Thread: National Park Sign-Up

Name: Mihane Sakagawa (坂川海羽)

Backstory: Mihane awoke one day to find herself in the Pokémon world. With an nigh-incomprehensible accent when speaking English and no knowledge of the language beyond basics, she struggled as a trainer until she met a Ralts who could understand Japanese and communicate back to her. She would later find out that the Ralts had been bred by the only other Japanese-speaking person in the region and had been released for being a little too weird. In the Pokémon world, she seemed to be a weirdness magnet, attracting all manner of strange Pokémon. So far, she's bonded well with her first Pokémon, now a Gardevoir, who functions as her translator, and a Leafeon she found.
Personality:
• Doesn't seem to be from baseline Earth or the Pokémon world
• Has a strange sense of humor
• Over-reliant on Kokone's translations
• Makes references that sometimes her Pokémon don't even get
• Once you get past the language barrier she's actually really willing to talk and make friends

Personality: Kayla is geared towards intellectual pursuits; she loves learning and considers the pursuit of truth and understanding to be one of the purest things a person can do. She is good at critical thinking and problem solving, and tends to be very analytical by nature with a definite “fixer” personality. She is very passionate and loves to share her passions and hear what other people are passionate about. While she is somewhat singleminded and selfish at times, not realizing how her actions affect others, she does her best to stay positive and be an uplifting presence. She can also be a tad moody, easily catching onto the sadness and pain of those around her and reacting as if it was her own.
Description: The most striking thing about Kayla’s appearance is her white hair. Long, wavy, and well-kept, her hair flows down beneath her shoulders, though she usually keeps it tied back with a cloth so that it stays out of her deep black eyes. Her skin is a healthy, reddish tan, and her face is more cute than beautiful. She’s on the taller side for a woman, standing at 5’10”, and her frame is fairly lean without an abundance of curves. She likes to dress fashionably, trending toward nice blouses and tunics with soft color schemes. The earrings and necklaces she wears are fairly simple and trend toward the subtly space-themed. Hello! While I'm excited to see a new face in the Park, I'd like to give some clarifications. The "Pokemon Captured" section is for Pokemon you've caught in the Park. "Pokemon Natures" is for the nature of each Pokemon you bring into the Park. Natures are static - once you assign your Pokemon a Nature, this cannot be changed, so recording it is important. You'll also need to list what items you have, so that your Ranger knows whether the heals and balls and whatnot you're using are legal. I know it can be tedious, but it's important for us Rangers to track!

Natsuki's also going to need a physical description. The Rangers who are RPing with you will need to know what your character looks like in order to write posts! The personality also needs more fleshing out, so that Rangers or other Trainers in Team Runs have an idea of the character they'll be playing with. It doesn't have to be much, but there still needs to be some detail. For instance, when is Natsuki shy? When is she bold? How does that show itself in her behavior? Why is she motivated to be a doctor? Why is she kind? How does she respond to other people? Does she respond to Pokemon differently? Is she impulsive, quick-tempered, cautious, silly, etc? There's no need for a biography, but people reading this post should be able to get a decent idea of what they're in for with this character.
