I'm really hoping a grader gets to my piece soon. I wanna start getting into the RPG thing but it's kinda hard to keep writing stories when you don't even know what happened to your first lol

Calm down. Some of us have been waiting for like five days.

I second that. Be patient, but if you're anxious, edit your story. You're unintentionally being given time to improve, take it.

We could use a few more graders, though. You guys are posting a little faster than we're grading and that means we're falling a bit behind.

Members interesting in becoming graders should check this thread:

Heh, don't worry you guys. I don't think anyone took offense.

I was impatient when I first joined too. But think on the bright side. Back when I first joined, we had a total of 1 battle per a day and probably only 2 or 3 graders total.

    This is much more active.

I have a great idea for an experimental pokéball and i was wondering if i could use it in my story? It seems like it should be ok to use but I felt like i should check with ya'll first.

Re: URPG Stories Chat & Feedback

Really, not to bash you or anything, but that really doesnt help to-be graders. The main idea behind that thread is it says "get lucky and maybe some grader will have the time to consider you" So really the ones who really are trying hard to become graders really can't be noticed because its not really clear how you become one. there needs to be a better system than "if they think your good, then they'll PM you"

Also, it also assumes that you can ONLY be a good good grader if your a good writer. Me for example, have given short (blame the PS3) but really in depth reviews of people's stories, but if you look at the stories I have posted, I admit the're not the best. While I guess most people right now are saying "Oh Senzura your such a hypocrite, gining suggestions and critizizisms to other stories, but not being able to write your own, go die", but i think the ability to grade and the ability to write are COMPLETLY different.

tl'dr make it MUCH clearer how one can become a grader

    Permision to end rant?

Um. What. The hell. Are you talking about?

YOU BECOME A GRADER BY TAKING THE FREAKING GRADER TEST. But of course, if you actually wanted to become a grader, you would have read the grader help thread and learned this on your own. WHICH IS THE ENTIRE POINT.

So stop complaining. If you want to become a grader, then you have to read things.

DAMMIT. Im on a mod's bad side.....Well I guess i would do that, but now i suddenly dont feel like it. And besides, there are much better people on BMG would make much better graders. May I suggest Joshy?

I agree with this in spirit; however, from personal experience, it's really disconcerting to be given story criticism - especially regarding grammar/spelling - from someone who seems to have just as severe problems as I do.

George (Galleon) really is a nice person. He just gets really protective about Stories and he misses Emma, the another story mod, who recently resigned.

Yes, the best way to become a grader is to take the Grader Quiz.

Eh, I know I don't have much horse sense compared to everyone else here, but I'm gonna have to go with the mods on this one. Besides, I don't think I'd want a grader who completely butchered his second paragraph anyway...

    HARRY'S LYING. DON'T BELIEVE HIM. I'M A TERRIBLE PERSON.

But yeah, I guess I was a little harsh. Point is, we need graders, but graders need to be attentive, as well. You don't have to have perfect grammar, obviously, but being somewhat knowledgeable about the junk is important.
