"Aww, look at that Krabby!" I called out from the entrance of the room. "I wish I had brought some Pokeballs to capture this little guy!"

"Why not eat it," Shadow joked quietly. Krabby then lashed out at us angrily. I wasn't sure if it heard Shadow or not, or if it was just angry like the others, but now we had to battle it. Didn't come to me as a surprise now since it was expected. I had a feeling I'd have to fight each and every Pokemon that I found here. There was just no way around them.

"Mindbender, you got this." I said, tossing her Pokeball besides me. She appeared next to me and looked down at the small Krabby. "Just use Thunderbolt, man I do wish I had that Pokeball now. I want it. I guess I'll head over to the Lakes next and see if I can find one. It will be cool to have.

"Alright then." She said, raising her arms. I could see the electricity flow from her mid section and work its way up towards her arms. The greenish yellow electricity shot out of her hands and was headed straight for Krabby...

The Thunderbolt hit Krabby as expected. Although, the Thunderbolt seemed to give Krabby a small charge and he shot forward and slammed his larger red claw-pincer thing down on Mindbender's side. She flinched a little at the unexpected attack.

"Well, that was a surprise." I called out. "Finish this with Energy Ball!"

"Alright!" She said. Green matter was being created around her mid section. She wasn't even using her hands for this one. The energy was being pulled from above, so it had to be some place grassy like the Botanical Gardens or something close to that. She fired the orb when it was about the size of a baseball. It wasn't too big, but I felt that it would do the job.

"After this, let's go West!" Shadow called out. I just nodded and shrugged/

As we entered the room, I noticed the immediate drop in temperature. I shivered a little and moved closer to Shadow to get his warmth. I looked closer and saw a ghastly figure begin to appear in the center of the room. I immediately knew who it was. It was a good thing Pointblank was fighting next, though Shadow would've been a great choice as well since both his types, Fire and Dark were super effective against Froslass, a Ghost and Ice Type.

"Alright. Looks like we now have to battle this Froslass." I said, rolling my eyes. "Well, you're up Pointblank. Start things off with Work Up, then go into Iron Head." He gave a soft grunt, then began powering up. When he powered up, his whole body would give off a red glow, signifying that his power was increased. Then, his head would turn rock hard and he'd charged at Froslass, slamming hard into her. His head would be glowing not only red from the Work Up, but also a silverish color because of Iron Head. There was a chance he'd miss since she was a Ghost, but I felt he'd have a good chance of hitting her with Iron Head.

"Well, that Blizzard did more than expected." I sighed.

"Yeah, I know." Pointblank grumbled as he shook it off. "Just caught me off guard."

"Use Metal Claw, full power!" I called out to the legendary beast. Pointblank roared loudly and grumbled. His entire body began glowing red again. It was a good thing that his Work Up attack worked perfectly. Now his power was up twofold. Metal Claw wasn't a particularly strong attack, so he was going to have to try and put more power into it. I wasn't really expecting for Froslass to leave, but I was sure hoping it.

Pointblank ran towards Froslass and got on his hind legs. His claws then began giving off a greyish metallic color that was encased by the transparent red from Work Up. He raised his front claws in front of him and prepared to bring them down on Froslass.

"When we get passed this Pokemon, we're going North." I called out to the lot.

I looked into the next room, expecting nothing again, but instead I found a small bird Pokemon, which made no sense here. At least not this far into the cave. I could understand maybe one being in the beginning of the cave, but here... it could only mean one of two things. Either I was near the exit, or someone deliberatly placed Vullaby here, and I wasn't sure which was true.

"Alright Skullcruncher, this isn't much of a challenge for you, but you're up." I called out. The large black dragon sighed and moved in front of me. "Use Head Smash." Skullcruncher shrugged his shoulders and began giving off a blue aura. Then his body went black and whitish, like in a cartoon and he went full on Super Sayian. Skullcruncher dashed at Vullaby at full force.

"Awesome job. Just as planned. Now finish this with Rock Tomb!" I called out. There wasn't much else I could do, and I could use Rock Tomb effectively without getting too close so it was a win win for me.

Skullcruncher roared loudly, his usually tactic to try and intimidate his opponent. I wasn't sure if Vullaby would be scared since it too was a Dark type and had its share of scary things. I had a weird feeling though that my Rock Tomb would miss.

The large black beast began making rocks come out of the ground below the hovering Vullaby. Those rocks would pelt the bird and make it slower. In turn, it should also make Vullaby leave us alone.

"Wow," I said, sounding more excited than I really was. "I guess we are near the exit if we are finding another Flying type Pokemon here. What other explanation is there. I wanted to run past this annoying, stupid looking bird Pokemon, but I knew that it was going to be persistant and not let me. I just shrugged and pointed at Shadow since he was already out. "You're up. Just use Flamethrower. I don't want this to go on any longer than it has too."

"Hmm. Alright. I can try and make this fast. I just don't want to hurt the little guy." Shadow said.

"Yeah, I know, but then he shouldn't be challenging us. It is a battle after all, and we play battles to win them. So go all out on it." I said, I just hoped I got out of here on time, but judging by the time on my watch, that wasn't going to happen.

Shadow arched his head back and opened his mouth wide. The flames were traveling from his insides and flowing all the way up towards his mouth. Once there, he began creating a ball of fire. When the ball was at least the size of a softball, he let out a long, hard puff which sent the flames towards the Starly wannabe.
