    My Leaking Darkness is back on the third page as well. It'll probably need a Grader with a bit of experience, but anyone who wants to can take a whack at it :3

    Add to the list. Since it's pretty old I would claim it myself, but I want to get a bunch of these shorter stories out of the way. If it's still up later I'll take it.

    There was just too little information for this to work.
    Also, at 66 characters, this was way too short for a Merciless story.
    Also, I can't overlook the grammar error.
    I would give a more informative overview, but there isn't anything for me to work with. I liked the intro, though.

    Welcome, BlazeMaster! I'm sure you'll do fine here, although I'm not entirely sure that you'd have the temperament for excessive flogging and other wonderful torture forms. If you'd come with me, I'll get you your first pair of handcuffs and a whip.

    Go out and grade, young one. I am cursed with the lazies at this present moment in time. :<

    Well, I suppose I'm back... I'll start grading soon, as well as keeping tabs on the Story List again.

    Thanks, ATF. Feel free to update if I'm ever being lazy xb

    I was wondering: what would you Graders prefer when it comes to Wages? Would you guys prefer a set wage time every month, regardless of total grades, or would you prefer Wages be done after a good deal of stories have been graded? We would all like to see a lot of stories being graded, but withholding Wages doesn't boost activity.

    There should be an instant reward system, where you post your grade on the thread and a Senior Grader tells you your wage immediately. That would create more activity as if someone wanted some money they could just grade a story

    I don't think that would be a realistic approach to wages. That way, things are constantly jumbled up, and there's not a collection of who got what and when, which is important to keep track of just in case anyone actually decides to try and cheat. It's not likely that someone will, but it's a possibility. Additionally, there aren't that many people around that are yet qualified to do wages for graders, so that would largely fall upon the shoulders of one person, and logging on every day to see if there are any new grades and then having to go through the grade to pay the grader in question would be a little tiresome. With the current wages system we have, everyone can be dealt with at once and it's much easier to keep track of for anybody involved.

    To answer Kat's question, I think it's a little more fair that there's a set time each month for wages. As she said, withholding wages from the people who actually grade isn't going to do anything, and judging when wages should be based on the amount of stories graded would be based on the general activity of the Stories section, meaning that people couldn't get wages for quite a while if there was a sudden influx of written stories, but not many graders to deal with it. A set time ensures that the people who do actively grade get the money they deserve sooner rather than later, and if money isn't given out to all that many people, it's the fault of people who don't grade.

    idk

    I like the scheduled system of wages, like the other professions. Then it's like a reliable paycheck, and if you know wages will be paid soon, some will grade more. I agree that not paying wages doesn't boost activity since some people I've talked to said they don't like to grade because they never get paid.

    I like the scheduled grades personally. Instant wages is just really bad and hard to keep up with and would lead to all sorts of drama if someone got missed. But yeah, Scheduled grades. If there's only a couple grades, whatever, but maybe if people know when to expect their payday they'll grade a bunch right before.

    Okay, then, scheduled wages it is. How would the 10th of every month sound? It's an even member and easy to remember.

    Also:

    @WinterVines;
    @Alaskapigeon;

    You guys are free to do Wages when you want. If you plan to do Wages that month, just post in this thread around two days in advance to give the notice. I'll do them for this month.

    If any other experienced grader would like to do Wages, go ahead and ask, and I'll PM you the How To on Wages.
