finished typhlosion up with a fake out tho, and ludicolo being the burden it was, was burned by ambipom's fire punch and saw the light at the end of the tunnel.

Mega Gengar took a Taunt first turn from Weavile when Focus Blast missed, before grabbing an OHKO on the next turn. Greninja came in and Weakness Policy Drifblim was switched in to try and handle Protean Greninja. Right on the switch in, Weakness Policy activated on Night Slash and Drifblim secretly had double speed from Unburden boost as well. It could have went for the KO on Greninja but Magik did not had TM Acrobatics on his Drifblim...

He went for Baton Pass to Decidueye instead, whom took a critical hit Night Slash and was finished up next turn with Shadow Sneak. Mega Gengar came back in and went for Skill Swap, swapping its Shadow Tag for Greninja's Protean. With some careful maneuvers (even though Magik mistakenly thought Greninja learned Sucker Punch), Protean Gengar-Mega was able to finish up Greninja, and steamroll through Espeon and Charizard.
