Thread: National Park Sign-Up

Welcome to the Sign-Up thread. This is where you post your SUs for approval by the Rangers, so that you can use that character, solely for Roleplay throughout the Park. You may have multiple SUs, which you can keep in the same post, but keep in mind only official Rangers for the Park may have Ranger characters.

You are also advised to read the Start-up Guide before joining.

If this is your first character, you will also receive the following items with your character: Park Ball x3, Energy Powder x1, Lava Cookie x1, Pokedoll x1.

Personality: (Are you a mean/happy-go-lucky/sad person or anything along this lines. This may also be a good place to add in some backstory if it helps everyone understand your character. Try to aim for a short paragraph.)
Description: (What do you look like? This will help both Rangers and other Trainers envision your character when you interact. Does your character have any quirks, like restless leg syndrome? Aim for a short paragraph.)
Park Mastery: This is where you can keep track of your Park Mastery for this character. Park Mastery is a system that gauges your character's expertise at exploring certain areas of the Park! For more information, check out the "Park Mastery" section located here. You won't need to worry about tracking this until you finish your first run.
Pokemon Captured: After your SU has been approved, you have to keep track of the Pokemon you've captured in the Park. Simply edit them into your stats each time you leave the Park. You can be as specific about when and where you captured them as you like. Be sure to note what Natures they were given.**
Pokemon Natures: As you bring Pokemon into the Park and catch them, you'll need to keep track of their Natures. Please add a Pokemon and its Nature to your stats every time you bring a new one to the Park. For example, if you bring Gengar to the Park for the first time, make sure you edit it into your stats along with the Nature you chose. You only have to add each Pokemon once, and only as it's brought into the Park. You can also add your Pokemon's Natures in your regular URPG stats, if you wish to.
Park Items: You can either keep track of Items you've bought/used here, in your regular URPG stats, or both. Just make sure you keep track of them somewhere. When you create your first character, you automatically receive 5 Park Balls, a Lava Cookie, a Poke Doll, and an Energy Powder Plus, so you can list those here!

After a Ranger approves you and you have all the necessary supplies, you are ready to apply to go on a run. Sign-ups are stored in the Archive for easier access.

Chelsea, well, doesn’t really care about anything to be honest with you. She’s sort of a lackluster person, she’s so carefree she wouldn’t mind if her right foot was hooked onto an alligator’s tooth. Although, she can easily put her mind to something. There are two ways this can happen.


Upon choice, it’s usually pertaining to a certain job or mission she is given. When she chooses to stick her mind to something, there’s no knocking this nail loose. It would take a long time to convince her otherwise, and the general benefactors she can get out of this are great if they are what she’s going for.


When she’s angered, you better be hoping for your life. She’s got a fierce temper when angry, and will focus on one thing: Beating you. Although she’s a calm, loose cannon almost all the time, she hates those who challenge her or try to betray her. She doesn’t believe in any cheap ways of fighting either, so she won’t ever do a sneak attack.

Otherwise, stepping out of her main personality, Chelsea is a faithful and forgiving person. She likes helping others for when they need it. She’s always looking for friends and is up to being with anybody.


Description:
Chelsea is an...interesting person in terms of clothing. We’ll start from the top and work our way down. First of all, her haircut man. This is the neatest thing about her. Although it’s completely straight, it curves around her head a little. I would draw it but I’m not good. It’s an interesting design, and if you can imagine, it sort of looks like a helmet per say. Oh yeah, it’s black with some blue highlights. Ain’t that just strange? Anyways, she generally wears a pair of aviator goggles under her hair.


Moving down, we go to her basic top wear. She wears a green tanktop with a camo-colored winter jacket that is partially cut apart. The reason is to make it lighter and more easily worn. It’s sown with some of the toughest material she knows, but it could be torn open due to age.



Some minor things to note:


She wears mechanic’s gloves that she sewn an inside layer of bullet proof armor for unspecified reasons. She wears no earings, and has no jewelry on her. She HATES that stuff. Also, if you want a picture to think of her easier, here you go:

Age: 16
Gender: Male
Personality: Mike is a pretty strange person. In addition to being fairly random and unpredictable, he has a very strange sense of humor, one that very few people share with him. Despite his weirdness, he is usually pretty friendly. He does often try to avoid contact with people he doesn’t know though, as he is shy. He becomes more outgoing when he has friends around, but he does not have very many friends, as his shyness often prevents him from trying to make new friends.
Mike has a reasonably short temper. While he can keep calm for a little while, it does not take much to anger him. Though he angers easy, he is difficult to insult.

Description: Mike is just over 6 feet tall. He has blue eyes and curly light brown hair. Though he is not particularly fat, he is far from thin. He is not very strong. His skin is pale, and burns easily in the sun. His normal attire consists of brightly colored T-shirts, as well as dark colored shorts. He carries around a small black backpack when he is travelling, hiking, or anything of that nature. He wears worn white shoes. When it gets cold, he will throw on a black hoodie.

Personality: He is determined to be the best trainer, he trains so he can become a pokemon expert & is competitive. However he like to be kind to all his friends & cares for his pokemon. He is kind to them & they are kind in return his pokemon are loyal to him. He would even help wild pokemon that have been injured, by caring for the wild pokemon until it's better, & in extreme conditions he would do what he can for the wild pokemon then hurry the wild pokemon to a poke-center and stay there until everything is ok.


Description: about 5' 8" , has short brown hair, blue eyes. He wears a white t-shirt with the words i future pokemon champion & navy blue jeans. is good & kind to his pokemon. He has a Yellow/Blue backpack for him to carry his supplies.

Personality: (basic) Modest, boisterious, loud, loves bug pokemon, denies praise, shys away from strangers, screams a lot, cries a lot, wary around electric types, biggest fear is tentacle pokemon (tentacruel/tentacool).
Mitsuki was training to become the best Pokemon breeder, but she realised she'd need to gain experience as a trainer to help! She's quite modest, yet probably a little boisterious at the same time. She will deny most praise, shying away from most (especially strangers) who do. Mitsuki tends to be the loudest of everyone around her, but usually screaming. She loves bug Pokemon and is very wary around electric types... but her biggest fear is the sea, and tentacle pokemon. Seeing water types like that sends her into a screaming crying fit in which no amount of happy can get her out of.
