I've been lurking in the shadows ;)
Every now and then I've been checking on how the URPG been going. And just as Felly said, the contest section isn't active, at all. If we held more festivals and contests, hire more judges, and promote the contest section, maybe it could become active. I would love to help out, but I have a judge application with a pending response. When I do get accepted, I'll help out as much as I can.

Wait, what. Felly stated in a joking manner that Ash did make it active again. The contest section has been about as active as battles have been in the last few months, and if you were paying attention to the other forums and watching as often as you stated, you would have notice this. The contest section is promoted enough for how its doing.
The thing is, you also just can't "hire" judges, people have to have the knowledge and be willing to volunteer for it. I can't say much about festivals, but how it currently stands is a fine spot and it seems you haven't caught on yet.
I haven't seen you on Discord in months, which is where everything goes on. Also, Felly literally said the exact opposite of "contest section isn't active, at all," if you choose to read exactly what she said (jokingly I might add).
I do appreciate your interest in helping any of our sections. That isn't something I want to shut out or be dismissive of, as any activity is appreciated. I just wish that you would stay more informed before you make statements. It's kind of hard to be of any help to us when it seems like you have no idea what is going on.

@EmpireCrusher203;
Judges may post their logs wherever they want. They post only on ONE forum as well. Even if we had 20 more Judges, if they all wanted to post just on PWN or whatever, that is their choice. Activity of a section is not determined solely by the activity of each forum individually but all of them as a whole added together.
None of that is Ash's fault. That there are contests AT ALL speaks to his success. Do not go around accusing people and spouting false information when you haven't done your homework. It makes your argument very weak and nonsensical.
If you want to help the other forums grow, you need to be active and post on all of them--not just in the URPG section, but in other sections around the forums as well. This is what we've been encouraging people to do for a while.
No one "loves" PWN more than any other forum. In fact, most users on URPG prefer BMG than any other forum. Like I said above, where the professionals choose to post their logs does NOT reflect activity of that forum or the URPG as a whole.
Like I said, you need to be more informed before you start making suggestions. Contests occur 9 times out of 10 live and not on forums. There isn't any more contest activity on PWN than PXR or BMG, the only related "activity" is logging contests that occured live on Discord which isn't really activity and can be done anywhere. If you want to be in contests, Discord is usually where they occur. If you want a forums contest, that's on you start but they are much slower and less efficient. Forums alone are not a good way to gauge activity at all. Also, I hope you're only talking about contests here because saying we focus on PWN alone and not BMG is incorrect for a ton of reasons.
Also, you need [ /SPOILER] (no space) at the end of your post to make the tag work.

Also, by the same definition, the last battle "on PXR" was 2014 as well. At which point a PXR forum admin moved their log to PWN.

I just want to thank Ash for restoring my Typhlosion's self-esteem. Without his efforts to restore the Contest section to itsformerfirst-ever glory, my Typhlosion would never have been able to see himself the way I see him. Now that he has won a Beauty ribbon, Typhlosion is a strong, sexy woman who don't need NO man.
